Duncan. A great review of a great e Scooter. I purchased mine after watching your first review with 'Hovis' and I dont regret it at all. I have got some of the accessories you recomended for mine and I must admit I put slime in my tyres before I even went out on it and so far its been fine. Keep up the good work mate and hopefully the government will see fit to allow all us private owners to be legal on the roads / paths soon.
Yeah i think there must be 'good' slime and 'Bad' slime because some of the pics ive seen look disgusting 😂 but plenty people swear by it. Im just super lucky ive never had a puncture yet. keeping those fingers crossed because when it happens i will be over it! Heres hoping after a few months of these trials we get accepted as adults who are capeable of not destroying civilisation with our e-scooters. :) Cheers David

It was deffo one of those edits that nearly made me scrap the whole video, Im like "Jeez i cant do anything with this it sounds trash" but yeah i just tweaked n fiddles with sound in premiere and eventually it sounded bareable/Listenable. Glad i stuck with it cos had pretty positive reactions to it *Phew Not easy to keep humping out vids like this when im a one man crew either. Great video! I'd recommend not taking your allen key with you and get some thread lock for those allen bolts to stop them backing out and becoming an issue!

Hi Duncan, great you’ve posted another video. I bought this scooter (pro) version after watching your last video and none others. I’m in london and for those worried about being stopped, police really have better things to worry about, so dont let that put off a purchase. It really is so much fun and a great way to get from A to B or even just explore areas of a city I’d not normally go to. I’m a 5ft female and it handles really well and i dont feel unsafe ever. This is a solid piece of kit. I haven’t managed the speed hack, which i think needs an android phone (don’t have) which is annoying as I’d love to go faster, so much so I’m thinking of upgrading to a new model. Thanks again for the great video and really hard work in getting it out. It did sound like your computer was buckling at the seams, so im really grateful you spend time making these for us. I started off with the 365 just over a year ago, absolutely brilliant scooter but was sick of getting flat tyres. Upgraded to the Zero 10x and probably the best thing I ever did! Keep up the good work Duncan, might see you out and about on your scooter as I'm just along the road in Wallsend.

@@SlammDunkProductions I mainly use it for commuting to and from work but when I feel like taking it for a blast I normally stick to the wagon ways around here. So far touch wood the police have been no problem, probably seen about 5 on different occasions and they dont look twice. I do wear a full face motorbike helmet and mostly stick to about 20mph.

10" wheels is something i been thinking about doing but i had to draw the line at the suspension because i doubt i will be able to hold onto this scooter for much longer. I really want to try out a couple of other Electric Vehicles but i dont have the space to keep everything. (is the short version) if i thought id have this long term past next year...for sure 10" wheels i hear that 😁 p.s. i am also curious if you can combine 10" wheels with V2 suspension? im gonna go investigate now ✌

I would say yes. Althought not rated as 100% waterproof, it is considered 'splashproof' and i have done a lot of wet riding with this scooter and had no problems at all. Thanks a lot Archie 🙏♥
Great follow up video. Ticked all the boxes. Be interesting to see how the suspension holds up in a month or two. Also you should check out the cst tyres and tubes much better grip than the stock.
Yeah i think so...its the last obvious thing to do now (apart from maybe battery extension) Im just gonna wait to see just how long these tyres last...I do a lot of woodland/Gravel so it can only be a matter of time before puncture then im gonna see about something funy for wheels. @@SlammDunkProductions yeah. I've just done the battery extension over the weekend with the covid carry in I just can't face public transport to work in a busy hospital all day. So the battery ext makes sense.

I loved your video. I watched more than 10 video reviews before I bought my first escooter a few hrs ago. I also made a video to send to my mum and I totally get you when it takes a lot of hours and patience to edit to make a few minutes production. Not to mention the needed skills and creativity. I love your edit and this is exactly what I need since you already put a lot of experience in using your escooter. Pls ignore those people commenting on your accent, obviously that’s the only language they know, so they don’t know what they are talking about. I also speak more than 3 languages and English is not my primary. I actually like your accent, makes me feel like watching a Harry Potter series, which is cool. I love the scenes and shots. Unlocked it will do 19mph. which is just perfect for commuting in my opinion. If im being totally honest though you should go for something like the HIBOY S2 pro instead. its the same price, it newer and it will do 20mph out of the box! 👍 appreciate the sub and feedback mate, thank you! 🙏
I don't think that escoot is available here. I also would like to install the suspension which is cool and there's also rear suspension for m365. Anyway, hope to see your next video soon mate👍

yes they are bloody nice them ive just been looking again. So tempting because an upgrade for me is very imminent. Once i upload my Suspension fitting Video Im all out of ideas for M365 videos so need to move on. i dont have a large place so whatever Personal EV i get i am gonna have to say goodbye the Xiaomi.
@@SlammDunkProductions definitely a lot of accessories for the Zero 10x. Expensive to buy locally but if you are happy to wait a month or two you can get one half the price. Can't say the wait was enjoyable but saved quite a bit as a result

