You put the "ac" right on the fan and were surprised the thermostat dropped in temperature
Thank you for this video! I was actually looking for a product that helps with extremely dry weather! Great video keep it up!
Exactly what I need for my small pachinko parlor
That's not an ac at all, it's a wet fan. It's impossible to cool air without purging hot air outside, this doesn't have anything to evacuate hot air. It might feel cold but the hot air has to go somewhere. I don't think this could even cool down a room, only give the feeling that it does, especially in humid weather.
The temperature balances out u don’t need to purge hot air, it’s just more inefficient to cool air without displacing hot air.
@@skills167 Just because a certain area of a room feels colder doesn't mean the overall temperature of that room went down. You could put a hundred of these in a room and the temperature would stay the same, trust me.
Cold is a made up term by humans, in the real world there exist only hot, and less hot.
You can't add cold to something, only remove heat. So you need to purge hot air, otherwise you cannot physically cool down a room.
Even your refrigerator is heating up your house right now, becaue it is constantly purging hot air out to keep itself cold.
@@skills167 Im a hvac tech she’s right and tbh down 11 degrees in 12 minutes? cmon now🤣
@LeViIain The question is, does the even matter if you're only sitting/lying down in one spot when occupying that room? If the answer is no then who cares
Awesome. Thanks a million!
Dude, I have a similar mist fan. It'll definitely make you feel cool if you're like a foot or two away from it but this thing won't make a room go from 80 to 69 degrees. Of course if you put the mist fan directly in front of it the temperature gauge is going to show how cold the mist is making the temp gauge but it doesn't mean the room is the same temperature.
Yeah he's blowing it directly on the fan lol. Can't knock the hustle though.
Do they have dual voltage from 110volt to 250volt?
How long battery
Don’t use the mist in the RV or you will mold issues thinking of using in a screen in deck
Live in SW would work great
Which one is better this one or the cheerm portable air condition? Whch cools the room down more? Looking to get one for my room.
Where do you plug it
I'm in New England area, I wish this would work for me but the humidity is nearly 60 and we have to use a dehumidifier to keep it low T.T its 83 degrees in the room so unbearable.
Does ut work without the mist?
Thank you!
is it plug or battery ?
Totally trying to miss lead you giving the impression it cools the whole room while he puts the personal space cooler directly in-front of and blowing on the thermostat come on now like we’re all going to fall for that hey guys
the first product - does it blowes COOL air or air only ?
Very informative video. Also where did you get your glasses from? :D
ConsumerTechReview which model? 🙃
Does this needs to plug in ?
yeah it cooled down cause you have it blowing on it . so that is deceptive
The link you provided for the first product you demonstrated is no longer available by any chance do you know the name of the product?
Do you think two of these would work mounted to a racecars dashboard?
This is what I’m here to find something to cool the inside of my 64
Awesome video bro ima buy both
Could this work in a forklift
What about the begleri fan on amazon??
id like to find a unit that will regulate temp for a year or turn on and off for like 2 hours at a time
How does this compare to the auzkin portable cooler you did a review on? I’m debating between the 2
I want to know too!
Where's the link for the ac
Great review! New sub 😊👍
I need one ☝️ to place right in front of me for my recording studio. I need it to be totally quiet 🤫 so it does make any noise on my mic 🎙. I have a window AC unit and is too low so I have to turn it off to record vocals. Will this portable AC product be great in my studio with no sound?
@Bobby Washington Vlog - Unfortunately you won't be able to run any type of air conditioner or fans in your studio while recording with microphones. High end recording studios have airflow systems to keep the studio space cool or warm, with little to no noise. But your best bet is to simply run your air conditioner for a while and cool your studio down, then turn it off and record vocals, then take a break and run the AC again to cool the room down, etc.....That's what I have to do if recording in the summer. It's not ideal, but for those of us recording in less than ideal rooms and studios it's about all we can do! Best of luck to you there.
@@IKARIANOFFICIAL thank you 🙏
This is currently on sale for $23 after 50% off coupon. I'm dubious about this working especially in 110 degree weather but I guess it's worth a shot. I hope I don't have to return it after 1 day like another swamp cooler I bought.
How did it turn out
Yeah howd it go
Please return it it’s junk it a time swamp coller
Can you get back to us on it
Sorry but when I tried to buy it, price jumped back up and it's no longer available. I bought something similar and it'll cool if you fill it with ice and sit within 3 feet of it as long as temp isn't over 95. Is it worth it? Probably not since temp here is 100-115 in Summer and only a/c or large swamp cooler will cool.
