      @@parrotbrand2782 erm economy is not good with retrenchment everywhere it would be lesser ppl to spend money on these luxurious fruits also I know there is online purchase but it wouldn’t be as nice as the usual way where you just need to be at the stall to purchase I heard from friends where they still prefer to purchase it offline at the stall… purchasing durian online still not a trend for now…

    This is very educational indeed , exploring the many variety of Malaysian durians! The Guru is very knowledgable & articulate , now we know that , Red Prawn durians are actually not that red but more deeper yellow/orangy in colour! We normally bought the Mao Shang Wang in opened & packaged convenient form during the busy peak season period , because they're cheaper & fresher! Thank You So Much for the insightful tutorial! 🌷🌿🌍

      This is singapore durian, not malaysia durian. Singapore durian has more quality than malaysia durian.

      XO is Strong, intense, deep and full of character.
      No offence to MSW lovers but most of MSW are just very sweet, creamy and fleshy without dimension, lacking depth and little complexity of flavour. Its popular, plain and boring.

      @@jinkaing3538 i have eaten at least 7 boxes of pahang msw over the past month. I would say it is my 2nd favourite next to XO. Both are very good to my palate. Alot of young people and especially women prefer sweeter durian.

    For me i don't go for those expensive ones. If you know how to choose, you would be able to find gems in those self choose each for $5 ones. Most important, you should feel contents in the durian move when shaking the durian and (if possible to smell) the smell from the husk should not be pungent.
    Tip: It helps to bring thick gloves before heading down to the store to aid your "durian shake" check.

      Musang is a malay word derived from the chinese Mao Shan meaning fox. Wang is chinese for King.

    One latest update is that 12 hectares of Musang King Durian in Raub, Pahang was cleared by the local government as it was deemed grown on illegal land... and they decided to take action... during the durian season and during the pandemic... seriously... what are the priorities...

    Chinese when live in other country still cannot speak fluent English as Singapore's mother tongue... Even in Malaysia Chinese are the same cannot speak Malay as the mother tongue perfectly. Only a handful can speak good. Except for Chinese Indonesia can speak Indonesian language very fluently that's the truest Indonesian for me. You not live in China anymore. Learn to speak good.
