That’s a great question! This expansion pack comes with an extra Exploding Kitten card to prevent this from happening. No matter what, there will always be enough Exploding Kittens for up to 5 players. Take care and thanks for commenting!

Haha! I’m right there with you! For whatever reason, RISK is one of my all-time favorite games. Not only is it brutal, but it’s long, making the wounds from friends and family even more painful. Something tells me that we’re both fans of brutal warfare when it comes to games. And now No Mercy can continue the never-ending cycle! Lol

That’s a great question! In my opinion, if you have a Streaking Kitten, have been Cursed, and draw an Exploding Kitten, you’re safe. However… From what I’ve researched, some say the Streaking Kitten has no power over the situation, and it can still be discarded in the instance that you’ve been cursed and have drawn an Exploding Kitten. The only way to survive is drawing a Diffuse from your hand. This seems to be a highly debated topic, so I’m keeping open-minded to other ideas. Thanks for getting the ball rolling! I apologize if my comment wasn’t super helpful.

That’s a great question! You’re on the right track. If you combine this version with any one of the other base game versions, you’ll have enough cards for 10 players. You make a great point about Zombie Kittens. While that combo would be an absolute blast, it would also be wildly chaotic! Good Vs Evil would be a much more tame option. That’s a great question! I’ve been in this scenario before. Each player will have to continually diffuse the Exploding Kitten every time they draw it until all of the Zombie Kitten cards run out. There’s enough Exploding Kittens to destroy all but one player, so it’s only a matter of time before everyone runs out of Zombie Kittens. That said, it’s also important to remember that if a dead player is resurrected, you must also return one Exploding Kitten card from the discard pile back to the draw pile. I totally agree with you! No Mercy is my favorite as of this comment. Also, I like your house rules! UNO is perhaps one of the best “party” games for custom gameplay, as the game’s simple enough to make adjustments to without hijacking the main objectives. Take care and thanks for sharing!

stacking in this game is actually fun unlike in regular uno where it just makes the game longer and more boring

Right? It definitely adds to the “brutal” factor, as now so many of these cards are able to combine with others.

in this game it has a point though because of the 25 card rule, in regular uno it just slows down the game for no reason and makes the strategic use of action cards much harder. in regular uno i prefer no stacking as playing a draw 2 and seeing them pick up 2 cards and loose their turn with nothing they can do in response feels like such a middle finger to your opponent, but uno no mercy has the colour roulette card which achieves the same effect. i just feel like counterplay makes the concequences of the game less severe. a lot of people like stacking so i guess this is a hot take? but for me, uno without stacking is much more brutal than stacking even if the total cards picked up is less. for no mercy stacking makes the game better though 100 percent
