The Handy Boy Enhancement came out in 1990 one year after the GB. Didn't look to handy to me & thanks for confirming that. Man, watching you open the original Game Boy sure brought back memories of when i 1st opened mine up on October 16th, 1989! Taito is king of re-using game sprites in there games! One of the main reasons i love buying there games to see which character made it into their newest game! Big into puzzle games so Pop n Pop is on my list now! Thanks for the Game Boy Retro Break!

I played/beat PDS for the first time last year. It’s a game I think everyone should play but in no way pay the asking price for! Funnily enough I’m playing Breath of Fire 3 at the moment. I played the GBA ports of 1 and 2 back in the day!
Fun fact: The voice actor of Skiad Ops Gash also did the voices for the character Jiraya in Naruto
I still have that rechargeable battery pack/AC adapter in a box somewhere. The battery is long-since completely spent, though.

I finished Panzer Dragoon Saga a couple of months ago. It's great if not a bit easy. Great pickup!

I was gonna say £300-£400, but I just looked it up and it’s going for crazy prices, some in the four figures! 😮 I saw it a few years ago for £250, I should’ve grabbed it :/
@gregcord3886 £550 I paid, there was another one there for £700!! You really should have grabbed it for £250! :O it seems like it’s never going to go down…
@@RetroBreak550 seems like a steal from what I’ve seen, yeah, that 250 was probably about 5 years ago, I was seriously considering it but I bottled out, lol, oh well, nevemind….enjoy your haul and keep up the good work 😊
@gregcord3886 I bought it off a friend so he did me a good price, it wasn’t actually out on sale at the market, I think I got a good deal! I remember back in about 08 I passed it up for £65!!! 😭
The Gameboy is amazing, the accessory on the other hand, a complete waste of money imo.
Yeah the accessory is completely useless! But it was free
