Could you please help me. Is your window able to lock with the hose installed? Reviewers have complained it stopped working after a while, is yours still working like you bought it?
There are windows similar to ours that can be locked while open. Ours do not have that feature. We bought two of these units, and both are still operating in separate rooms of our home.

Wouldn’t it be better for the exhaust if the screen was removed?
No, the screen keeps bugs from flying into the exhaust when the AC is off.
How did you guys cut the window panel that we put in our window? I’m having trouble with that
A hand saw. It cut easily. We measured and cut the excess off.
How much watts does the AC feature used both on coldest and not so cold setting?
800 watts.
