People if your room is hot, it’s not too shabby. I have a tiny one I got from Aldis store and believe it or not, it works pretty good … it blows out some pretty good cool air and I don’t even use cold water. So if something that small is pretty good, I think one this size would be terrific!!!! So basically these things are good if you are in a room and sitting right next to it. You get some pretty good cool air blowing out at ya. When you’re that hot, you’ll take any little shot of cool air. Trust me!!!! But you gotta be sitting right next to it. (That’s the key) because it’s not like an air conditioner. It’s not a useless fan that just blows out warm air either.
Yeah that's the best explanation l heard. This unit only compliments with using a real air conditioner. It doesn't work good at all. Sometimes it lowers the temperature of one or two degrees all the time and raise the temperature.. remember humidity raises temperature right.. and this little unit runs on water dripping down a cloth filter so that means it puts water into the room.. this be only great for the winter time when you have dry heat. So if you expect this unit to cool use off?? forget about it, your just going to sweat more
To be honest it’s not like AC u will have to keep feeding ice cubes every 30 min and also depends on your room size ! I only used it twice it’s ok not brilliant!
I've just bought this and the fan doesn't seem to work. It's not noisey at all. It says something about the mode not working if it is in silent status? There is no button for that so I'm not sure what that means. Any idea?
thks i try to make my quick reviews as real as possible so everyone knows its something i believe in. or not. dont forget to like and subscribe and share
Hey great review, I live in an apartment where my landlord doesn't want to replace the a.c unit because it's very old. I was thinking of purchasing this but is it good like temporary solution? Because I'm living thru celling fan and a tower fan.
These are called swamp coolers been around forever They work great in low humidity When the humidity starts to rise it becomes more and more useless . Never replace real ac but depending in the person and their expectations it serves very well .
This unit won't work in a place like NYC where there is high humidity. Anything over 50% humidity will greatly decrease the effectiveness. If you are in a dryer climate like California or Arizona... Go for it. 👍
If you buy some sunproof curtains at Walmart they're two pairs for $25 the sun won't come in as much in your house for staying nice and cool and this air conditioner will automatically work better
@@stop-zs7gq Nice tip. Thanks. But I'm in NYC where the humidity levels can reach 100% or higher even on a cooler day. I don't know how much that will help on the really brutal days but I will definitely consider that. Much appreciated. 👍
Its not fun I struggled at first then got it. Use the wrench tool they provided and insert the wheel at the bottom in the hole provided. My manual said to insert the brakes towards the back.
It's best use is for a smaller space like a personal space like a room. But it can be use like that I mostly use this cooler for my office but there is times it was used to cool down my living room too.
I used to have two of these things and they are a complete waste of time and money! I now have an Argo Orion 9,000 btu. Still not the best, compared to a full ac unit but as far as a portable ac unit is concerned, much more practical than those water/ice cube machines.
It's not a air conditioner it's a cooler it's a good cooler but if you have air conditioner in your house or apartment it helps with the cooler to blow a little colder
U showed us the machine etc and that took the whole video but u only talked about it cooling u down for a few secs I wish u would of said more about it cooling u down and the temp etc
Thanks dude for the review but I am not gonna buy one. Listed on Amazon Canada for 500 canadian dollars. That seems way too much for this device. If it were 150 it would be much more tempting. There are only about 20 days each year that this thing would really be needed. I do hate those 20 days of inescapable heat though
You still have to plug it in & "It *compliments an air conditioner"? Guess it means you still have to use your air conditioner. Fancy wording makes me skeptical
@@DointimeonEarth Yes, its a compliment. In a bedroom, you can turn the AC up to 79-80 during the summer and run this in a small space. For people who live in the West, with low humidity, it works well. This wont work in humid areas.

Do I put water inside the ice boxes or do I leave them in the freezer by themselves???
how to put crownline ac-225 cooler in fan mode?
Is this really any better than a simple fan complimenting and AC?

how about 7 liter tank not 7 gallons!
GREAT VIDEO... THANK YOU.
How to clean
Damn what a solid unit
Is the container where ur supposed to have the water supposed to have an open, door like thingy?
no door.
So if I wanted to just make a walk in closet space no more 3 feet by 3 feet will this turn 80 degrees to 75??
I don't need much think a whole ac unit would be pointless.
Oh yes for that size yea this be great.
So it’s a fan with more cooling power
is sink water ok or do you have to use the distiller water? ty
Use tap water because it's likely been disinfected. If the water is hard, descale/clean unit every ~6 months.
Great video , do you need to put a pan underneath this to keep from getting water on the floor ?
I've never had to put anything underneath my air cooler it doesn't leak.
Thank you

it sucks don’t get it
It can help if humidity in the space is
I just got one. I cant open the remote. Do you know how? Thanks
Push in the release tab and pull the battery holder out.
How long does the 7L tank last?
One night. Literally 8 hours on high.
8hours
These are incredibly hard to clean. The drawer on the back doesn't come out and after a few weeks it is full of sludge.
It's best to clean at least every couple of day to prevent sludge.
press the 2 tabs on the pump and pull to remove the pump from the drawer.
Do you still own and use this Air Cooler? Would you recommend it still? An actual portable AC is about $150 more..
Yes I do own one and I use it all the time. It works best if you already have an ac unit in another room it complement it.

How do you think this would do in a small boats cabin?
I don’t think it would work in a boat because of the high humidity?
Don’t look like it the more I read up on it. Gonna just go with a portable ac 👍

No! California is the place you wanna be. So he loaded up the truck and he moved to Beverlyyyyy, hills that is. lol
how much does it cool the room in celsius like 40m2 room in like 1h
too large. ~15m2 for this unit. If room humidity is

No. If your place has warm spots and low humidity (
yes if you have an ac unit in home already and it works like a ceiling fan with cool water to cool things down.

7 liters

Does it work well without AC
Depends on the room size, humidity and airflow ( keep window(s) open).

Treated tap water is disinfected. Boiled water would be the best if the concern is bacteria and much cheaper ( cool it off before using).
