Nice. I just bought 1 already lifted. They put new tires on it but they rub. 37.12.5 17s on it. Hard to turn. My question is how do i know what lift is on it?? I need sway bar links cause they look stock which can be unsafe. So i will replace them sonce they are bad but i need to know the lift i have.
if you’re running 37s it could possibly be a 6 or 8 inch lift. if you’re unsure about certain parts or if the job was done correctly i’d have a lift shop look it over or have someone that knows what to look for look at it and they can tell you if you need anything new for it and stuff like that.
Nice excursion bro! Can’t wait to see the rest of the plans you have for the truck! Btw happy bday (sorry for having to edit this comment just to do that lol)
@DragsterTv, do you think there will be any rubbing with 37x13.5x22 tires on 22x12 -44 offset wheels on an Excursion with a 6” Super Duty Rough country lift kit. Debating whether I should go with the 8” RC lift kit or the 6”. Thanks
if you’re going to run those tires, id go with an 8 inch lift. that’s just me personally. if it’s a 6 inch superduty lift going on an excursion it’ll lift it 8 inches so maybe go with that.
@@DragsterTV I did the 6.0 headlights this past weekend, what a difference! I recommend you use a masonry grinding disc on an angle grinder to cut the fiberglass header panel, no need for a dremel.

Happy birthday dude! Hope you have a blast with that monster!
Happy birthday bro I plan to start working on my truck soon nice excursion
Did you have to install a new trackbar or any other steering suspension parts for the lift?
Yes.
Most lift kits you buy for it come with everything you need. I reccomend buying a kit and not just part by part but thats just my opinion.
Happy early birthday
