  • Looking for quick, yet personal items you can sew for Christmas stocking stuffers? Here are 6 options that can be sewn using scraps of fabric and sewn in under 10 minutes for each one! The best thing about these, are that they are not the normal gift you'd see like zipper pouches or tea towels. They're accessories that you can add on to other gift items.
    Follow the link to get the measurements for the items shown in the video.

    you could cut the face wash circles out after they’ve been trimmed, just draw the circles on the fabric

    As i sew things like this,as i come down each side i sew all the way off the fabric,,then come back onto it as i start the next seam,this really reinforces the corners..Hope that makes sense to you.. Very nice small gifts,stocking stuffers etc.

    • @SewnByNikki

      Have fun! Definitely save your scraps. They will come in handy for a lot of projects. Shove them in a bin or a plastic bag and fish them out when you need! If you can match items you already have, then bonus for being stylish with a theme! : ) I do that with tote bags, book sleeves/covers, wallets, toiletry bags, etc. I love matching items!

    • @cindykolbe3288

      #4 is a zick-zack-stitch, #16 is a combo of straight stitch on both sides with a zick-zack-stitch in the middle, my Carina sewing machine have them too, just take a look on your stitch imagines, I'm sure you'll find them ;)

    Hi Niki! I love watching your videos! I want to make the face pads, chapstick holders, and bookmarks as gifts. I was wondering what the measurements you used for the face pads and for the chapstick holders? Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!!!

    • @SewnByNikki
      @SewnByNikki  3 года назад +1

      Hello Jasmine,
      You definitely should attempt to make some of those items. They are beginner friendly! For the face pads, you can make them whatever size you'd like. You can even make them square! I just took a glass from my cabinet and traced the top of the glass on to a paper and used that as a template. i wouldn't recommend anything wider however, because then it gets to be like a washcloth. : )
