Plus 5th gen BMS too! Tyres are 3x more durable than previous models but that remains to be proven!! Love the fact that Xiaomi has included a Rear Fender support for the rear fender since the rear fender can be easily be broken and this prevents the underside cables that connects to the tail from snapping off due to contacts with the rear tyre! the M365 & the M365 Pro is plagued by it so yeah still have my 1+ yr old M365 Pro but now I added a rear fender support but I couldn't save my tail light thanks to the cables been chewed up by the rear tyre hehe! 😁🛴
I just picked up a strange 365 replica. It had fender support, a stainless M5 bolt above the folding mech instead of that little pin, a more detailed display with a waterproof cover, speed, trip, voltage, remaining battery and cruise control displayed on the screen, and a 320w motor. It's identical everywhere else to the original m365 minus a different brake light. On the point of waterproofing, it quite easy to do yourself with a basic sealant and hot glue, the first thing I did when I got it. It's been through some serious rain storms. I'd be interested to know what it is, who made it and what firmware/controller it has, because the display UI and app control is superior even to the pro strangely. I'm going to find out soon as I have made a custom 10.4ah 11s3p battery (41v vs 36v) and need to change the low and high voltage thresholds and the BMS. It could lead to a dead end.
Thank you very much for that review! I have been loving my original Xiaomi m365 that I bought to use here in the Philippines as my standard mode of transportation and haven't regretted it for a moment. I know it is not the best scooter out there, but certainly the best value for what I got and I agree that riding it feels like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers. There is just something "right" about the experience. I also made a video review of it on my channel recently and I can definitely recommend this one as well as the newer versions that they came out with. Just check what your actual needs are as far as the range goes and go with that!

Hello Ben, great and honest video as always. Fun too! Yes, it is sad that Xiaomi, after having released the "ultimate escooter compromise best buy for money Vs performances", the M365, is unable to reinvent it or, just really improve it where needed (folding bars, suspensions etc.) without increasing the price range. They should read our comments on youtube! Well my old Xiaomi M365 remains the best deal for me sor far. Best.
@@gtone339 they are pro at selling so they know what we want to hear don't they. tires there's no sell by date as such or destruction date as such just depends on how u use it. ive gone full speed into some obstacles like branches and such and still feel they good im not really scared of what i go over.

Haha Ben! Yeah they are both revised models from its predecessors but the visibility improvements are a welcome treat! Anyway, did you like the Brighter 2W headlights and the larger & brighter rear tail lights at all? Anyway, the rear cables right underneath the rear fender/mud guard is more protected now thanks to the added rear fender support & water-resistant covering material Xiaomi has added on the cables hehe! Glad the range is the same as the predecessors, maybe they are a little more efficient? Tyres should be more durable though according to XIaomi? 😁🛴
Still having changed the range test. Just charge to 100% then tape down the handle and put a camera on it with timer in the side. And do math, if it’s going 20miles per hour and last 5hrs that’s 100miles, it’s not realistic but easier lol
@@KayKapone1 so you are one of those people that make a mistake and say it someone else’s fault. I see... Don’t blame someone else. You would’ve known it was illegal if you just did you research. So don’t tell me to shut up if you made a mistake. The only one to blame is yourself🤡
Nice to see another video from you Mr Fox. Your review of the etwow still has me hooked but the GT is far too expensive at nearly 2K aud incl. Shipping with no reseller in Aus. The s2 is less than half the price, so may be going with that to compliment my trusty zero 8.
Hej! Im from Sweden, the only legal one is the xiaomi 1S, is it still worth it? Are they fun? Ive drove a ninebot es4 before wich was really fast but ilegal now.
Thanks for the video Ben! Hope you and your family are well. Missed seeing your entertaining creations. I have never been a fan of the Xiaomi scooters but respect that they got a lot of people into PEVs. I finally got my wife into riding electric scooters and picked her up an Inokim Light 2. It is expensive but it is ultra portable, much more compact, faster (21MPH), and far safer with the dual disc brakes. I was going to get her the E-Twow GT but I wanted a pneumatic tire scooter for my wife that could handle wet and moist conditions better than the E-Twow. She also uses my old E-Twow Boosters quite a bit to and likes them as well. They have thousands of miles on them and they just keep going.
What a Grrrreeaaat Husband! And good shout with dual disc brake! I wont make a joke about women drivers... I love the Etwow GT but safety first! especially for loved ones :)
Other improvements not included in the video: + Better front and tail light for visibility in the dark. (2W) + Tyres are 3x more durable. + 5th generation BMS for better management of battery and motor. So that means better lifespan. (Charge never reaches 12.800mAh on Pro 2 scooter for example, it cuts power earlier) I guess they made 1S and Pro 2 models especially for traffic restrictions and rules in Germany. I see you don't like Xiaomi scooters Ben, but if you review something, you should check every detail about the product.
Yes, they're called Ninebot E25 and the E45, which are in-fact the successor to the ninebot ES2/ES4 models. Best news about them is that they are puncture-proof (foam filled) 9"inch tyres which is between a solid and a air-filled tyre. Ben hasn't reviewed it yet but he will love it hehe!
Ben, I love your vids! They've helped inform me about my buying choices. BUT I have to ask you this because the scooters are quite small - what would you recommend for a 6'4 giant such as myself? Sorry if you've answered it elsewhere, I can't seem to find it if you have.
@@BenFox01 They all seem so small though it's like I have to be hunched over to ride. How bloody hard would it be to have an adjustable stem?! I know many of the hugely expensive ones have it but I want something cheap/good value >.
Thanks for the review! I've already bought 1s model this summer, it's really good, but thinking to switch to PRO 2, it's a bit bigger.. Maybe i'll better wait till new model comes :)
I just picked up a strange replica Xiaomi m365. I has a far nicer display with speed, battery, voltage, cruise control and odo dispayed, as well as 5, 15 and 25kph speed settings. Also has app control and a 320w motor. Looks identical everywhere else to the pro, but has the original 7.8ah battery. It came with a shock absorption pad in the folding mechanism, a fender support on the rear, and also has a proper M5 bolt all the way through above the folding mechanism instead of a little pin. I have no idea what it really is, or whether it uses the same controller and firmware. It now has 10" tyres, and I am in the process and assembling a 11s3p 10.5ah battery made out of Samsung 35q batteries. I suppose I'll find out soon whether it's using the same controller and similar firmware when I try and change the low and high voltage thresholds and remove the upper speed limit in sport mode. With 95kg rider weight and 10" tyres, it's not having much fun climbing right now. I'm hoping 40.5v nominal/46v max will make up for the 10" tyres, and losing 10kg will make me feel like a human.

