Serious ? Would you prefer a box for the 15 streaking kittens cards? For the other 2 extensions the boxes are oversized, it's ridiculous. we only want cards
Hey thanks for commenting! Have you seen the boxes for the Here To Slay expansions? They’re small and compact, but they do an excellent job of keeping all of your cards together, as opposed to a ziplock bag, or permanently mixing them in with your main base game. I agree that the expansion boxes are awkwardly huge, but I’d still like a small container to keep them in, separate from my other expansions.
If You're a big fan of a game like exploding kittens surley u would want to have at least a better option for storage and keeping your cards safe.

When I played with imploding kittens I thought I was playing with an expanded base game those cards fit perfectly
With Streaking kittens it has a lot of my favourite cards and 2 of my least favourite cards, curse of the cat butt and mark so extremes on both ends, lol

Barking Kittens was the first time I felt “expansion fatigue”. That was also when they started releasing revamped base game editions that included special cards. Barking sadly got saddled with all the leftover “expansion” ideas.
You hit it right on the head with Imploding Kittens. It fits so snugly into the EK world. It’s without a doubt the first expansion that everyone should get.
Streaking Kittens was such an innovative expansion, you can tell that they were really flexing their creative muscles. That said, cards like the Cat Butt added so much tension and confusion to the EK world. Lol I think they’re STILL figuring that card out!

I was origianlly think Imploding kittens in 3rd Barking kittens in 2nd and streaking kittens in 1st. But u changed my mind. I AGREE with ur list by a LONG SHOT
I’m so glad that my list resonated with you! It was a hard task. It’s not easy saying that one expansion is the worst of them all, or that one expansion is the absolutely best. That said, I feel good about the final standing, at least until they release a future expansion, hopefully a Super Nope expansion.
I only have the Imploding Kittens and Barking Kittens expansions , but I like Streaking Kittens more

When combining all of the expansions it makes the game fun but hard to understand

Yes!! I don’t know that there’ll ever be a card that’s on par with the Streaking Kitten. It wins on every level in my book. A “Super Nope” card could give it a run for its money tho…
Personal attack cards are cool in concept, effectively creating a new type of strategy for the game.
The problem, is that in practice, it’s too risky without see/alter the future cards, and even then, it’s not a memorable card. It’s not a bad card, just underwhelming.
I totally agree with you! I was telling someone the same thing, that without a “future” card it can be really dicey to play. My friends and I would attack ourselves with the “Targeted Attack” cards to achieve the same effect, since the card states that you can target “any player”. As you said, it’s not a bad card, but it’s not making any “top 10” lists either. Take care and thanks for sharing!

Hello,
I was wondering if you would know in which chronological order the different versions of the base game came. I have found versions online that say original edition on the right side of the box and editions that don't say it. I also found editions that say on the bottom right that say #1 most backed kickstarter and also editions that say minutes to learn and time to play on the bottom right instead. This makes it so there are 4 different english editions (maybe more that I don't know of). Would you know why they are different and also in which order they were released?

Hello and thanks for reaching out! As of this moment, I don’t know the chronological order of the original base game editions. Exploding Kittens has been notorious for making “updates” to their games-even their rules-without anyone noticing. This has led to quite a bit of confusion in the EK community. I wish I had more information for you!

I'm not sure if you can buy it separately but I do remeber seeing a streaking kitten box in a party pack box that had the exploding base game bear vs badies
Some other game i forgot and streaking kittens but the streaking kitttens came in there card board box.

Hello i have a question. Can you add all the expansion cards to EK original and play with all of them combined or is it just one expansion you can add at a time?

Adding the expansion packs converts a 2-5 player version to a 10. Player version?
@mikeleinterrante6602 with imploding kittens you can add another person to the game ( so 6 players max). If you add the other 2 expansion the maximum will remain 6 players.
Is there a bundle that has the original game plus 3 expansions?
Not to my knowledge, but then again EK has sold these games as bundles on their website before! It’s worth looking into.
How do you add the extensions to your game?

That’s right! Exploding Kittens makes it really easy to add and play.
Imploding kittens is the best! About the others > We hate the cards that make us lose time looking for cards in the deck then shuffle etc. No way. We want fast and furious games!

It depends on your opinion! Speaking for myself personally, I love it that you can’t escape the Imploding Kitten card. It adds a sense of danger that causes everyone to fight for their lives. That said, I also understand why someone wouldn’t like the card, because there’s nothing you can do to shut it down. Take care and have a great day!

Great question! You get to keep it if you draw it. Drawing a second Diffuse card is always the best!

That’s a great question! The expansion version of Zombie Kittens was briefly made available to customers, but was quickly removed, apparently due to shipping costs. I tried to buy it myself, but you can’t find it anywhere. Apparently it’s still part of the big game bundles on the Exploding Kittens website, but that’s the only way to get it. Because it’s not readily available to customers, and also because it’s a spin-off of the original Zombie Kittens base game, I felt that it was best to leave it off this list. However, I will definitely be including the original game when I rank the various base games. Take care and thanks for commenting!
