I have that same panther in black. Except he is much bigger and is for the top of the old fashioned televisions set. Also lights up. Still working after all these years. It's from the 50s.
I always appreciate the education you provide on your shopping trips. You even take the time to talk about the pieces you don’t buy. I have learned so much since starting to watch you during the lock down.
The dog 19:34 is a Springer Spaniel who is trained as a bird hunting dog, his stance is called pointing, he's standing very still waiting for the command to flush out pheasants or other birds so the hunter has a clear shot to shoot.
The beautiful coffee pot with no lid would have sold because of how decorative it is and as most would use it for flower arrangements ,which was my thought, lid would not have mattered ..Some early decorative plates with flowers on you walk past I think of the ladies I follow on here who have them on the walls and include them in their arts and crafts..they are gorgeous ,very collectible and no doubt would go as a lot have shabby farmhouse styles .. I am sad sometimes we don’t seem to get so much over in the U.K. of them, but I am disabled now and can’t get around the antique places like yours ,the bigger ones and fares and we have not got large goodwill shops like you have and they charge a lot for the good stuff lol ..Most who work in there do EBay no doubt lol ..Love your videos ,I have to admit there a bit addictive ha ha 😀
I know why I love watching you the best because u are better than all the rest .love to go with u to the antique mall . love the things you show from the tiny or tall .keep it up Jocelyn.
The amount of items that catch my eye are astounding. As another RUclipsr says 'I want all the things!'. That last piece was gorgeous and different. Love the man's face on the planter! Great features. Thank you for such beauty to start my day with!
🦋Next week I'm going exploring in my area. I've only been here (North Carolina) since February, and with now being in Phase 2 and I've got cabin fever...I'm going to an Antique Mall. I'm very excited, and will probably be just looking...maybe. I'll be looking for Salmon Falls pieces. I appreciate your passing on your vast information.
Thank you for the welcome. I’ve met many from the state of NY, where I use to live. Everyone is so welcoming. I love the Mission Thrift Stores, they contribute to the community. Dorcas is one the Guardian Angels and Thrift 2 Gift is another in Cary. Prices are very reasonable.
Love that art glass bird despite the cloudy bottom. I have trouble saying no to birds lol! Agree about the glaze on the mccoy bird planter. That piece was gorgeous! I love that color! The last piece was beautiful.
Janette, naw, you’re not going to be drawn and quartered life’s too short for that. I like all the different styles of Jocelyn’s videos, some a bit more than others. I guess that’s why Baskin Robbins has all those flavors. Boy, would a big old ice cream cone taste good right now. 😊
I enjoyed this video so much, it felt like I was perusing the booths myself. The background sounds add to that feeling and seeing such beautiful “treasures “ is a treat, a nice respite from these challenging times. 😊
I chuckle when the Pier One, Target, Marshall’s, etc. pieces fool even you! Even with all your years of picking, if you get tripped up once in a blue moon, there’s hope for me. Is the Asian man yellow green planter Copley? Nice picks.
The bird looks like a Murano piece. I have a dog, that is murano, with a lot of the same design. I had that round phone as a teenager! I loved that phone!
On your art glass the pinched dish with a very flat ground bottom, check out chalet glass, if it is it's made by brothers that used to work for marano. They move to Canada to open shop.
I saw my Chalkware Piggy; I screamed when I saw him. He is the biggest and best ever. I've had his twin since I was 4. I'm 46 now. If you were closer and chalkware wasn't so terrible to ship I would whine for him...okay I'm whining.. He really needs to experience manifest destiny, and reunite with his twin in Washington State...
Would love for you to do a video about how you research the makers and marks. I know you’ve done it so long a lot of it is in your head but how do you research when you’re not sure… Love watching you!
I share a lot with my viewers about my life, but I do not feel like publicly discussing my friendship with Sue. If you’re missing Sue, you can find her on her channel SueMe-which I have linked in all my video descriptions. She has some great shopping trips to Bedford Antiques.
I just started watching your channel and I love it! Lots of information I’m learning a lot. I love to go to thrift stores and antique shops. Where did you learn about the different brands and stuff?
I hate to be a fun sponge ( party pooper) I love your haul videos ,,,, but with the fans and music competing with you is it not possible to do a voiceover VERY hard to hear you xx
Do you keep or shop for any items for yourself or all resale? If you keep items, what type of things do you tend to keep? Boy, the music is a bit loud there!
Just started watching y’all’s videos and I am excited to see what y’all buy! Did y’all study antiquities in school? I am interested in how y’all know so much about peices just by seeing them. It’s amazing to me!
The letter holder is lovely but I dont think it is Prussian. The Art Modern style post dates the dissolution of the Prussian kingdom by a few years. The applied flower seems odd. Beware of reproductions. I'm sure it will do well, regardless. I dont know everything about RS Prussia!
I LOVE that you’ve added the resale prices on the screen the last two videos!
I love the salt and pepper of the dog it was awesome.
I enjoy these antique shop alongs while you explain items you look at. It's like field trip.
I have that same panther in black. Except he is much bigger and is for the top of the old fashioned televisions set. Also lights up. Still working after all these years. It's from the 50s.
Always love your videos! I find myself tilting my phone up or down trying catch a glimpse of things high or low....lol
The copper angel fish picture could be a craft piece. This type of work was quite popular to do in the mid fifties to the early sixties.
I love how you are putting the names and comps on the bottom! Thank you! Learning so much from you
I just checked your ebay page. That last piece is already at $76. You found a winner.
I always appreciate the education you provide on your shopping trips. You even take the time to talk about the pieces you don’t buy. I have learned so much since starting to watch you during the lock down.
Oh that tortoise at 3:46 I'm dying!! :-) That bird definitely looked like a quality piece, I'd have no problem calling it Murano!
My antique shop never has anything close to being cheap enough for resale. Love yours.
The dog 19:34 is a Springer Spaniel who is trained as a bird hunting dog, his stance is called pointing, he's standing very still waiting for the command to flush out pheasants or other birds so the hunter has a clear shot to shoot.
I thought he was cool.