Do you have any recommendations for a similar product that will charge and work in a power outtage? I live in Palm Springs and the electricity went out for an hour the other day and it was 110 out. I feel like I should get prepared for the next time it happens. 🤔😫
I would probably recommend getting like a portable jump starter that can plug a power cord into it for example "everstart 1200 peak amp jump starter" it's good for emergencies in a car and if you need to plug something in real quick to say charge a phone or something it has that availability, hope that somewhat helps
I can help with solar, that will keep you up and running with our solar batteries attached.
@@theenforcer23 HellOOOO, Need USB recargeable.
I bought the artic air on amazon last year after just a month it leaked all over. It was 144.00 if you buy any cooling unit keep the box. It odd a great job till it leaked very bad. I have an air conditioner that i use to at night
Incredible
Who paid this guy for this? He doesn't even lie well
He was very adimate about how pretty it was... 😒
Usually the room where I watch movies get really hot in the summer and I want something to make it colder, do you recommend this for a medium room?
Its not meant to cool a room. He had the temperature reader right in front of the moist cool wind so thats why it gave that reading. I had an Evapolar cooler (a $100 mini swamp cooler) a friend gave me and I used it (with an arctic cooler pad) and it could not cool a room (10 by 15 feet room). Swamp coolers and misting fans raise the relative humidity and require dry air to cause evaporation of water. When used in a closed room, they will increase the humidity until they are ineffective.
If you live in a dryer climate (30% RH) then I recommend a larger swamp cooler. If you live in an area with 40% - 60% RH, then an window AC would be ideal.
@@michaelalcala6087 All right info. Thanx.
Michael Alcala thx
Umm is the link to air conditioner right?? It doesn’t look like same model.
Could you use it in the car?
I'm in NC. It's humid here. I really wanted a portable a.c. for the garage. Just because I smoke in there. A fan at 75 degrees won't do the trick. Any recommendations?
portable ac with exhaust.
its difficult to cool a room without exhaust!! lol
He doesn’t answer any of the comments about the questionable test conditions smh
Anyone know what would be best for Austin Texas?
Im in San Antonio had the same question
Full out a/c Texas is hot as hell. I can't walk outside without the risk of 109 heat strokes
Any idea why this cannot be shipped to Calif?
It can't?
Which do you recommend if I live in Texas?
Get a Carrier 18,000 btu unit
I recommend me baby I can cool you down
They don't work in areas where relative humidity tends to be high. If you live in Houston for instance, forget about it. I live in Albuquerque, NM where it;s really dry. We use a similar evaporative cooling system to cool the whole house. The fellow on the vid did mention this.
@@johnsteiner2204 Isn't that what you guys call a swamp cooler In Miami this will not work
@@REDRUMRum lol what?
I ordered the tower fan you think I should also get the small air conditioner fan as well?
ConsumerTechReview ok thank you also I have a gaming setup and my pc tends to get a bit hot would u recommend I put the huge fan close by or just get the small air conditioning one just for that
It’s 80 it’s so hot…..I think you have a problem that a fan can’t fix it might be that you have something that starts with a V somewhere in your nether region.
How many hours does the tank last from your experience?
lmaoooo. this guy just wants the amazon money through his link.
It's miniscule money.
Your so underrated please keep positing more of these
Is it wireless does it have a rechargeable battery I need to use it in my car there's no ac
Google the product... Check it on Amazon. They have personal reviews
Bro same I bought a 1992 Miata and have no A/C😔
@@slw.2gr fix it, miatas have so many spare parts and after market replacements due to their popularity

Excuse me does anyone know how to clean the fan. Im not talking about the water tank. The fan when it gets dusty. I look at the instructions i couldn't find anything. Can someone help me please?
Did you figure it out?
I don't have this product but in general my best suggestion would be to atleast wipe the excess dust off the vents using dry cotton swabs. Then wipe follow up using something sanitary like alcohol on a cotton swab. There should be a way to open it all the way to get to the fan blades itself for thorough cleaning. If not that's a big design flaw. Good luck!
the link doesn't bring us to this air cooler anymore and you fail to mention the name of the product!
Is this better than the $40 one you reviewed???
@@ConsumerTechReview why?
@@SMoore2Love shrek meme: good question.
