    One of the engineers in my friend circle, a brilliant guy, was offered a higher position in the organisation. He said he was already on top and he doesn’t want to take it. But he was not on any top positions . He was an engineer. He said he is on top of what he wants to achieve..a job he wants to do, a decent salary, a family, with whom he likes to spend time with, a house..

    When you're lying on your deathbed, it is not your boss, your career achievements, and massive acuumulation of money you will be thinking about. Its your family, your friends, other lives you've touched, your compassion.. You know, the things that truly matter. Do not squander these. The next time you are faced with a choice: work, or family, mentally put yourself in that future deathbed and make the decision from THAT perspective. Its very sad, the people who are close to departing this life who have nothing but a perfect attendence certificate to hold onto for comfort, instead of the hand of someone you love. Make the right choice

    • @yaazarai
      @yaazarai Год назад

      The full interview he explains that in Scandinavia they've maximize egalitarianism by just letting people do what they want instead of pushing narratives. What happened was that women en-masse quit higher up C-Suite professions to have children and a family because that's what women actually want. Not working 80hr work weeks. Well and men don't want do do that either--which is why the average worker works 40hrs a week.
      Women are more interested in people, men are more interested in things. So increase peoples' actual free choice do what the hell they want and go figure women choose more social professions (medical, daycare, etc.) and then quickly drop-out and become mothers and housewives.
