Really enjoying these history of gaming videos!
Thanks! Love making them! Was great to be able to go out and see these in person too!
i loved playing Link on the N64! Funny you mentioned played it to the 1st dungeon as the last two Link games don't have Dungeons! WHAT? i guess now i can say,
"Back in my day as the Legend Goes, Link use to explore Dungeons! i reckon you need to be a Retro Player to see that now a days! Gives the younger generation somethin to look forward 2!"
Thanks for the Retro History Break!
I was just there on Sunday! It was great, the time flew by and my 7 year old loved it too. The staff were very quick to fix games when they crashed
7:42 Love that ELFL! (And nice video. The exhibition looked like a lot of fun.)
Really interesting video Nick! I love the editing, and have never heard of some of these older machines! Looks like a fun event to have attended
I went to the Game On event in Chengdu a few years back, and it was so good. Always hoped it would come back. Love seeing gaming history.
Cool video....The Commando 64 was my first system...
That looked like an awesome day out. I went to a big one in London years ago and there were so many people that they only gave you like a two hour window or something which kinda took the edge off a bit but it was still brilliant. I think it may have actually been the same Game On as the one you visited but just setup in a different location..or maybe I'm entirely wrong as it was quite a while back now. Bet you went away from Super Hexagon with a bit of well earned pride? 😉
It might have been the same, I also had a 2 hour time slot, it wasn't too busy though, although most of the footage is towards the end so it was easier to film without people getting in the way!
Great video mate! Really enjoyed the tour :)
another great video!
Keep up the great content
Excellent video! I wish I was in the UK as I'd love to check this out. Anyone who does visit can do a double bill with the National Videogame Museum in Sheffield, which is also worth a look. Anyway, looking forward to more great gaming history videos on this channel!
Somehow as a fellow gaming RUclipsr, I just found your channel, but wow! Amazing videos man!
Glad you found me! Enjoy the videos :)
@@RetroBreak ♥️
My first handheld video games were Mattel Electronics Basketball and Bandai Electronics Super Galaxy Invader. Waaaay back in the late ‘70s!
🤘🤘
Nice video, very informative!
None of the home ports of Asteroids can compare to the vector monitor in the arcade. Those Super bright shots are amazing to see
Paying the original int he arcade is such a great experience! Nothing at home can replicate it! :D
Thanks...
The N64 had the same effect on me 😊
this will impact the outside world in human history
this IS human history!
@@RetroBreakyes it is, humans and their gaming industry
@@Druginspector12 I would love to do some episodes in the future about specific people who helped form the game industry. Some very clever people that often get overlooked or forgotten about in favour of the companies or games.
@@RetroBreakand i say games made by the people that makes kids and teen gamers play video games in a local neighborhood house or basement. people make games only for the works of sony and nintendo that are popular for all ages.