Is it better????
do this again with humidity level
That fan will keep the place cooler than a portable A.C. in Florida ? Wow
uh.....don't think so. A/C removes humidity in the house when it is on. One of these should work in Florida just fine. Had heard the same thing about evaporative cooling vests not working in Florida for motorcyclists. They work just fine even in our high humidity.
@@PappyfromtheKeys thx
Better review than those 1+ millions sub channels

A fan better than an ac?
I am bummed. Neither are available with the links.
I swore I just watched a video with this dude and another portable ac with a link to one on Amazon with horrible reviews. His comments on that video was turned off. I can’t trust him.
So it would be awesome for my car then?
I was wondering the same. But the one showing on Amazon says it doesn’t deliver to my area. Northern California.
It’s cool but it does not cool down a room that is a lie you have the small unit blowing completely at the black fan standing. Now you wanna do a good text put the unit on one side of the small bedroom and place the fan that has temp on the other side of the room then come back with real results. I have this fan and it’s no good ! Only for closet side room !
I live in Louisiana so it's extremely humid here. Why do you say this wouldn't work here?
It only works when you blow directly at a person or the thermometer. It wouldn’t work in Louisiana because it won’t hold up to real expectations
Where can i buy
Amazon, theres a link in the description
would you recommend this one or the $40 one you reviewed?
same question
DIY fan cooler ac. Much better
I have a half master wood floor bedroom & it’s like a 100 in here which should i get , like which do u think will cool the whole room down?
ConsumerTechReview appreciate it i just ordered
So did the tower fan work?
TOPBOSSJAMES yup
Please review slowly and seen work products in detail,, Love from India
The description is not even the product bro
Hard-water buildup and now my fog quit coming out
Would the water damage my pc? 🤔
Duh
Not a air conditioner. This is basically, a mister with a blower. Almost an evaporative cooler.
I put my thermometer in the freezer, but my room is still hot bro.
You’re link for AC is wrong.
Dude I clicked on the link for the fan and, it shows a totality different fan. Nothing like the one you are reviewing in this vedio. Also, the temperature dropped by 11 degrees because the fan was blowing directly on the thermostat on the tower fan. This is not an accurate room temperature reading.
I deadass wish more people knew about you,ur ode under rated bro good ass vids ,mad informational, very detailed and accurate
The amazon link in the discription does not bring you to the air conditioner fan you are reviewing. Either you have a different fan or amazon is not showing the same thing that you are reviewing. Which ever it is it should be fixed or cleared up for the viewers. You are showing a black fan the is round at the top with a square shaped box on the bottom that holds water. The one on amazon is just a blue or white box shaped fan. As someone looking to purchase what you are reviewing the 2 air conditioning fans look to different for me to go through with a purchase. Perhaps include the exact name of the round black air conditioning fan in your video so those of us who want one can be sure we are buying the correct one on amazon.
Does this make the area around it wet? Like with the mist?
No. The vapor will apply make the room humid
@Danielle Elizabeth so how did it go
Hate how these manufacturers label these AIR CONDITIONERS when they take water curtains as part of the cooling process. These are simply tabletop EVAPORATIVE COOLERS, meaning as the air gets pushed over the water curtains it's evaporating and cooling that pushed air. So yes if you live in an already humid state mostly on the east coast you are NOT going to want one of these. Extra moisture in the air will only make YOU LESS comfortable. You need to dehumidify.
I'm hoping for simple clarity ....🐰🐰
1:04 😂😂💀 no bro.. not how that works
It is what it is..a misting fan.
If you used it without water for no humidifying, you'd get no cooling either.
Hey if you live in FLORIDA and even have a brand new 3.5 ton central ac its still hot here. These are GREAT! Let it blow in my face as long as Im not sweating my ass off IDGAF.....they work surprisingly...I got a cheaper one than this 33 bucks off Amazon
Include the model number of the products you review
So it is not an air conditioner
This is not a portable air conditioner. It is a misting fan.
How much does this cool compared to the $40 Portable Air Conditioner review that you did? And is the Tower Fan that much superior to cooling a room in a tropical environment over both the $40 and $50 Portable Air Conditioners that you reviewed.
“i’m like sweaty it’s so hot” - yes you are
Anyone try this?
82 minus 61 is ? 20 degree's not 10 ?
Sold out already 😥
Totally bogus!
Can I use this in a Car??
