Your videos are so relaxing watching you and your husband out in the sun enjoying yourself shopping and eating breakfast is such a joy to watch. I’m so happy you found your happiness. You both are a great success.🦋
Your closet is lovely. I would recommend a small 2 step folding step ladder to use to access the top shelves. It's safer than a step stool. It can be folded up and tucked behind the hanging pants. I admire your restraint in the size of your wardrobe.
Wow, the fact that you cleaned that rug shows how much you care about the inventory you sell! I have watched resellers who have their inventory (clothing especially) shoved all over the place. When I see things stored in a less desirable way, it makes me not want to buy from them. You take such good care of your inventory & are so organized, I would not hesitate to buy from you. (I just downsized, so I’m not looking to bring more items into my home at this time, but never say never😂) xo
That’s what I grew up with, too❤. “Knee high by 4th of July”. We’re surrounded with corn & soybeans in Eastern South Dakota…I LOVE driving around here❤
Haha Nothing wrong with Ice cream for breakfast! My husband was having our oil changed once and we were by a Thrifty's. I asked my young kids if they wanted Ice cream for breakfast?! Mom win!!
Do we love a pocket door? Yes we do!!! 🥰 I had them put in in my basement remodel in my last home; loved them!!! Every home needs to have them (somewhere)!!!🥰 Loved your video! I'm with Roger on the milkshake, any time is a good time for a milkshake! 🥤🐮
I am having a great time watching you showing the inside of the item I ordered--The Japanese writing set. I absolutely love it's uniqueness, beauty, condition and history. Thanks for picking that up;). Do I love a good Japanese writing set?, Yes I do"
Random. I was watching a training video for work. At the end it said "go out and be great" but I automatically said in my head "go out and get what's yours!" 😂
Hi Karen! You might be a "sucker for a bowl", but I am a sucker for a pie plate, lol! My husband even commented on the towering stack of pie plates I own. I mentioned this to a worker at Goodwill adding, "I'm a sucker for a pie plate" and he replied, "I'm a sucker for a pie!"
I am in 3 vintage photo groups on Facebook.. Quite often people get their photos from auctions and flea markets then try to find descendants who are thrilled to get them back. It's tragic how many treasures get discarded by someone who doesn't care when there are family members that want them.
Knee high by the fourth of july Is the guideline my father always went by for corn in michigan But I don't know how it is in pennsylvania On the 25th of July.
Your area looks like where we live in SC. I'm always surprised to see youtubers who live in the country. We have corn, peanuts, cotton and sometime soybean fields around us.
I am not a reseller, but you have got me motivated to shop at Goodwill and go to Flea Markets again. I had spinal surgery a few years ago and do not walk as good as I once did, so I stay pretty close to home, but, I am going to start venturing out. I enjoy your videos so much. I love watching you and Roger shopping together, so nice. Glad you picked up the bird pictures, they were so nice.
When you mentioned Roger sold the knock hockey, what a jog to my memory that was, I had forgotten all about knock hockey, oh we all loved to play it back in the day, sadly, I'm showing my age. The lampshade was truly beautiful Karen, and the corn fields looked glorious.
Such a pleasure to spend time with You and Roger this afternoon. Yes the the Corn and Land is just Beautiful. Love the Closet as well. There is nothing better than Pocket doors, every door in my home we owned as my kids was growing up had pocket doors. Have a great week you two.
Neshaminy Woods is in Langhorne, Pa my husband and I graduated from Neshaminy Senior High School. SE Pa. Bucks County, Pa it’s pronounced Na shaminy. 1973 and 1975. Great place to live and go to school
@lisaockerman9940 - Did he know George Shoemaker?? He's my Chiropractor. I also did home health care for a gal named Anne Shaffer who graduated with George. She told me CHICAGO played at their Sr. prom.
Hi Karen! I enjoy your videos. I haven’t missed one! I also switched my whole store to ground advantage with calculated shipping. If it is a heavier item I ship priority. You can always upgrade and still use priority boxes. The cost is similar. Sometimes less!
You really live in a lovely area. I have always heard corn should be “knee high by the 4th of July” here in Kentucky. Thanks for sharing your shopping trip.
Roger has a great build! You guys must eat health. Course with all the walking you guys do, probably helps keeps you guys fit! I enjoy going along on your treasure trips! (I walk every day too, but not near what you guys do!!😂)
They are like a senior Barbie and Ken ( Grand parents.) If they made them into replica dolls, they would cruise over to babysit in a pink convertible Mercedes Benz. Roger would be in white pants and an aqua blue polo, and a pink sweater wrapped around his neck and top siders. Karen would be in a white knee length boho dress, with pink accents, aqua blue sandals and white pearl necklace , earrings and bracelet.
We're in West Virginia growing zone 6a. The saying that has always been used for corn here is, "knee high by the fourth of July". Corn takes a long time to grow so here it's usually an August harvest.
Love your videos! I enjoyed the scenery clip. My mom lives in New Holland. I think July is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Lancaster. My father was a produce farmer when I was younger and his goal was to have sweet corn by July 4th. It always depends on when you can get the seed in the ground and then water and temperatures after that. If the ground is to wet in the spring and it delays the planting, then it’s not ready for July 4th. 😄
