Love this shop. So spacious & organized, especially the (furniture) large cabinets, dressers & shelves, set up in the center. Everything is easy to see & what a nice variety of items.

Love the second Finders Keepers shop, they had some lovely furniture (I am partial to a nice bit of wood). I have two of the green carnival bowls that you picked up, they are not as shiny as the one you picked up though. Love the carnival vase you picked up, I havent seen one that shspe before.
Loving the Royal Worcester Porcelain, alas the factory has closed and production moved to China but the museum remains.

Wow, you really did well today Joce, and got so many things for really reasonable prices. Our Goodwill is now open but I still haven't had the time to go, so I am very happy to see you out finding things. I stop for turtles in the road too! The best thing you can do is move them across the road to the side they were heading. That little guy hadn't seemed to have decided which way he was going yet however.🐢😁.

p.s. Just looked up when our 2 local Finders Keepers will open...DRAT!!!! They are permanently closed. The closest one is in Los Angeles which is 84 miles from me and driving in LA is a nightmare...

Need one of these close to where I live. There’s multiple pieces of furniture that I really liked. Thrift furniture that I have bought is so much better quality than I could afford new.
I bought a tiny little dragon ware trinket dish at an estate sale recently. Just like things do, once you buy one, others start to pop up. I have since snagged a plate and a vase. I love that design.

If you go back to that store, at around 7:50 in the video ( while looking at the Chinese duck paintings) There were two gold rimmed glasses. I think that is Moser Crystal in the splendid pattern. That would retail for around 350 each !
I also thought they were moser. Joclynn said she might be going back to this store next week. I hope she reads this post and returns to pick these up. Stemed glassware has fallen off quite a bit but Moser still holds value. Read this post cll

Mom has always liked turtles. She has a few glass pieces in a turtle design. 1 vintage lidded piece she's had for years, I used to play with when I was a kid. She keeps her rings in it and other small jewelry. If you see some nice vintage porcelain and art glass turtle pieces, those would be cool.

Clear glass: there maybe Lalique in those stores which is highly collectible and expensive.
Snapper turtle...they will bite your fingers off and they can reach around to the back so never try pick them up! 🐢😬

That was a snapping turtle, they are endangered and yes they are mean LOL they lay eggs on the edges of the road buried) they get big. I saved one too and no one complained

At the beginning of the video there was a piece that looked like a closed parasol. It was right next to the glass Scottie dog like your grandmother's. I don't think I've ever seen a piece like that before. Do you or anyone else know anything about it?

I picked a turtle up from the back end. He was walking down the middle of the road. Carried him to the nearest grassy area with water. Did not want him to get ran over !

I stop and pick up turtles, too, but only box tortoises! Girl, that turtle would have bitten you and not let go til it thunders!!! (at least that's what the old folks say...)

I stop for box turtles every time I see one. Just the other day I stopped & put on the flashers as a confused squirrel tried to figure out which way to go. I think it was deaf as it didn't scurry when I lightly tapped the horn. Anyway, wish I lived near/had a chain like Finders Keepers down here in Kentucky! Until we can visit PA, will have to live vicariously thru your shopping videos! PS: which ONE glass paperweight did Ashton want off the tray?
Hello Jocelyn, great video as always, couple things but wasn't this store the same store with the "bid" or "auction" section? Also I wish you would pick up some costume jewelry, there's a Huge market out there, and you could easily lump some together and auction off. Just a suggestion. That aluminum piece with the flip lid, that is used to empty ash trays into - you go around the house and empty ashtrays into that, then it is emptied in kitchen, sort of a dust pan so to speak, likely something a maid would use. You touched another one a little later, it had a wooden handle.

@@CrazyLampLady Well besides being old enough to know this stuff, my mom had a copper one and after they had guests or parties she let me run around the day after with it and empty the ashtrays! What she did not know, however, that I also got up really early and drank whatever was left in glasses which had not been taken to the kitchen when the party ended - woo hoo!

Can tell by it's sliced/cracked shell that turtle has been hit by a car.Those out there that don't know there are turtle rescue groups that will come & take injured turtles. Help recover & sometimes even able to release back to the wild. Google.

So glad you didn’t try to pick up that turtle. It’s a logger head and they have a nasty horrid bite that breaks bones, especially finger ones. I do hate to see them hit by vehicles though.

Don’t know much about hair receivers but don’t they usually have a hole in the top? Warming pans do usually have a long handle but they are more utilitarian versions heated in the kitchen. There are fancy ones with engraving which were heated in a more formal setting like the sitting room They have shorter handles and can also double as foot warmers when sitting in a chair
I think it is called a silent butler. Used to put ashes from ashtrays in to allow them to cool before putting in the trash.
