The card holder is so simple and clever, I had to jump up and make one immediately, just for fun. I had a piece of Christmas fabric and used it even though it's almost eleven months until Christmas. I will certainly be making more of those. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
Fabulous ideas, just found you today! A handy little tip I was taught by a tailoress when dressmaking but it works for any sewing project. When sewing something round or with a curved edge , before you turn it outside in…as in right side out! Very carefully clip the 1/4” seam allowance on a diagonal as about a mm from the stitch. This gives you a neater flatter edge when you turn it out but also it gives you a small amount of stretch on a curve if needed. I shall definitely be trying out some of your projects.
I would love to see someone make a Christmas tree using fabric only. My son doesn’t have a tree and we were supposed to go to my parents for Christmas but due to the weather we aren’t able to travel. I’m a photographer so I used my tripod and covered it with green Christmas fabric I wanted to make stockings with. Took less than a minute to set up 😂 Next year, I’d like to sew a Christmas tree since a fabric tree actually looks nice.
Absolutely gorgeous ideas. Amazingly clear and straightforward instructions considering there is no talking. I love your ideas and presentations. Thank you so much 💗
Very pretty! Love that easy card holder - I could make lots of those quickly. I also like how you showed us how to make the 6-sided star completely flat if you notice it isn't while ironing it out. Great video!
Thank you so much Thuy, I really really enjoyed watching you creating those lovely Christmas items. I really really love ❤️ them all my favourite is the little purse. So cute and adorable too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
What is the little tool she's using to push the fabric and guide it with? It looks like a screwdriver. 🤷♀️ Also what is it used for and why? Does it really help? Or is it just a habit?
It’s called stiletto. You use it when you have to fuss with the fabric close to the needle, so you don’t sew through your finger. You can find them in the notions, or repurpose something you have around the house. A small skewer works well.
Hi! I'm sorry i have not been putting comments lately!😶 But still all you are making is great!!😻 Could you please make something for cats ( i would like a toy )?

What size snap did you use for the gift card holder? You show some tools and a box of coloured snaps - whose brand of snaps do you use?
Love all. Especially the placemat. Is there a way to make it larger for a center piece?
