Great video! I always look forward to your videos because you’re chill, authentic (no RUclipsr voice/vibes), and genuinely excited about this hobby. Keep it up, brother!

Awesome Video on Handhelds! My favorite Subject! My parents wouldn't buy me a console. Then in 1989 the Game Boy came out & I had to save up for it & was finally able to get it later that year just before Halloween! Best October Ever & that is why October is my appreciation month for what I own. Handhelds are what I gravitate to when gaming. I didn't pick up another handheld until the GB SP as they were finally done with Batteries! With that said I was able to collect all the GB Color & GBA games that I missed out on, so that was super cool! Thanks for the Retro Break!

Resident Evil Revelations was one my first games on the 3DS as well and I was blown away by the console quality 3D graphics animations on the 3DS. A great spooky entry in the series!

I'm impressed you were able to make this video so interesting and entertaining for the full 20+ minute runtime.
I always remember waiting on Nintendo to release a Gameboy Player style accessory for Wii U to play DS/3DS games lol

funnily enough the only game I got at the 3ds's launch was Rayman 3D, and honestly don't regret it a bit. such an incredible game, and even if it's a fairly basic port, it was a great first experience with 3d imo

It's always so fascinating to hear your perspective and experience. As a homeschooled Mormon kid in the US with pretty controlling parents, mine is so different from yours. In learning to enjoy games as an adult, I don't have childhood joy and nostalgia to hearken back to, rather I am struggling to produce it from scratch as I go.
I had a N64 as a kid and I played Diddy Kong racing and Zelda ocarina of time on it, but had time limits of 30 minutes twice a week.
I was given a Zelda edition 3ds over a decade later and used it to... Play Zelda ocarina of time again 😊😅
I am so glad the switch lite exists. It was a gift to me for completing my associates degree and I used it to play stardew valley for years before branching out to other games.
Without my switch lite, I don't think I'd have my lil RUclips channel or all these cool games. I would probably never have bought a game gear and had my friend refurbish it, I wouldn't have a PSP, and I wouldn't have a GBA.
Anyway, great video as usual -Hannah

My first gaming experiences were on the original brick Gameboy that my parents bought for me second hand from a college student who went to our church. Super Mario Land was also the first game I owned, though the student who originally owned my Gameboy let me borrow another game he had--one of those 120-games-in-one black market carts like the one you showed here! I still chuckle though--the student wanted to give this cartridge to me along with Mario Land, but my parents asked him to hold onto it--they thought it would overwhelm me with choices, and honestly, there was a lot of wisdom there 😂

Going to back to play the Pokémon TCG game on the Switch has been so much fun. It’s still such a good game. Great video, really enjoying it!

The Nintendo DS is probably my favorite console ever.
Trace Memory (as Another Code is known here in the U.S.) is an amazing game. I'm so excited for the switch port of Another Code: R. I'm from the U.S. so I never got to experience that one on the Wii.
My favorite DS game recently has been the Zelda spinoff, "Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland". It sounds very strange, but it's actually an amazing game. It's one of the most unique takes on the top-down Zelda formula.

Great video. Your story about brining in Links Awakening to school reminds me when I brought my Megadrive and Sonic 2 into primary school. I actually felt a bit guilty as it completed took the shine off everyone’s toys, with half the class forming a queue to play it.

Best video on the channel in a long time and it’s always been, and always will be my favourite retrogaming channel! Absolutely loved this video, what I especially love about your videos is the real life stories and memories you share as well as your genuine passion and enthusiasm, it’s brilliant!
Like you I’ve owned every Nintendo handheld at some point in my gaming life and currently have a Switch, original 3DS (which I vastly prefer to the 3DS XL despite the smaller screen as it just looks and feels more premium somehow!) and a DSi, the other systems I play on my various emulation handhelds…..
Anyway, really superb video and can’t wait to see what awesome content you’ve planned for the future!

Switch lite is not redundant. It's served a purpose:
    Smaller form factor
    Much cheaper than main Switch
Exclusively for handheld use ( I am a handheld gamer)
    More portable

You should do a video about the history of Bomberman games. Like the fantastic ones you did on other game series like super monkey ball etc.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is my all time favourite game! Not many other people like the second one l dont understand why. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is really good you definitely need to play it, its still not as good as 2 though in my opinion.
