    Thanks for the educational vids. What do u and Matt really think of the Broncos? Does it feel like the transmission and engine will be reliable? I my self have 2 Broncos with low mileage on them and never been off road. I do worry about the reliability on them that I’m serving the engine every 3k mile or 6 months.

      I was hesitent about the engine at first too, but it seems to be holding up well, and its not a new engine. Ford has been putting them in other vehicles for years now, and they seem to be holding up great. My wife has the 2.3 in her explorer and its been great, and I havent had any issues with the 2.7 and the transmissions seem good.
      There are some components like the steering racks and so on that could be stronger but theres companies making parts for that now and are fairly easy to replace. All in all I think the Bronco is great, its a great platform that Ford did a great job on.

    Does this mean that you have to use 93 octane from now? Hows the mpg 🎉

    • @EvilleTruck
      @EvilleTruck  2 месяца назад

      Yes, but he always ran 93 before anyway so no change, his MPG is only like 10

    Did Matt run premium prior to the tune also?
    Were you able to set tire size on the ProCal? or did you do it with ForScan?

    • @EvilleTruck
      @EvilleTruck  5 месяцев назад

      Yes Matt Always ran Premium anyway so no change in fuel. You can set tire size in ProCal, we actually had an error at first since we had previously set it with Forscan. Once set with Procal then all was good. Still can only go up to almost a 38" tire though before you get errors, So still cant set it to 40's. with forscan or with Procal😢

    Does pro cal remove the 100mph governor or its still on

      Not sure I will check with Matt though not sure if you ever got a Bronco on 40’s up to 100 it’s not the most stable feeling so might not have tested it 😀

      afaik only the Whipple Supercharger Stage 1 Tomahawk calibration device unleashes the stock limiter up to 120mph. I am seriously considering the Whipple Tomahawk but it is a true full flash calibration device. Warranty is likely voided and you cannot auto retrieve the stock calibration (you DL it to the Tomahawk and send it to Whipple and they delete it and send you their new calibration) but it's possible Whipple might have workarounds to retrieve it.
      For what it's worth it's also likely this ProCal 4 does not play nice with aftermarket CAI's and possibly aftermarket exhausts if they change the MAF sensor's OG calibration...

      @@mwbradaIf you’re gonna spend the money on the Whipple, then just spend a little more and go full custom tune with ZFG Racing.

      @@mwbrada if you’re gonna void your warranty why not get the best tune available for the Bronco? Under 5 sec 0-60 on 93 octane, unlocked speed limiter, lightning fast transmission shifting, and tune adjustments for all of the bolts-on you install. I’ve owned the ProCal, JB4, Pulsar XT, and RaceChip. Nothing compares to custom tuning.
      Also, everyone that I’ve talked to about the Whipple tune said it’s like the ProCal, but with slightly more power.

      It shouldn't impact it if you install it more than once it would just reset any changes or custom settings you made when it was installed first time. What errors are you getting?
