bloody love this! is Stu the new stig? please get a white racing suit for next time 😎
Regarding the punctures on the XIAOMI MI PRO 2 I've been hearing good things about a product called "tyre slime" Its a green slimey liquid that you can inject into the inner tube and when you do get a puncture it is instantly sealed. I'd love to see you do a review.
After 2 years with the m365 all I can say is yep, you're right... but what actually works for me is the tubeless setup! Having the stock tyres filled up with a bike sealant compressed up to 5-6 bars is the way to go. Since then, no punctures... but I have to check my pressure frequently, otherwise the sealant could leak out from the sides and that would be messy.
Nice review.
I just bought the mi pro 2 from curry's price matched with Maplin from £550 to only £349 delivered. What are your thoughts on this scooter (my first one) at this price point?
Hi Stu great review of the Xiaomi pro 2 I decided to purchase the techtron ultra 5000 got a 500watt brushless motor at the rear top speed of 25mph via the app super for climbing 20 degree incline keep it up stu
Great reviews, I get it, fits a niche; would be interesting to see if you can ramp things up to more expensive/ big ticket items. A super yacht perhaps 🤔
He's got 60k subs, would be lucky if he could review a bass boat.
At this price class is the pro 2 worth it or is there any other scooters that you would recommend over it at the same price?
Thank you mate I needed to know and you seem confident.
Wow, the footage is quite stable. Nice scooter!
Awesome review on the Xiaomi Pro 2 Stu! Anyway, you forgot to mention the newly added reflectors on the front/side/back, proper rear fender support, plus the brighter 2W brighter headlight & tail light! I'm glad you prefer the FWD motor because some fans of the Ninebot Max prefer the RWD but I prefer the fwd since you can corner quicker! Anyway, the 8.5" inch tyres are more durable than previous Xiaomi e-scooter tyres! Good thing the Pro 2 is the 1st e-scooter you reviewed with a Lap time!
Perhaps one day Ben Fox might collab with you on a Top-Gear like lap time/race hehe!! 😁🛴
Have you ever thought of using puncture prevention fluid? It seems relatively cheap but I don't know if it works?
I had a flat tyre with the original m365 4 years ago, and decided to just go to a bike shop. Cost me around 15£ but I almost lost a finger when trying to repair it myself. 15 bucks for a fully functional finger was worth the investment.
Unfortunately 2 days later my m365 was stolen at the train station :(
Great video Stu ! Cheers from Belgium
£15 for a finger is a bargain! 😂. And I’m sorry to hear that! There are some utter scum around!
was it locked?
@@hdbeastgamer1074 Yes. Not with the hardest lock I have to admit. I wish airtags existed already back in the days :)
@@darkgilson is there a lock you'd recommend Francois? I am buying the pro2
@@heymanhaha not the one I had ahah. Keep in mind, if you see one at 15£ and another one which looks stronger at 25, go for it.
I haven’t bought another scooter since ( I bought a bike which was stolen as well… ), but be very careful, it’s very easy to steal apparently.
Enjoy your new scooter :)
Bought a ninebot max last year based largely on your review and it’s been great - so thanks for that.. The only issue is that it is very heavy so I was tempted by this one. But that puncture issue is a killer. Think I’ll keep lugging the ninebot upstairs until they’ve got it sorted.
back bumper broke on my max.
Could we please have a similar review of the Ninebot E45, it's competitor. There isn't many reviews on it out there at the moment.
hello my frind i test my pro 2 range and i do 26 km in sport mode its low range or no?
tyre change on the m365 is a total nightmare and needs spare tubes just in case you nick the tube in the process - which is very likely
Been there, done that and wish there was a t shirt to prove it! 😂
If someone changes the battery of the Xiaomi pro 2, does the charger input also change? Can someone answer me, pleeeeaaase? 😊
Can you let me know what scooter to buy I've only got £450
There's something off with the shadow whilst you go round the go kart track, it shows a selfie stick and camera attached to your scooter yet its not visible.