You are such an inspiration! I have been telling myself and my husband each morning “I’m going to go out there and channel my inner lavender today” as a positive affirmation. I’m just starting out with selling and I love your enthusiasm, encouragement and how well you explain things. Thank you for putting out these videos.
Corn will not be ready til around November. I grew up on a dairy farm and we grew lots of crops. They are beautiful when you look aross the fields. Thanks for sharing!
Yes that first item is for Crumbs. As a waitress at Shanty Creek Lodge in Michigan...we used those to tidy up at tables for patrons. Knee by the fourth of July./ Corn.😊
The corn you see along your route, looks like field corn. It won't be harvested until late Oct. early Nov. depending on how much it dries. Farmers want it within a certain low moisture content, in order for it to be stored in silos so it won't get moldy.
You could have a lot more space in the basement if you put all the clothing from the round racks on double racks kind of like the system in your closet. You could build or buy the good racks and make sure to put the heavier items on the bottom or anchor them so they wouldn't fall over. Organization makes me happy and I try but you are the Queen! Thanks for sharing!
In lower Delaware, so about 3 hours south of you, we are very happy if the corn comes in by the 4th of July, but usually get it by the 2nd week of July. We were close to the 4th this year so I would think yours would be about 2 weeks after that due to you being further north. Just a guess, I'm not a farmer.
Enjoyed the scenery that brought back wonderful memories of our visit there and our stay in a "tourist home" that looked like homes you were driving by. What a blessing to live in such a peaceful, charming area. The farmers make it beautiful with their "organized corn" (love that)!
I believe Georges Briard was French. An interesting fact about him Pfaltzgraph hired him to design their most popular dinnerware line, the White Heritage collection.
Corn should be planted by the 4th and ready to pick around Early September. That’s what we do here on our farm (Seattle) but if it’s field corn they like to plant sooner so it gets chopped before all the rain
I’ve loved your videos so much as I told you from the beginning. I’ve been ill or had family issues and still not on eBay. I’m amazed how much get done!!! You and Roger are amazing. I need your energy! I’ve packed all my stuff up and took a room, hubs calls the Jenga room!!
I’m always happy when I get up and see your video is up! Got my coffee and I’m all settled in to see what you and Roger have been up to. I’m originally from NJ and used to go to PA at least once a year for a trip to the Lancaster area. I loved the Amish and antique shopping. Of course the country side is beautiful it reminds me of growing up on a beautiful dairy farm. I’m living in Phoenix now and I really miss the greenery ! Also it’s hot as heck here right now, gonna be 118 today, yikes! Thank you for a really nice start to my day ! So happy to see you and Roger settling in as a married couple now. I also triple love your new closet ! Wow, it looks great ❤
Thinking items made in Hong Kong started in the 60’s. Japan (post war), then Hong Kong, then Taiwan, then China is how I determine the ages of my vintage Christmas (for the mass produced things ).
You are right about the corn and frankly a lot of the vegetables this year! Love this video, especially this week - so calming in our crazy weather (Bucks County PA). Love the organized corn!
Your driving view looks like mine. I live in a small town in Ohio. As soon as you leave, it's farms and cornfields. Love your closet. My house is an older house with small closets but we make it work.
The lamp shade was beautiful!!! Well done!!! Was born and raised in Iowa, but in Michigan now. It was nice to see the rows of corn and the well kept farm homes and buildings!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
Anybody that says you are a hoarder should see your closet wow i'm impressed. I will not show you mine which only has my stuff in it,Because you would probably have a heart attack l o l.😂
In Iowa it's "knee high by 4th of July". Love your videos! Just scored a Johnny Was shirt at the Goodwill bins that everyone else had left! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Isn't it wonderful to have someone to thrift with?? Love you guys! Your happiness shines like a light.
My grandparents always said corn should be knee high by the Fourth of July. I love your videos and all your great finds!
That’s what I have always heard too.
Good to know about corn.
Same saying in Ohio from my farming family members.
That’s what we say about corn in Indiana
I always heard the same. Most of the corn in your area is feed corn and generally not harvested until September/October.
Your videos are so relaxing watching you and your husband out in the sun enjoying yourself shopping and eating breakfast is such a joy to watch. I’m so happy you found your happiness. You both are a great success.🦋
I’m with Roger on the milkshake.
I absolutely LOVE that Woven lamp shade. I have never seen one like that, ever.
Right? I am in love with it, & for only $2? What a deal!!
Your closet is lovely. I would recommend a small 2 step folding step ladder to use to access the top shelves. It's safer than a step stool. It can be folded up and tucked behind the hanging pants. I admire your restraint in the size of your wardrobe.

