I have the mi3 it's the one to get I am gonna put a extra battery on it speed Hack it to 35 kph not 40 I won't lose range because I'm going to put a fairly big battery on the lower handlebar steam then I am going to put another motor on the back wheel I will get a twin speed controller I plan to get over 30 km in range and the hills will be no problem

They sell for 90€ at 80% discount for serviced units in local big retail, I picked one that had battery replaced w brand new one and they also give 6 month warranty, it's basically a sale of damaged or serviced goods. Drives perfect btw

Very useful review. That hill test: could you give it some 'kick assistance' to get you up the hill, like you do with e-pedal assist cycles? If it's not designed to 'free wheel' then I guess you couldn't, but be interested in your opinion.

Is the xiaomi comfortable on gravel or pavement ?
Not so much!!!
I brought a used Xiaomi S1 for $150 and it had punkture on 2 tires and some losend screws. I just need to buy 2 new tires for $15 and fix the screw then it's done! I just saved myself $400 by not buying the new one.
Good review thanks. In Australian dollars the 1s is now $470 so a good buy for a mid range scooter. Anyway I bought it for that price. Hills interesting. I weigh 64kg, and I went up a much steeper hill than the one you show that your scooter stopped at. My guess my Hill was 15 degrees.

Got scooter 449. Australian. Joined eBay plus and got $50 off. Then cancelled ebay plus no charge. Via ebay store if anybody wants the link. It is 499 on ebay store.. take off $50 voucher

EDIT: I just wanted to add I had already purchased on ebay but i saw it for cheaper on kogan and put in a best price guarantee request which was granted and got it for much less. so yeh check out kogan if you're looking.

With electric vehicles that is a common problem. Buy a tesla which says it’ll get u 500 km with full battery but u only manage 370km. Same thing…

it's not waterproof it's water-resistant you can ride it in the rain just be careful because it will be slippery and the LED screen is not waterproof and it's not water-resistant it can be easily damaged if it gets enough water over it so you need to protect that using a silicone Cover accessory !!!

Nice video man. Can you tell me if you go downhills will it automatically brake to 25kph or will it allow bigger speeds? Can you maybe just turn it off on the downhill and glide down without any power?
you can adjust it as you want using the app, but you can't make it turn itself off downhill, it's actually gain power back when you go downhill so it's win-win

@@samadtazbeer7596 i bought it on amazon and it came perfectly packaged with nothing damaged, but it doesnt have a warranty so if it gets damaged you have to pay for it yourself.

It's very variable, it depends on the weather cold or warm the road and the weight, I should make a video about that

One big lie about alleged 30 km range that Xiaomi claims, I am less than average built man, tyre pressure checked, riding in normal conditions and it hardly makes 12 km on a single charge. Stay away!!