Magic 👌 ruclips.net/video/Qhoqj2awWJc/видео.html
I don't understand pounds, miles, but well channel is not international yet, I am happy that at one point there was km/h mentioned to give a good idea of speed.
Good video 👍❤️
Thank you 👍
You should try a Dualtron Mini. Much more stable with the BMX Handle Bar. 500w Motor to get up any hill and a lovely wide platform. If you where closer I would let you spin on mine
The offer is always appreciated. The dualtrons look insane, although I always felt the flagship one (thunder) looks a bit untidy! Hasn’t got the refined curves of some competitors. Review of the inokim ox super coming soon 👌
@@StusReviewsUK Yes some of the bigger Dualtrons are just bulky beasts, looking forward to the Inokim review
thank you i needed this right now
Let me know what you think of some of the new additions! 💚. Also Winner Winner - Chicken Dinner! 🍗👑
@@StusReviewsUK love it, it was very fun! Gonna buy that scooter in 2 weeks
and also I love your reviews because other channels just say the good sides but you say both good and bad.
i used zip tights and plastic clamps that i bought from the hardware store after battling for 2 nights just using those 3 flatheads on trying to put the new tire on the font wheel which resulted to a damage interior. . . moral lesson: use zips and clamps in changing those tires. . . i have a m365 pro by the way.
lets hope they pass the law soon to ride these! its mad that you can hire one but cant ride your own?? I hear they will make people get some insurance when they pass the law! also you can "over ride" the system to make it go 30mph BUT half the distance! great video mate.
Yeah it’s utterly ridiculous… let’s see what happens! Our government isn’t exactly the quickest to get things done these days 🤦♂️
How fast was eseries shipping about to order my self!
Hi, typically 2 working days!
Thanks!
Maybe a silly question but have people got some examples of what they use these for in the UK given public use ban.
A lot of people choose to use them anyway for short length commutes. They aren’t ‘banned’ per se, but are governed by a law written in the 1800s.
Xiaomi's website says the max engine output is 600w. Where'd you get the 300w figure from?
That’s max power output. The rated power is 300w. Check the full specs on there site and not just the overview;
www.mi.com/global/mi-electric-scooter-Pro2/specs/
The rated power is what the motor is designed to run at, the ‘max’ power is its theoretical capability, but will cause overheating as it’s not designed to run at the max power etc.
Semi false advertising I’m afraid.
@@StusReviewsUK Thanks, that’s helpful! Good review by the way.
@@romainvicta. cheers 🥃
not me wondering wtf that shadow extended from the scooter is 😂 took a while tbh...
range? or did i miss it..

I’ve been karting on that track. That bridge is class.
It’s going to take my head off one of these days… also good to see a local 👌
@@StusReviewsUK I don’t think it was ever designed for a giant on a scooter! (And not a local, from Preston. We were on a 30th bday family holiday.)
No this is true… 😂😂🛴
Is it actually illegal to ride this thing out and about (side streets main roads)? Just bought one myself and if its the case it might be getting sold 😞
Strictly speaking no… but it’s a law from the 1800s that stops you using it on the pavement! 😂 the government are running trials at the moment, with the idea of putting them into legal use. I know plenty of people who use them regardless however! 🛴🏴☠️
@@StusReviewsUK Thanks Stu. I think I understand and learned something new. Don't want the po-po chasing me down at 15 mph 🚨 Love the quality videos can't wait for the next one.
Buying one of these at the moment is a political hot potato, lots of the public hate them and lots love them and see them as the future. Id like to give one a go but i dont fancy risking points on my driving license to do it, the way the British public are going if we get them approved it will be mandatory to be insured, wear a helmet and go no faster than 12mph (Sucks the fun out of using one for me).
In Denmark they are fully legal, but only the 12 mph versions. But I have a scooter from an unknown brand going 20 mph. I just drove by the police today, they didn't even bat an eye, so depends where you like.