Spelt is a type of wheat Karen, spalt is the fungi in the wood. Enjoying your videos as always! ♥️
Wow! That lamp shade is a SCORE. Nice pick Karen. 😊
It really is! Thanks!
According to my grandfather, who was an Iowa farmer, "Knee high by the 4th of July" is what he always said in regards to corn.
I am having a great time watching you showing the inside of the item I ordered--The Japanese writing set. I absolutely love it's uniqueness, beauty, condition and history. Thanks for picking that up;). Do I love a good Japanese writing set?, Yes I do"

As always 😊an enjoyable trip. Someday your tombstone will read, “You guys know me…” Lol and we do! I’m truly so happy for you.
Your area looks like where we live in SC. I'm always surprised to see youtubers who live in the country. We have corn, peanuts, cotton and sometime soybean fields around us.
I think the saying is with corn: it should be knee high by the Fourth of July! Great vlog as always!!
The saying goes, "Knee high by the 4th of July" for the corn. Love the lampshade!
Corn is supposed to be knee high by the Fourth of July in my area of Thousand Islands NY and it’s ready by the first week in August.
Hi Karen an roger love coming shopping with you lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Great sales. And what a well thought out and organized closet.
I am not a reseller, but you have got me motivated to shop at Goodwill and go to Flea Markets again. So happy for you both 🎉 went out and got whats yours!!!!
Love your Vlog!
As a former farm boy. The expression with corn is “Knee High by the Fourth of July”! Great video and appreciate you.
When you mentioned Roger sold the knock hockey, what a jog to my memory that was, I had forgotten all about knock hockey, oh we all loved to play it back in the day, sadly, I'm showing my age. The lampshade was truly beautiful Karen, and the corn fields looked glorious.
Just came home from a local thrift store in Mississippi and thought about you and Roger the whole time l was browsing! You guys are a joy to watch! 😊

I wish I could be like you in the way that items got sold quickly.
I love how organized your closet is! Your sales are doing well and that makes me happy for you!
Congratulations on 75k!! Woot woot!🎉
You really live in a lovely area. I have always heard corn should be “knee high by the 4th of July” here in Kentucky. Thanks for sharing your shopping trip.
Coming from a long line of farmers in central NJ, the old saying I learned many years ago is: "corn should be knee high by the 4th of July"
Your organization is very impressive! The flea maket was fun. Thank you for sharing the lovely PA landscape.
Amazing couple❤
Corn is suppose to be knee high by 4th of July in Illinois.
We had a cool spring in California...that would make corn late in PA?.
We're in West Virginia growing zone 6a. The saying that has always been used for corn here is, "knee high by the fourth of July". Corn takes a long time to grow so here it's usually an August harvest.

