Even though I almost never agree with the points and the score you give to the scooters in your reviews, I have to admit that I was very surprised when I saw that the subs you have aren't over 500K. The quality and the amount of time you put into the making off and editing of this videos are over 9000.
Thanks to you I got a Zoom to complement my ES4 (while it was having its burnt out controller replaced). Whilst I prefer the ride, range & power (when it doesn't fry itself) of the ES4; the weight, portability, comfort & reliability of the zoom make it the one I usually take. I would love to see a mega comparison between the Zoom, ES4, Xiaomi Pro, Zero9 and whatever comes from boosted. Thanks for still being the best ambassador reviewer of scooters the UK has seen!
Put custom firmware on, turn off KERS activating when you release throttle - it will let you freewheel coast. That extends the range considerably for me, easy 15+ km range on the old M365 with extra power modded in.
I have a M365 since almost 1 year, and I can tell you that buying this scooter was one of my best choice in 2018, I just love it. And what’s more The price is really cheap compare to other scooters and the performance are good enouuuugh!! If you need a scooter for going to work, or just go for a walk the weekend do not hesitate this is what you need.😎👍🏻
Bro, I am wondering about the battery life cycle, how is the battery performance after almost 1 year of use and how many kilometers that your scooter went so far? Since the battery is almost a half of whole package of this scooter. If the battery only last for like 1 or 2 hour and around 2000km, that is not economically good for my monthly budget. have been thinking to buy either M365 or 365 Pro (price diffence around 150usd ini indonesia and all of them come up with 1 month waranty, since Indonesian Xiaomi doesnt release the product officially.)
Muhammad Arief Wibawa do not worry, I do NOT see any difference in the battery performance since I have bought it. I still drive around 20-27 km with one charge. But I charge it every day at work so I can ensure The battery is always full.

maybe its because it's still illegal to ride on the open road or pavement till the government changes the rules but Ben continues to try and sell these things by viewing them
Excellent review. No idea about this before I got xiaomi Pro last week. My first test ride went shopping my weight 76kg I was surprised to achieve to 20 mph unless it was 20kph or was on slight downhill. I thought it was pretty level. I am going to test it and check if any improvements have been made or I got USA model or some special derestricted model. Well impressed with performance. Any heads up re legality if I assist the scooter by one of the foot is it possible to say its like pedelac assisted bicycle as long as speed limited to 15.5mph!
Hey Ben, I'm going to post this again via the Xiaomi Pro vid, but right now I officially own the Xiaomi m365 Pro now! Man, it's so much better than the original version in terms of increased acceleration, longer range = greater battery life, LCD screen (finally), wider disc brakes, cool looking RED ring on the front wheel hub and the slightly larger body as well hehe! 😁🛴👍
Magnificent video, lads! I seldom comment on anything, but the amount of effort and skill it took to make this video gave me the warm fuzzies. Top notch job, and thanks for the comparing review. I think I will just update my good ol' m365 with extra battery and wait a summer or two for something more awesome to come by. New, better battery patents that are becoming reality are just around the corner, so the next few years should be interesting when it comes to the quality of batteries and the vehicles that use them.
To anyone thinking about buying one of these, i have the Xiaomi 365, 1st gen, it really is the best money i ever spent, holds my weight like a pro because i weight 17 stone. I can't wait for the second gen to come out. Thanks for the video.
@@Best-Farshid Pro since it has more torque & can go up hills a lot faster than the 1st gen model. I might plan on getting one once I get rid of my existing Xiaomi m365 e-scooter.
The price difference I think does not compensate the extra capacity of the battery. The brake calliper does not look very good and the screen costs £15 on AliExpress more or less and the rest of Xiaomi M365 Pro is more or less the same. The tyres should be change for 10' wheel size and put a hydraulic calliper and protect de rear light cable under the mudguard.