Hi Duncan great video well done mate. Like the comment below I bought my Pro after watching your video with hovis. I love mine and I've done a lot of mods to it including the suspension, foot board, extra battery etc. I've 958 miles since lock down began! How many miles have you clocked up on yours now? And man I winced with you on the beach! Sand and salt water on your scooter man??. No way!
Here it does well on the beach (hard sand only of course) but yeah i hear you i understand. thankfully the wife is very good at cleaning she always make my scooter showroom condition after my ventures god bless her 😆 I think i am approaching about 750 miles distace on my Scooter. but it took me a year to get that. Much respect for your distance during covid....It always bloody freezing and windy here so i dont get out as much as i want. what footboard you get? like a Berry boad?? I seriously considering the extra battery but not super confident about it. am scared its a little beyond my expertise!? 🙄

You are lucky you wife cleans the scoot! At the time of buying a board, berry boards didn't have many in stock that I liked. I hooked up with Meison Boards (Spain) he's mates with Berry Boards owner they used to work together or something. So I bought a board from Meison Boards which is Darth Vader themed, and I love it. Same price as berry boards plus the postage from Spain arrrgh!!

@@SlammDunkProductions yeah Berry boards do loads of custom stuff now which is ideal as they are UK based. At the time I bought they were pretty bland and just doing the odd pattern which isn't what I wanted. Meison Boards were showing some cool custom designs on their fb page so I messaged them for a vader design and they came up trumps.

@@SlammDunkProductions hey dude, well ive since seen your video with the accident and mine wasn't as bad as that but it took a good few months to get to a point where i could do anything useful with it... full movement never returned..cant reach up my back but other than that its sweet now. Having said all that i was back on motorbikes before the stitches had even healed 😅. Just make sure you do your physio exercises it helps massively 💪

haha cheers mate! 🙏 Yeah ive had no issues at all in the rain. As you can see it will even cope with the beach (to an extent). The only thing i would say is wet mud/gravel is dangerous as hell, especially when going round a bend, but as for wate/rain damage its copes very well and ive had it very wet before. its is waterproof/splashproof to a degree. Put a a bit of plastic bag in the stem worked for me. I’ve had no screw issues, I recommend solid tires I have the ones with lots of ribs on the inside had no loss of speed pain to put on ( use microwave) but now no worries about blowing a tube ride quality is fine, green slime is shit don’t bother failed 3 times on me . Get the brace for mud guard I’ve snapped 2 guards pretty quick, without it water will flick up your back.
Some solid advice there i really appreciate you leaving it here in the comments. Can i ask....how did you actually break your mudguards...twice? Everytime i see them wobble bad im like "urgh...not today please" Cheers Brendon 👍
SlammDunk Productions just bad luck I guess. I prob got 5 or 600 Km it before the first one went and the second one lasted a month. I was like you...nah don’t need the brace the guard she looks good looks flexible enough then snap on the way to work twice, guess I ride it to hard. I now just have the wires taped up and forgo one. Same with tires 450km no flat then one went and copped a string of them. Front tire is an hour plus job for a novice and a huge pain wrestling the tire on and off. Pro tip get motorcycle tire leavers makes it heaps easier, popped a few tubes just putting the tire back on. Now solids and no issues run over glass without a care in the world. Now just looking for a decent speed hack.

After watching your video’s I took the plunge last week and bought the pro 2 and just hacked it today I’m now getting 17mph.
Do you think this is the max you can get or can it be hacked higher?

Not sure with the Pro 2 mate but 17mph could be right depending on weight. My Pro hacked will do 19mph/31kph but I'm a really skinny guy. I weight about 11 stone.....just out of curiousity, what method did you use to unlock the speed??
I tried loading the app on my iPhone but with limited options on screen so decided to load the app on a friend’s android phone then transferred the high speed program and the standard program into his phone
Linked his phone to the scooter and transferred the bin (file)
If I lift the wheel off the ground and spin it I get 20mph but 16-17mph while riding it.
It’s probably just my 15stone weight lol
@@chrismcconkey1919 yeah only works with Android for some reason, the app for iPhone do es not work for this hacking. It's a shame you can't get full 19mph but like you said it could be the weight. I know when the wife and I ride together it goes pretty slow compared to just riding by myself.

@@Stinger-bz9od yes the Pro is 'Splash' resistant, but not fully waterproof. Ive ridden it in the wet very often and ive had no issues at all. 👍

How do you mean?....I have a wife, she uses a cloth with some water/soapy water....No issues so far. Also its IP54 water resistant right? id have no issues using a Jet wash on it 😁 ......Appreciate the feedback, sorry if i cant be of more use. Good luck with the cleaning ❤

I dont know. but i wouldnt risk it because this hack would break the Original Xiaomi 1 as the Xiaomi 1 does not have the same power as a pro (weaker motor and no speed limiter to remove) Be careful with it mate, dont break your new scooter ✌