@@eden160eden This comment's a little late, but I imagined a Hollywood style police helicopter chase involving an electric scooter-mounted criminal blazing away at 15 mph after reading your comment
How to buy this scooter in us?

Outstanding voice… for narration in documentaries…👍
Sounds just like Jeremy Clarkson
@@6___________99_____________64 Which is Stu's nature! 😁
Long time no see 👀
@@StusReviewsUK HI Stu, how are you? Yeah been watching Ben Fox's channel lately 😃
I feel the max is still by far the better one i am also on the max weight so the stronger motor of the max is a plus
And the weight is a plus for me it feels a lot more stable because of it.
having rwd feels like a benefit while using regen braking down hill I don't feel like I'm going to flip forward.
built-in charger is nothing to ignore either.
The max is definitely still worth the additional price i mean a set of tires is already a hefty price if you get a flat and then swap it out.
But it's great nevertheless.
>Edited because my initial comment was an incoherent mess
Yeah agreed, the stronger motor helps heavier weights and the I build charger is ace! But if you don’t want the added cost, the mi pro 2 is a solid choice too 💪
Sticky where I live the Max model cost almost the double of the pro 2 and because of regulations its limited to 12 miles pr hour, plus I live in an apartment, so pro 2 is better buy for some nordic countries. I like the max though, when it is max unlocked 🔓😎
@@larsstougaard7097 i bought my max for 680€ the Xiaomi was cheapest at 499€ so 180€ difference made the max heavily outweigh cost benefits of not getting one.
Here both are capped at 25kph so that's respectable.
How does it compare to the m365 Pro?
Same range but the new Pro 2 has better Regen braking.
what's your height? handlebar seems to low
6ft8, so I’m a giant.
That looks like my pure mi scooter identical
Another Stu vid.....woohoo.
2nd
🥈! Trying to stick to 2 a week! 💚
They're quick compared to the S1 don't know why people want to go faster than the max
I can not see myself riding one of these scooters 😀😀
just shame not legal in uk yet to use on public roads
They will be eventually. Until then… 🛴💪🏴☠️
Yes be the rebel 😎
Does anyone feel a tit driving these? i'm toying with the idea but at 40 my Wife thinks i'll look an idiot.
I’m sure people looked like lunatics riding the first bike, or driving the first car. Everything is weird, until it isn’t.
Totally agree 💯 @@StusReviewsUK
I think 90% of these escooters are made for people 5´10" and under. Reviewer dude ´s height looks way out of range whereby the original Chinese engineer had intended his prototype for. I say prototype because everything made in China cannot be trusted. I made a quick first glance at the folding mech and I thought it sucked. Sure enough, it folded on me and caused a serious crash.
The pro2 did?..
The country of manufacture has very little to do with the quality. The company’s QC is what matters. I’ve had 4 Foxconn Chinese manufactured iPhones and not one has broken. Foxconn’s processes are world class. My parents Samsung TV broke twice, not made in China. My two Samsung phones broke, not made in China. My friends German made VW has cylinder head issues. My parents Australian made recliners broke within 2 years, but the Chinese made ones did not.
You sound like you’re from London.
DOSSER
Xiaomi is so amazing.
I went for the Pure Air Pro … 500W motor, 31 mile range and totally waterproof (not resistant like this) and 120KG weight limit. It costs more yes, but just one of these 4 USP’s make it worth the extra imo.

Good ol Xiaomi Pro 2! I still have mine for 3 years now and still run like a fresh new e-scooter 😊 🛴
I'm thinking of buying one brand new. Would you recommend it? My friend did and said parts were cheap..
@shanepatrick641 if that's your 1st entry-level e-scooter, then go for it. I get my spare parts from Temu whether my Pro 2 suffers from a puncture.
@@gtone339 ah sweet! I'll get it. Are the parts from Temu legit???
Can't seem to find it around where I live so I'll have to get my mate to get it for me..