Oh usually corn is ready by mid-August where I grew up.
Oh, that's interesting. My family was from Illinois, and the expression I always heard was that corn should be knee high by the fourth of July.
You are such an inspiration! I have been telling myself and my husband each morning “I’m going to go out there and channel my inner lavender today” as a positive affirmation. I’m just starting out with selling and I love your enthusiasm, encouragement and how well you explain things. Thank you for putting out these videos.
When I see a good bowl or good pottery, I think of you, Karen.
Love, love that lamp shade!! You’re so fun to watch and work🤣 Me with my coffee in my recliner 😂🥰♥️
The closet is everything 😮❤
9:10 - I spy an old Duran Duran poster on the ground. 🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣
Such pretty farms. Beautiful place to live.
Corn will not be ready til around November. I grew up on a dairy farm and we grew lots of crops. They are beautiful when you look aross the fields. Thanks for sharing!

Is everybody tired of Barbie-yes! But the teenie basket is too cute.

I love when you pull sales!
Karen and Roger, Thank you for another enjoyable video! You guys never disappoint. Watching from Anchorage, Alaska. 🙂🤗💕✌
That heart trinket box is fabulous!!
Loved the painted tray. I believe that is a Jacobean print.
I love visiting that area and yes everything is behind this year , gardeners are noticing a difference
Enjoyed the scenery that brought back wonderful memories of our visit there and our stay in a "tourist home" that looked like homes you were driving by. What a blessing to live in such a peaceful, charming area. The farmers make it beautiful with their "organized corn" (love that)!
Beautiful closet!!!
You are SO organized!!! I’m guessing that is the only way to be efficient with that amount of inventory
I think if you paint everything high gloss white … it will look bright and clean uniform look and help with smells 😍😘🥳

Thinking items made in Hong Kong started in the 60’s. Japan (post war), then Hong Kong, then Taiwan, then China is how I determine the ages of my vintage Christmas (for the mass produced things ).
Hi Karen and Roger,I've always heard for corn "knee high by the 4th of july" tfs
your basement is amazing!! :)
You guys saved a ton of money & time not having to move your basement inventory. Great idea adding addition to your home.
Great Video. Where's my husband he's in a bright white shirt. Oh there he is. Typical. Love and best wishes from Northern Ireland. ❤
What you are mixing up is the old saying "Is the corn knee-high by the fourth of July". Harvesting corn has not begun yet.
Here in southern Illinois we say by July 4th corn should be knee high.
It is possible to use a heavy duty Command hanger to put a folding stool on the wall in front of the "tall/long" clothing. Just a suggestion.
You are right about the corn and frankly a lot of the vegetables this year! Love this video, especially this week - so calming in our crazy weather (Bucks County PA). Love the organized corn!

Love to follow you thrifting!! Great finds. And the corn is supposed to be “knee high by the Fourth of July” so no it wouldn’t be edible by then. 😉
It does seem that way for corn planting on the west coast inland. Weather has been different this year.
The lamp shade was beautiful!!! Well done!!! Was born and raised in Iowa, but in Michigan now. It was nice to see the rows of corn and the well kept farm homes and buildings!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
Love the little bamboo box ❤
Anybody that says you are a hoarder should see your closet wow i'm impressed. I will not show you mine which only has my stuff in it,Because you would probably have a heart attack l o l.😂
Thank you for enhancing my life
I wrap the priority boxes and use ground advantage to ship
The old adage knee-high by 4th of July 😁
Corn generally is not ready until end of July/ beginning of August. The saying is "knee high by the 4th of July"
I am turning my priority boxes inside out and us brown tape. Works great
I received a negative feedback from someone who was offended about USPS abuse.
It’s against USPS RULES
In Iowa it's "knee high by 4th of July". Love your videos! Just scored a Johnny Was shirt at the Goodwill bins that everyone else had left! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Oh I so love the summer cornfields too!❤️ Very lovely closet…well done!👍🏻😄