At 4:05 Xiaomi has addressed the rear-exposed wire for the Xiaomi Pro's that are manufactured in the 3rd quarter of 2019, so my Xiaomi Pro unit was made in July 2019 and I checked that there's a metal plate barrier protecting the exposted wire! Great Job Xiaomi, great job hehe! 😁👍🛴 Oh by the way, the charging port flap is slightly revised, its actually magnetic now hehe!
Please compare XIAOMI M365 PRO vs NINEBOT ES2 with extended battery pack. It would be cool if you do some software mods on M365 PRO to match the top speeds and see how batteries perform. Cheers!

If I remember properly a lot of the early problems fixed later on the pro as well as the currently sold M365s. Also the pro has some kind of weatherproofing on the battery pack as they advertise it should be ok to be used in rainy weather, which is not the case for the 365.

Couple of important points. 1) The charging port cover has been completely redesigned if you'd bothered to do more than just flick it and call it "the same crappy cover". It's now magnetic and reseats itself. The original is just a rubber cover. 2) The bottom plate maybe the same but the battery is now in a metal case so the bottom plate doesn't need improving.
I've rented this scooter for a week and used to make 11 miles in the morning from home to work and with 47% battery left. Of course I was charging it during the day so can't say if it would get me home with 47% battery. but I could assume it would manage 20 miles easy. I'm 1.72m and about 67-70kg
Prefered your review on the Mi scooter Pro than the Canary Wharf vid hehe! The 2019 did addressed some minor issue from the previous 2017 model, like the hill incline speed, increased battery capacity, torque & travel distance, plus adding a LCD-LED display! Overall, it doesn't seem to be much of a upgrade over the 2 year old Mi scooter & Xiaomi still haven't bothered on upgrading the issues that many Mi scooter users (like me) wanted to be addressed on the newer model, unless you are desperate to replace the older model since the latest model can outlast it & has more room for your legs to rest thanks to the increased dimensions. The Canary Wharf channel tested out the travel distance on the Mi scooter Pro, in Sports mode, and it lasted around a travel distance of 35km!
Hi Ben, I really enjoyed your video 👌🏻 was a fantastic help for a newbie like me. Purchased the pro based on your review as I have quite a few hills in my area. I’m in North London so hopefully see you out there at some point 🤘🏻

I purchased a pro a few weeks ago. When I got it, it came with a piece metal installed to protect the back brake light!! First thing I checked after watching your video. Love the videos, been watching them all weekend. Also in London myself. I reckon it’d be great if you did a race (a la top gear) between two points on different modes of transport, e scooter, e bike, public transport etc.
great video. but battery covering is improved from inside. charging port cover now has magnets, so it has to last better and protect port better aswell.
I'm in Austria here. Bought an M365 for last Xmas. Immediately took apart the rear fender to take care of the cable problem and lo - in MY case, they had already fixed it. The inside of the fender is completely different and the cable runs protected. I bought the kit for naught. Likewise, I couldn't even fit the protective 3D printed rubber seal into the folding mechanism as it is so tight it wouldn't close if the thinnest seal was put in. So far, nothing has come loose. How weird that they would go back to the OLD fender model on the pro????
Can't wait to get mine. I travel to work with bus and train Have to walk around 10 minutes to the bus station and so it's going to be faster. Nearly 13 Miles with the sport mode is awesome. Did someone tried the eco mode reach? And is the brake Energy Function useful or just a gimmick?
Break energy function actually works pretty well for me. From home to train we have big hill down, so I charge etc. 2.5% to 3.5% for only riding this hill. So it is useful. I like it!
Very good report! Would be great if in the future you could also report kilometers. I had to convert first and I am certainly not alone ;-) Greetings from Germany
Hi Ben, After watching your various e-scooter comparison videos, and determining the availability of the various scooters in Canada, I bought the Xiaomi M365 Pro. Then...I bought another Xiaomi Pro for my girlfriend's daughter for Christmas. And then I bought the Zero 9 and gave my girlfriend my Xiaomi. All in the course of about 3 weeks. I wish I could have bought the scooters through you for all the time you've spent putting your amazing videos together. Please keep up the good work.
