As someone struggling with depression, I have to say, your videos and the passion in it have a healing energy.
Hang in there, buddy ❤
@@gregcord3886 I will, thanks man ❤️
Really enjoyed that, hope you're channel gets more deserved following in 2024 and onwards
Started with snes all stars pack in 1993 and one of my all time favourite games.
These storytimes are my favorite
Love your videos👍 growing up i had a snes and n64 with most of the popular games for each system. I ended up selling both around 8 years ago when i was struggling and needed some money. I regretted it very shortly after. There are other ways to play those games but theres something special about having the original hardware!
Thanks! I really enojyed making this video, have you thought about buying back the things you sold? I did and it was a great goal to aim for!
@@RetroBreak yes but right I can't justify it. Some games are just as much as a brand new game
Like u my original NES has no sound too. I just play retro music off the internet now when I play my NES. Put in tons of time on Castlevania & Mega Man 2 on the NES. For the SNES I played Castlevania 4 & College Slam the most. N64 was Mario Kart 64 & Diddy Kong Racing! I skipped Game Cube because I was an idiot for liking racing games so much on the 64 & they didn't have one ready on launch day, so I denied myself the love for the NGC. However, with the Wii I can now go back & enjoy Double Dash & other great games on the NGC. Thanks for the Retro Break!
Can't wait for the Quintet doc!
Those were some awesome memories/choices. I didn’t get a Wii U but I pretty much played all the same games as you 😊
That's a nice journey! 🙂
Still here
Wow, what a journey! Mine began with the Gamecube as our family went with the PS1 upon its release. Love Playstation, but Gamecube gave me Double Dash, Melee, and countless hours of fun with my friends through their multiplayer catalog. Wonderful memories began there, and I eventually picked up my own N64, SNES, before buying a Wii... I was a bit all over the place XD But still loving them to this day with the Switch, and cannot wait to see what Nintendo has in store for us next gen :)
Great to hear that you went back to experience the previous systems at least! :D thanks for sharing your journey too!
Here’s my picks for 2 favorite games per system:
NES
Kirby’s Adventure - very fun fully fledged game, although the gba remake plays better
Super Mario Bros. 2(US) - oddly my favorite of the nes Mario games, just plays very well and very unique
SNES
Super Mario World - I’ve played it like at least 7 times and is fun every time
Kirby Superstar - really fun like you said, lots of memories
N64
Super Mario 64 - grew to love it overtime and is such an interesting game
Kirby 64 - lots of memories as well as great music and gameplay
GameCube
Luigi’s Mansion - such a unique Mario game and is so much fun to play over and over
Pikmin - great start to the series and so simple yet so fun
Wii
Super Mario Galaxy - beautiful Mario game with amazing soundtrack
Kirby’s Epic Yarn - lots of memories, remember crying once I beat the game
Wii U
Splatoon - great new IP and played so much of it, great music and gameplay
Mario Kart 8 - played it a lot with friends and was the best looking and sounding
Nintendo Switch
Fire Emblem Three Houses - amazing characters, really good story, surprised me a lot with how much I got into it
Luigi’s Mansion 3 - amazing visuals and gameplay, was on the hype train since its reveal, and didn’t disappoint
Awesome selection of games! The only one I haven’t played from the list if FE Three Houses..
@@RetroBreakreally good strategy game with fun characters, definitely worth a try!
