I think we all agree that you’re a happy and very likeable lad who makes fun videos we enjoy watching. I’m a quite recent subscriber myself and I congratulate you on your 40k subs. This video sure brought back memories from when me and my brother both got our Gameboys back in ’91.

It was my first game console. I saved money as a teenager and my parents thought I was crazy buying it for 200 Dutch Guilders. I've had lot's of fun with it. One time on holiday we were at a farm and I played the Gameboy and the day after I couldn't open my eyes. Because a farm is an environment with lots of dust and pollen in the air and when you play the Gameboy intensely, you blink your eyes less, so I had an eye infection. That is one of my childhood experiences with the Gameboy :). Seeing now Kirby and Super Mario Land 2 in your movie, such good games from my childhood.
I love this! Seeing the original box and that old case was so cool. Game boy is incredibly nostalgic for me, as well. It was my first game console and for a long time I only had Tetris. One day I was out with my mom we went into some random shops on our downtown main street, which was a very rare occurrence, and one of the stores was a pawn shop and it had some game boy games for $1 each. I only had a few bucks, but I went home with Super Mario Land, Kirby's Dream Land and the first 2 TMNT games (Fall of the Foot Clan and Back From the Sewers). They were all gems and I felt like the luckiest kid. While I did manage to gather more games over the years, these 5 in particular hold the most nostalgia for me. Congrats on 40k!!!
Pokemon Yellow is super nostalgic, and Dragon Warrior Monsters too. Incredible games, loved them as a kid and they still hold up.
Kirby's Dreamland - Super Mario Land 2 6 GC - Pokemon Yellow, Red Blue - Links Awakening, are all games I also played in my childhood. Also on my Super GameBoy.
Alongside other awesome GB games.

Like everyone else Congrats on reaching 40K Subscribers! The Game Boy holds a special place in my heart as well. It was my 1st very own gaming device. Bought with my own money & i even know the exact date: Oct 16th, 1989. i thought my 1st game was Castlevania Adventure but i recently found a receipt that states i bought it in December of 89. After finding that receipt i remember Super Mario Land on the GB was the real 1st game i bought & played even before Tetris. i remember being shocked it came with a free game! Thanks for the Retro Break!

Retro gameboy has tons of greats but I won't mention the obvious ones. You got solar striker, mole mania,kid dracula,stop that roach, Trax,fortified zone,felix the cat, Popeye 2,maru's mission, great greed,DuckTales 2,talespin,darkwing duck,ninja taro,battle unit zeoth,snow brothers,skate or die bad n rad, Ghostbusters II,zen intergalactic ninja,mystical ninja,Rolands curse 2, avenging spirit,darkman I can go on pretty much naming all the classics I own.
When I was a kid back in the day (1990's) my family and I had two Game Boy's that we brought with us only if we were going on the road for a couple of hours or we were on summer vacation and went to visit relatives and friends in Saskatchewan. I got one of the original Game Boy's when my youngest sibling got her own Game Boy Pocket and my brother and I got the older model's. These day's I own multiple different Game Boy's, though unfortunately my original Game Boy needs to be fixed (something to do with the battery compartment, no corrosion though). My favorite OG Game Boy game's are.