Best.
Hahah they should indeed! I hope there watching!!!
the tires are improved for sure i was told that buy a scooter website they are different tires
Yes its 3x more durable than its predecessors. Only time will tell!
@@gtone339 they are pro at selling so they know what we want to hear don't they. tires there's no sell by date as such or destruction date as such just depends on how u use it. ive gone full speed into some obstacles like branches and such and still feel they good im not really scared of what i go over.
@@ashleybishton742 Its the psi and the weight of the user that impacts the tyre & tube as well. 😉
Excellent as always! I have an ES2 and ES4 but the kids seem to have claimed them! 😆 looking at the Pro 1 as it seems to compare to the ES4. Keen to know What Scooter you would go for under say £750?
Haha your kids have taken over! 🤔 Good question... Me personally, I would pay a bit more and get this (My Daily rider) bit.ly/365wFv0 (Discount code: GOELECTRICBEN)
@@BenFox01 thanks! Ordered with your link, I got £44.75 off with your code so 🤞🏽 you get something too. All the best.
@@SteveJulien 👏 👏 which way to the beach? 😄
How much will the battery last if I drove at maximum speed the whole time?
the ginger scooter bells are really nice, im not sure who makes them but its like a grip shifter bell.
that transition was amazing
Hi. (you asked people to just say hi)...
Great to see your investment in over-acting classes finally being put to good use. 😉😁
Great vid, as always. 👍👍
Haha Thanks Wiz!
I just loved your reviews, thanks bro.
Thanku dude
i am wanting a 1s and ive seen this video so i decided to watch it and it was really helpful
Which one do you recommend for UK weather and that is not bad on hills?
Pure air pro , xaomi pro/ pro 2 / 1S. Hiboy s2 pro ,aovo pro
I live in the uk
Really good comparison indeed, I'm going with the Pro 2 cuz here in UAE it's for 400 USD
Both scooters also got more powerful headlights and taillights
Lol.
Lol.
Very good video man! Loved your touch and your humor plus you gave me an idea of what I need to buy since its gonna be my first electric scooter!! Keep up that good job!
Awesome! Thank you!
Ben do you think I should get the xiaomi m365 or the 1S
M365 if you can get one cheaper!
I got stopped by the police when I was on my xiamo 1s 😭 they said it ain’t legal so I wasted my £400?
Everyone know it isn’t legal...
@@ik2107 not everyone knows how do they tell us? They don’t warn you before you buy it.
@@KayKapone1 it is your own responsibility to check if it’s legal in your country. Its your own fault
@@ik2107 not my fault what so ever. There’s a lot of people who use it in England. Anyways stfu
@@KayKapone1 so you are one of those people that make a mistake and say it someone else’s fault. I see... Don’t blame someone else. You would’ve known it was illegal if you just did you research. So don’t tell me to shut up if you made a mistake. The only one to blame is yourself🤡
Fantastic video Ben, if you keep that up you'll be the next James bond....villain
Haha! I can’t wait 😎 🔫
Nice to see another video from you Mr Fox. Your review of the etwow still has me hooked but the GT is far too expensive at nearly 2K aud incl. Shipping with no reseller in Aus. The s2 is less than half the price, so may be going with that to compliment my trusty zero 8.
Sounds good! Aint no GT but will do the job!
Hej! Im from Sweden, the only legal one is the xiaomi 1S, is it still worth it? Are they fun? Ive drove a ninebot es4 before wich was really fast but ilegal now.
Yes deffo! :) 🇸🇪 (p.S Check out my Sweden vlogs)
This was great, awesome review style! 👌
Cheers dude!
Oh I heard Ninebot has a new e scooter which is an actual jump from the E25/E45 series! Heard it may inherit some Ninebot Max features. 😉🛴
Do you ride in the fastest mode all the way in the real world test ?
Other improvements not included in the video:
+ Better front and tail light for visibility in the dark. (2W)
+ Tyres are 3x more durable.
+ 5th generation BMS for better management of battery and motor. So that means better lifespan. (Charge never reaches 12.800mAh on Pro 2 scooter for example, it cuts power earlier)
I guess they made 1S and Pro 2 models especially for traffic restrictions and rules in Germany.
I see you don't like Xiaomi scooters Ben, but if you review something, you should check every detail about the product.
Definitely unlock the 1S & the Pro 2 to break those restrictions. 😉🛴
@@gtone339 i did that as soon as i bought the product 😂

