This magic happens when we have real intrinsic motivation in the things we do. We're not just working for profit. The work is part of the wages, the joy!

Nah… tasted a few breeds of durian from the far east and Southeast Asia mostly but varieties wise are from the Thai well known 7-8 breeds in general. So far for us = let’s say the best taste breed have to be from Thailand. Their texture differences playing on your tongue, the mild pleasant fragrance as well as the balance in sweetness together with the looks appeal definitely- thumb up 👍 to perfect.
Musan king is nice and soft, silky smooth just like the Thai Mohn tong but without the crunchiness and sometimes can get to thickly because the sugar in Malay durian are mostly on the way of turning into sour rum from over ripened before eating. While the small red indo is strong in fragrant however the taste from its orange of red meat doesn’t do much and more of a cream fat like - in flavor. As for Vietnam we even tasted the bittersweet, that is nowhere near as sweet as Thai or Malay. May be they opened up the fruit for consumption too early or too much chemical and drier in texture.
Must say puyat from the Philippine is not at all bad and only mushier in taste but then again it could have been for the same over ripen reasons. Note that the island grows Filipino durian is strong in smell and for this pungent reason - it might not be for people with sensitive senses of smell. We have only scratched the surface in durian world and are quite excited to taste durian yunan - grows from China which we will definitely keep an eyes out when visiting northern province Chong Ching next year, just in case we do get lucky.
One thing for sure = durian is king of fruit, mangosteen is queen and then there are loads more of princes and princesses like sapodilla, rambutans, marian plum, custard apples & loads more of unseen and unheard fruits coming new for lack off westerners people like us who think KiWi and pineapple is the most exotic fruits we can get. 😅
❤ ritually can’t wait to go back, just love all the food from region of Southeast Asia