The Ninebot ES2 has better build quality & is easier to fold down, plus has the option of an additional battery which increases top speed & range. (Also colourful lights underneath)
I have a pro I bought during first lockdown and last month I used it and unboxed it for the first time.. a rider of a weight around 80kg I get about 22miles on a full charge and have about half a bar left Gotta remember as the scooter gets older the battery decreases
Get the m365 and just make a junction plug to connect an external battery pack. Can double the distance. Can also mod it heavily and gain even more features like the screen and controller. Much cheaper than the Pro
I tested a zinc volt xt3 as they had it available in uk for 100 pounds and have to say on tarmac/concrete it actually goes at 15mph and works great .my problem its illegal in uk so can only use it in my garden just for fun .I have no concrete just lots of lawn thats mowed flat .It does move on it but not great not good enough i think the motor in that is 150 w and only one proper tyre on front.I need something much better .
Great review Ben, honest and spot on. In the price class of the pro there are scooters with better suspension and distance and ore speed. Like to see you do a comparison with a more higher class scooters like Joyor versus zero ore wath ever brand that is a bit more higher level. Lets us say in the range up to 800 euro entry levels. Greetings and have a good Easter.
@benfox - I am blaming you for this years mid life crisis. Love the videos and energy you put in. If I see you in town i’ll buy you a Starbucks lol Only had a chance to play on the pro for a short while today but think I’m going to love it
I have taken both motors apart to fit a bigger copper bridge to allow a higher amp flow to give more torque and they both definitely have the same motor any distance is software witch obviously can be flashed. This makes them both the same speed but the pro has a better so will last much longer.
Thanks for the Video, although I think you put a bit too much effort on the comedy value. Giving yourself a lot more work filming and editing. A bit like Top Gear. But still great job. Thanks again.
Yest it was very useful video regarding changing to hard tyres, tie wraps is the answer along with long strong screwdriver used as leaver, also used versatile fairy liquid, didn't tell my wife.
Another great video and comparison test. What we need is your rating on all the scooters you have used - like top gear used to rate the cars by driving them and putting their lapspeed on the board.
After 6 months of use, my m365 has suffered a front inner-tube puncture, minor scratches on the front tyre & a rounded-off front Nut (damaged). Got it serviced at Xiaomi's Mi Store here in NZ & I'm not sure how much I have to pay for the tyre & inner tube replace service ($69 actually) until they notify me next working week. I'm keeping my eye on the brand new Ninebot ES MAX & the company who designed both of the ES2/ES4 & the Xiaomi m365 stated that this new model addressed the problems on the m365 & the ES4, anyway have you decided to pre-order one yet? Check this link out: www.indiegogo.com/projects/ninebot-max-ultimate-electric-scooter-by-segway#/
Got it back yesterday & gosh they did a wonderful job on replacing the front tyre! Yeah they noticed that I have damaged the nut that holds the front wheel hehe! Next time I know where to bring it for service.
Excellent vid! Thanks :) I got my M365 after doing my research, which included your vids, and I am very happy with it....apart from ONE thing. The punctures, and then trying to fit solid tyres! An absolute nightmare! I would probably buy the Pro if I could have solid tyres fitted as an option because, believe me, all you guys doing initial research, unless you have a fully kitted out workshop and a couple of mates, you do not want to be trying to fit solid tyres onto this thing. Yeah, thanks Ben. Love your work :)
Even with a drivers license it's illegal, unless it's insured and you have a numberplate, etc. It is probably impossible to ride them legally except on private land. I'd like to see the law changed so they're legal in bike lanes and 20mph roads. But then we'd probably need more bike lanes and 20mph roads (and for the latter to actually be enforced)
@@liamness That will be nice, unlike here in NZ the electric scooters are regarded as a low-powered vehicle, meaning that you don't need to require a drivers license to use one, and you can use it on the side of the road only if the e-scooter motor is rated up to 300w & doesn't block any pedestrians & cyclists along the way hehe!
