    To anyone who bought the mcgaughys kit and can’t find a way to remove the bottom bolt of the rear leaf spring. you should remove the tow hitch to have the clearance to pull it out

    Did you install the shocks correctly on the first truck. They look upside down.
    Another's thing, I think you are suppose to put the upper balljoint under not over.

    • @proyectosloscarnales4512
      @proyectosloscarnales4512  4 года назад

      Usually the upper control arm helps with alignment issues they also make specialty upper ball joints it all depends what’s going on with it

    Do you think you’ll have camber with just 2 inch drop springs?.. Really want to drop my truck 2/4 but don’t want to mess it up

    • @proyectosloscarnales4512
      @proyectosloscarnales4512  2 года назад +1

      yes usually the springs give it camber you might get away with just a alignment or running a drop spindle instead of drop spring

  • @robertsinaloa8
    @robertsinaloa8 3 года назад +1

    Did you use the stock spindles with the drop control arms ? I put some on my truck and didn’t fit on my stock spindles. I hat to put the drop spindles so it gave me about 6 inch drop in the front and it’s to low.

    • @proyectosloscarnales4512
      @proyectosloscarnales4512  3 года назад +1

      Stock spindles but check the ball joints on the lowering control arms because the nnbs had some trucks with aluminum spindles and some with steel spindles from factory and they have different ball joints one is bigger than the other

  • @Esojesuss
    @Esojesuss 3 года назад

    You think that if I get the flip kit done and drop it 6 inches alone with that, do you think I could keep my 2 inch drop shackles but just move over the bolt to keep it at 7 inches without needing a c notch

    • @proyectosloscarnales4512
      @proyectosloscarnales4512  3 года назад

      Honestly it’s based big on driving style you can possibly get away with it if you do not carry heavy stuff but if you plan on carrying heavy stuff I’d recommend stock shackles or a c-notch. Worst case scenario try the 7 inch drop and see how it feels for you the stock shackles only take 30ish minutes to swap if you need to swap them.

    If I just install lowering front springs do I still have to cut the lower ball bolt to run 17s?? And can I still use that 1in block to run 6in or do I have to remove? Thanks I’m advance

    • @proyectosloscarnales4512
      @proyectosloscarnales4512  2 года назад +1

      I believe its only for the 4 inch drop that you need to cut ball joint to fit 17s and that rear block is specific to stock differential location after the drop you have to buy a lowering block if you want to lower it more or just throw it out and have a 6 inch drop with the flip kit
