Nice job Travis on the complete front and rear suspension swap.. you can do that in your sleep because you done soooo many.. PS? I caught a glimpse on the white Vette new rims and tires on that?
Love it! Now I’m going to start looking for one! Another great video! Bet you wish you could take your time and paint and detail the frame and rear end! But I know you have to keep moving for the video. Thanks for sharing
You might consider changing out the upper intermediate shaft as well. Literally hour job at most. It will make a difference you can feel and will remove any remaining squeaks.
I bought a 2005 single cab step side cat eye that was already lowered. no c notch on the rear though. it is horrible. Constantly hitting bump stops. Has air shocks on the rear that will not hold air. I occasionally haul a small trailer with lawn mower or other light stuff. Does the c notch hurt towing capacity on the frame at all. I've got a lot of work to do to make my truck look as good as the ones you have but hopefully one day I can afford to get it how i want it.
Travis i just picked up a 02 Yukon XL. With 14k miles it’s unbelievable. Video request: the OEM sub is bad or it just sounds terrible. How about showing us a upgrade / swap ?
I have a 2013 Denali that I lowered with the Beltech kit that you use.. I did the 2" drop spindle plus a 2" drop spring in the front and the 4-5" spring in the back. I used the new bump stops. I did cut the frame picece off. It rides like a trampolineand hits the bumpstop continually. What can I do to soften the ride?
@@TWAMotorsports I misunderstood the answer in a previous video. I can remove the spring and use the cups. Should I change the rear spring to a 3". Thanks. I really enjoy your videos
Not sure what to tell you honestly. Hard to help when you don't use the same components I did. All of the parts I use in my videos are stuff I know works and has a good or quality ride.
Hey Travis. I totally agree with you about the body styling and front end appearance on the 2nd gen silverado/sierra. Love the 14 and 15 front end silverado. Got sort of a nbs look. Did you get the 6 cyl to avoid the afm/dod?
I like the maxtrac stuff better then the mcguagys and when you get maxtrac stuff from suspension supertore they give you huge discount. I was skeptical but it ia actually nicer and made on the usa.
Hey how’s it going great job on all the whips you have lowered I have question I have a 2010 Silverado 2wd installed a 2/4 rough country flip kit spindles on from 2in rear flip kit but I want to drop it maybe 2 inches more what can I do for front and rear and for the rear are there 5-6 inch drop hanger that I can install?? Where I live the shops don’t know much small town lol they can install kit but when it comes to?? I asked n they don’t know I would appreciate seems like you know your stuff I’ve commented on other RUclips videos to guys that do but they don’t reply thanks
Love any sort of NNBS content. White on these trucks looks amazing!
Thank you. More to go
The stance is perfect !
Love the white /Texas Edition combination.
Thank you
Great diy video for installing a front and rear drop kit. Was never a big fan of lowered trucks for myself, but they look awesome when done right. ✌🏻
Thank you. It is a lot of parts
Great video your work ethic and attention to detail is second to none.
Thank you

Thank you. No new rims.
Very nice looking truck. Always refreshing watching one of your lowing tutorials, Travis!
Thank you for that
Behind the fuel door is an awesome place for the valve stem 🤟
Did that on my 2020 gmc actually
Pretty detailed video good job love for you to work on my truck and drop it like that
Thank you. Don't have time to keep up with my own stuff

Thank you. I do wish I had more time to get ocd on it.
Truck looks great. Love your attention to detail.
Thank you Kyle

May do that
Great looking truck always wanted that body style just haven't found the write one yet
Thank you. They are getting a little harder to find
Nice job, truck is looking real nice. Those wheels with the drop and it being a white truck looks good.
Thank you
I got the same truck and the same color and I'm considering to get the same lower kit 🤣 .. I think the 4/6 drop will be phenomenal on the V8 😎
Definitely looks good
@@TWAMotorsports Bro keep posting videos like this .. We really enjoy watching your content

I have the same truck on the Same rims . Brother . Lookin good

C notch is fine for hauling. Weld in is better but bolt on will work too
I have a similar kit with spindles and lowering struts up front but man my front suspension squeak is driving me crazy
Probably have bad bushings
Looks way better! I enjoyed the video
Thank you
Looks great agree with you that the Sierras from 07 up look much better than Silverados.
Definitely
Nice! 🔥🔥 I might of missed it if you mentioned it. What size tire’s?
Did in previous video and link to parts in video description. 265/40/22
NNBS rock!
Lol. Biased
@@TWAMotorsports Hey, I heard you say that you like them about as much as the green truck. Then you dissed the Chevrolet trucks. SMH. Lol
Lol. I'm a gmc guy
Looks great Travis !
Thank you

I never use a drop spring in front. That would be a good start.

Did you find it necessary to use a shorter sway bar endlink. You're looks stock length?
Was stock length
Don’t forget some loctite 545 on those airline fittings in the bags.
I did on the bottom

I agree. I will have a 2014 to 2015 Silverado at some point
I meant to say a obs look. I look forward to that. Too bad about the damn afm/dod
Yeah dod is terrible
I am wondering, are those mcgaughys upper and lower control arms ?? Or just stock ones ?
Stock
@@TWAMotorsports where did you get them ??
@harveyr2546 links in video description
Awesome wat drop is it???
It isn't lowered yet
The top of the tire rubs the wheel liner on the front end on my truck.. what are you going to do about it? Same drop as yours on a ‘13 crew cab
No rubbing on mine
Cut them or smaller tire. What dis you end up doing?
?
@@TWAMotorsports I was talking to the guy that had rubbing. Asking him what he did
Gotcha
Link to find the helpers air bags

How low was the drop?
4.5/7
Hope you or someone in the comments answer my question do 2006 spindles fit my 08 I already ordered and I’m stressing about them not fitting
No they do not
@@TWAMotorsports they look identical but I could be wrong
They aren't
Finally figured it out but a 2inch drop wasn’t enough can I cut the springs to drop it another 2 or I can’t because it’s a strut assembly?
I wouldn't
Great Job, thank you
Thank you
I was just about to comment before you said it. It would be pretty nice to swap in a little old 5.3L….
Not planning on that anytime soon
Wooooohooooo YES!! I want another 08 GMC now lol
Lol
How much cost for all accessoires

How much could it cost to have it done in a specialized workshop?
No idea. Probably over $1000

Do you plan on doing a v8 swap?
Not anytime soon if ever
Wheel and tire specs?