@@Cactuspractice12 I think it is the same - there is no real legal framework allowing for their use on public land. Same with segways, hoverboards, etc
I'm in love with my m365 Pro, I plan to make babies with it. I love me scooty 😭🥵 PS: the folding mechanism has been improved on the Pro model, xiaomi said that on their website. 😌

Viennapal Good job! Yes know! Blizzare!
Can't wait to get mine.
I travel to work with bus and train
Have to walk around 10 minutes to the bus station and so it's going to be faster.
I like it!
It works well while you let go off the thumb-accelerator & regenerates upto 2-4% of the battery back within 10-15mins.
your video made me decide what to buy. thank you. from Philippines!
Very good report! Would be great if in the future you could also report kilometers. I had to convert first and I am certainly not alone ;-) Greetings from Germany
ah yes! good point! Danke :)
@@BenFox01 what was the range in the end?
Hi Ben, After watching your various e-scooter comparison videos, and determining the availability of the various scooters in Canada, I bought the Xiaomi M365 Pro. Then...I bought another Xiaomi Pro for my girlfriend's daughter for Christmas. And then I bought the Zero 9 and gave my girlfriend my Xiaomi. All in the course of about 3 weeks. I wish I could have bought the scooters through you for all the time you've spent putting your amazing videos together. Please keep up the good work.
Aw thank you Bruce! Im sure your Girlfriend and her daughter appreciate your generosity! And haha maybe one day! My pleasure 💪🏻
I feel so smart and educated, probably thanks to all the classical music?!
Hahah my fave 🎵Helps that its out of copyright!
My man! You are worth millions!
Thanks a lot for your video! I had fun.
You earned me!
Thanks Jesus! Appreciate your support!
The Ninebot ES2 has better build quality & is easier to fold down, plus has the option of an additional battery which increases top speed & range. (Also colourful lights underneath)
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For putting your review in miles instead of kilometers!
THANKS AGAIN!!!
borg386 Haha!!
WHAaaaaaaaT??? 😁
Just ordered my scooter about 3 weeks and it finally got here! whoop! I love this xiaomi 365 pro!!!
I bought them from first canary wharf
@@qhdevon43 Nice! They also reviewed the Xiaomi Pro as well. Have you seen their review yet?
I have a pro I bought during first lockdown and last month I used it and unboxed it for the first time..
a rider of a weight around 80kg I get about 22miles on a full charge and have about half a bar left
Gotta remember as the scooter gets older the battery decreases
2:50 he was jumping with the kickstand extended, yikes!
Get the m365 and just make a junction plug to connect an external battery pack. Can double the distance.
Can also mod it heavily and gain even more features like the screen and controller. Much cheaper than the Pro
Kugoo SI v your zoom stryder - because they might just be the same!
The very same comparison I'm waiting for. Will help me decide between the two!
Love the range, hate the fact that they did'nt bother address the issues from the old one (ones you metioned and spot welding battery faults)....
True True
You guys are so funny, dressed as mario and luigi killed me
I tested a zinc volt xt3 as they had it available in uk for 100 pounds and have to say on tarmac/concrete it actually goes at 15mph and works great .my problem its illegal in uk so can only use it in my garden just for fun .I have no concrete just lots of lawn thats mowed flat .It does move on it but not great not good enough i think the motor in that is 150 w and only one proper tyre on front.I need something much better .
U r a liar, i have 170 kg And drive 49 km. Asshole
Thanks Jo! Yes I do plan on a big premium scooter comparison at some point! Thanks for the comment 🐣
planning to get one soon. thanks for review, 👍
lowie silva 👌🏻👌🏻🛴
Great video, amazed you don't have loads more subs, good luck though i'm sure it's only a matter of time
Thanks man, Appreciate it
I got M365 Pro going 40 km/h on downhill.. :-) dont try that on unknown paths... .small tires cant handle any jumps on the road
@benfox - I am blaming you for this years mid life crisis. Love the videos and energy you put in. If I see you in town i’ll buy you a Starbucks lol
Only had a chance to play on the pro for a short while today but think I’m going to love it
😂 Deal!!
