I was lucky enough to be at this gig, it was at HMV Forum, London, on 12th October 2012. DOOM does the MoBot at the end of his set as we hosted the Olympics 4 months earlier and that was the celebration Mo Farah did after his 2 gold medals. Daniel Dumile (MF DOOM) is my all time favourite artist and I consider Madvillany and Mm..Food to be 2 of the greatest albums ever recorded.

I think I was 😂 Freddie Gibbs was there too IIRC and he was incredible before I really knew much about him. Shit was jam packed I couldn't really see and kinda did think DOOM was an imposter but I was drunk and high.
I think it was funny for DOOM to send imposters to his concerts, but he was a great performer and it was pretty messed up to cheat the fans like that. I've heard the Expektoration live album. I'd be expecting one of the best concerts of my life. Getting pranked by an imposter would be more crushing than "oh haha that's cool because he's a villain character."
