Is that a floating panel in the cabinet doors? Do you have to worry about expansion and contraction? Exposing edges.

This was a non floating plywood panel. Usually you would but the ply was pinned from behind into the frame, the wood will expand and contract along the outside edges, not the center.

Looks great! Were the original cabinets stained or just clear coat over raw wood?

How do I find someone who can do this for me in Northern NJ? Can this be done on laminate doors? 🤔🤔

I have literally no idea, but any good local painter or contractor can do it. It can be but isnt ideal, just make sure you use the correct primer.

Okay that came out beautiful but you have made me realize I never want to do this 😂 you’re a good friend! That was exhausting just watching you! I feel like I can’t look at another sanding block for a long time after watching this!

Thanks! Lol yeah it is a huge job, thankfully it only has to be done once. We went through 9 sanding blocks by the time it was all said and done, my hands were sore 😄