Excellent video. Love these vids
Cheers Adrian!💪🏼
I went to that pineapple place on a school trip once 😅😅
I have taken both motors apart to fit a bigger copper bridge to allow a higher amp flow to give more torque and they both definitely have the same motor any distance is software witch obviously can be flashed. This makes them both the same speed but the pro has a better so will last much longer.
Would love to see a comparison of the (2017?) e-twow against the 2019 Monster e-twow
Those drone shots🥰 nicely done edit
Thanks for the Video, although I think you put a bit too much effort on the comedy value. Giving yourself a lot more work filming and editing. A bit like Top Gear. But still great job. Thanks again.
Yest it was very useful video regarding changing to hard tyres, tie wraps is the answer along with long strong screwdriver used as leaver, also used versatile fairy liquid, didn't tell my wife.
Can you do a mod to make this pro faster?
The best review of Xiaomi mi365, Bravoooo
Never done more than 20 kilometers with my Xiaomi M365 !!! So I think with the Pro it will be more like 35 kilometers...
But my weight is 90 kg 😉🛴⚡️
You should be able to reach above 25km if your weight is some somewhere between 70 - 90kg.
gtone339 my weight is 48 kg is that good for the performance?
@@norinator6284 zbro im 45kg and i can easily do 55km on eco mode
Another great video and comparison test. What we need is your rating on all the scooters you have used - like top gear used to rate the cars by driving them and putting their lapspeed on the board.
Cheers Paul! Yes interesting idea..
Thanks :)
I got my M365 after doing my research, which included your vids, and I am very happy with it....apart from ONE thing.
Glad to help Steve!
This is how many times he said "Good job XIAOMI!"

Non pro makes more sense, lighter, less charging time, and still sufficient mileage for most commutes
the plastic rubber covering on the pro comes with magnet please do your research correctly before you inform the audience i will dislike this video.
I am literally impressed with the quality of this comparison video
That song need to be ya theme song for ya videos lol.
Nice review! Well done
I miss Carly☹️

Great video. Thank you from İstanbul Turkey.
Damm going to buy pro one :D

awesome vid .london is great .
i have the older version 365 and its also fun to ride .
zcreto Yeah man I love the little m365. The new one is surprisingly bigger!
Shame you need a regular drivers license to ride these in the UK
Not here in NZ hehe!
@@liamness Absolutely correct. Do you know the legal status of electric skateboards? Seems to be a bit of a grey area.
@@Cactuspractice12 I think it is the same - there is no real legal framework allowing for their use on public land. Same with segways, hoverboards, etc
Great review. I'm gonna order one to get me around the paddock on track days. Maybe I'll take it round the track.......
3:25 yeah sure... standing in that position in a crowded bus.
Excellent video. Very well made! Keep up the good work
Afnan Khokhar 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I'm in love with my m365 Pro, I plan to make babies with it.
I love me scooty 😭🥵
PS: the folding mechanism has been improved on the Pro model, xiaomi said that on their website. 😌
E1N LOL! 😅😅
Guess there will be Xiaomi Pro 2 then? 🤣🛴
@@gtone339 Yes there will be pro 2 coming out this year
@@enam9000 Heard it's around July. Soon the Xiaomi M365 1S will replace the original M365 this year.
Thank you for creating this video, im now decided to go for the pro version👍
Great review. Gj!
Just bought a Pro. I’m keeping it in my office in Chengdu for weekend fun and daily commute. I won’t be using one in the UK, too risky as it’s technically illegal. They are made in Chengdu by the way.
Ahh good plan! Yes there is always a risk but I see more and more scooters every day in the UK
Ben Fox seeing more is a problem. That’s the point at which the ‘public’ start complaining and the police go for the easy targets...
IJMO some people find offence with anyone that looks like they are having more fun than they are... I’m having lots of fun with mine. 50km since Sunday 😀.
