- In this captivating video, witness the mesmerizing process of 3D printing my very own design of the beautiful Voronoi Heart.
Using the powerful @Creality3D K1 printer and the stunning @overture3d259 Wine PLA Filament, I bring this intricate design to life. As the video unfolds, you'll witness the gradual creation of the Voronoi Heart, layer by layer, showcasing the incredible precision and detail that 3D printing can achieve. From the initial layer to the final result, every step is captured in this visually captivating timelapse.
Once the printing process is complete, I take you on a journey of carefully removing the intricately printed Voronoi Heart from the buildplate. Witness the delicate maneuvering and care taken to ensure the object's safe removal without any damage.
Next, you'll see the meticulous process of removing the supports and brim that held the Voronoi Heart in place during printing. I accelerated the speed to achive a good looking and not lasting part. This step demonstrates the importance of proper support structures and showcases the skillful post-processing required to achieve a flawless final model. After that I use a lighter to remove little strings and to revive color of deburred parts.
Throughout the video, the vibrant Overture Wine PLA Filament adds a touch of sophistication and elegance to the final print. The deep, rich color of this filament truly enhances the intricate patterns created by the Voronoi design.
Witness the culmination of innovation and craftsmanship as the final 3D printed Voronoi Heart is unveiled. Captivating in its complexity, this model is a testament to the endless possibilities of 3D printing.
Join me on this captivating journey of 3D printing as I showcase the process, from start to finish, of creating the Voronoi Heart with the Creality K1 printer and the Overture Wine PLA Filament.

That’s really cool!
Thanks mate 🤗
how did you print it without the supports on the inside?
Hey @Epiclights! Activate the option to generate supports only in the buildplate. If you use Tree/organic supports the branch can try to reach the inside, you can tweak angles and distances to avoid this or just use normal supports. In some slicers you can use the block supports function or if your printer have good bridging capabilities you can try to print it without supports. Happy Printing! 🤗
@@Frikarte3D I have a qidi x plus 3 and using qidi slicers. I gotta see where the settings are in this software since I’m still new. But thank you
As I seen the Qidi Slicer is a fork of Cura, if you don't find the place to configure that supports, check for Cura tutorials, they will work very similar.
hey, what kind of software do you use for degning??
For the Voronoi pattern? I create the main model with any CAD software like SketchUp, TinkerCAD, Fusion,... and then Meshmixer to generate the pattern, if you think this will be interesting I can add a tutorial on the list.
@@Frikarte3D Thank you very much, I was just asking about the pattern. Tuotrial about making this pattern would be great, I believe it will interest more people.
