The true art of music production : bringing the most out of any artist you record. Not just making Your sounding beats and trying to make vocalists fit them. You have to be able to record Nine Inch Nails, and then record Jay-Z, like Rick Rubin. You are a facilitator and the work will thank you. Madlib is a master of this

The straight quas songs I still like but I gotta be in the mood for it lol But yeah Madlib says he doesn't like his normal voice but I like it.. the voice wasn’t a filter, he would record beats on to a tascam cassette recorder, slow the beat down and rap over it slow. if you have a turntable or cassette player with a pitch change, slow it down on the way and you hear madlibs regular voice. or speed it up to hear two quas characters