can Xioami 1s run on off road?

Great review, great energy! Keep up the vids! God bless 👊🏾🙏🏾
Thanks King! 🤴
Wish too see you review the Ninebot F40 and the Ninebot Air T15 (your ideal e-scooter) Ben hehe! 😁🛴
PLEASE I HAVE A QUESTION
CAN WE PUT XIAOMI M365 SEAT IN XIAOMI PRO 2 ????????????!!!!!!!!
Yes

Good content as usual😁 Please make a video on the more powerful off/road legal e scooters such as Kugoo Kirin M4 Pro✌🏻
Max load 100kg, time to hit the gym !
🤣🤣
Bennnnnn there gonna be a brand new segway max series coming soon and one of those scooters have suspention and range up to 34 miles
Stay safe, dude! I'm hoping that the scooters are actually made legal in the UK soon! Idiots on the rentals trials aren't doing us any favours!
Stay safe my Geordie Bro!
Hi! Nicely done!
Hope the next one will be Mercedes-Benz e-scooter...
Who knows!
Ya that should surprise Ben!!
Ben, I love your vids! They've helped inform me about my buying choices. BUT I have to ask you this because the scooters are quite small - what would you recommend for a 6'4 giant such as myself? Sorry if you've answered it elsewhere, I can't seem to find it if you have.
Hahah just get a bigger scooter!
@@BenFox01 They all seem so small though it's like I have to be hunched over to ride. How bloody hard would it be to have an adjustable stem?! I know many of the hugely expensive ones have it but I want something cheap/good value >.
I recommend on purchasing the Ninebot Max if that fits your size. 😁
I aint got any scooter and/or planning to buy one but i like watching this lad
Very entertaining review :D
Cheers Luke’s :)
Very good review and skit at the beginning of the video haha, just it's missing Carly's review otherwise it would be perfect 🥺😂
Hahah your right! Thanks! Hopefully see will make some cameo appearances after lockdown!
Thanks for the review! I've already bought 1s model this summer, it's really good, but thinking to switch to PRO 2, it's a bit bigger.. Maybe i'll better wait till new model comes :)
hmm This comment tripped me.. you bought this already ? after the review
@@granand still using 1S model, it's quite good and enough for me :) PRO 2 is a bit faster, but heavier
What do I have to do to get a free scooter
Thanks for honest review and hard work all the best to you mate ❤️
Cheers Marcin! Hope it helped!
Ben Fox ❤️
I want to bye one for my wife but just don’t know which one it’s good for the girls
Thanks again for a brilliant video Ben.
My Pleasure!
I think the tires are better more puncture prof right ????
That's what I heard yes but its still prone to punctures.
They already released the xiaomi scooter 3 which is the same as the 1s but more expensive than the Pro 2 😒
Pretty much the same as the Mi 1S but with better mechanical brakes and folding mech. Overall not a huge upgrade lol
new reflectors... "ooooo!"
Ye boil!
