    So, this past season in Chicago, I learned to use the punch rig after watching you smoke 'em time and time again. I cannot believe how many BIG fish I caught this year in the grass. Thank you for always showing your baits/rigs so others can improve from what they've learned. Great video!!! Tight lines Greg.

    Hey Greg how you been? Missed a few of your videos, been fishing a lot myself. So glad to be back watching your channel. Few questions for you,
    1) Do you ever go out with just targeting Stripers, Salmon or Sunfish?
    2) When Bass fishing is hard would you say the Drop Shot would be the "Go to" set up? As we're fond of it.
    3) How rare is it to catch Rainbow Trout in the Delta? (reason is we fish the Delta more than anywhere caught a few thousand fish but only 1 Rainbow Trout to date, which bit on our Sunfish pole with Red Worms on it).
    Welp was wonderful to get a chance to watch your videos again! Tight lines Greg...

    The bass bite out here in pnw washington is very weird and specific. Either you can snag one on one bait one day then the next day absolutely nothing touching it. Also sucks when people catch a 3 to 6 pound and kill it instead of releasing them. The I've only been able to catch one bass on a earth worm in August. I'd love to fish better bass waters sometime.

    Greg, on your go pro set up, do you just hit record and they run for hours and hours? Or do you have them on looping mode? Curious cause I would assume file sizes get too large if you record an all day fishing trip in one clip?

    • @outsidewithmike
      @outsidewithmike 2 года назад +1

      Can't speak for Greg but my GoPro makes files less than 4 GB each rather than one big file. I leave mine on most of the time. Don't need to change out the card unless it's a really long day or I'm shooting 4k, which I never do. If you do looping mode it will record over your other files so don't do that. SD cards have gotten pretty cheap. 256Gigs and you're good all day. I use 128s and I'm good all day though.

    I’m a newbie to this whole bass fishin game. I’ve been a fly fisherman all my life and only ever went after trout. Don’t get me wrong I still love it, but this new world is fun!
    Can you tell me what knot you tied at 17:15 on the football jig?