Welcome to North Carolina!! Its a beautiful state, and I have loved it and its people for 33 years!☺️
I'm in NC as well and haven't been out thrifting or to antique malls yet. There are two very large ones not too far from us.

I thought the same 😂
Love that art glass bird despite the cloudy bottom. I have trouble saying no to birds lol! Agree about the glaze on the mccoy bird planter. That piece was gorgeous! I love that color! The last piece was beautiful.
That dog salt and pepper had a small jar with spoon in the shape of a fire hydrant and it sat in the middle of the two piece dog. Very cute set.
At the risk of being drawn and quartered, I have to say I enjoy these trips with you when you’re alone.
Janette, naw, you’re not going to be drawn and quartered life’s too short for that. I like all the different styles of Jocelyn’s videos, some a bit more than others. I guess that’s why Baskin Robbins has all those flavors. Boy, would a big old ice cream cone taste good right now. 😊
I love those little thistle animals you keep spotting. So much fun. I bet there would be bidding war on a lot of 2 or 3 because they are so cute.
Your antique mall stores and goodwill have such great prices. Mine here are crazy pricey!
Mine too in California
I have that metal fish dish! That turtle is fantastic. Wish I had it too.
That whole section of black cat pottery was fabulous
08:09 Wow that's a beautiful piece! Well without a lid.. it would look good with a flower arrangement in it. :0)
I enjoyed this video so much, it felt like I was perusing the booths myself. The background sounds add to that feeling and seeing such beautiful “treasures “ is a treat, a nice respite from these challenging times. 😊
I am so glad you got that bird, he is fabulous!
The lidless pot would make a beautiful vase. I understand why you did not buy it, but still. 😃 so much lovely stuff in this mall.... 🤤
The awesome McCoy vases with the duck !
elephant was amazing at 15:10
I chuckle when the Pier One, Target, Marshall’s, etc. pieces fool even you! Even with all your years of picking, if you get tripped up once in a blue moon, there’s hope for me. Is the Asian man yellow green planter Copley? Nice picks.

On your art glass the pinched dish with a very flat ground bottom, check out chalet glass, if it is it's made by brothers that used to work for marano. They move to Canada to open shop.

Always such great pieces. That Murano bird is so flippin cool!! Shipping may be tricky but that's not your problem lol!!
Great picks! Looking forward to the haul video to see what your research tells you about the pieces!
I saw my Chalkware Piggy; I screamed when I saw him. He is the biggest and best ever. I've had his twin since I was 4. I'm 46 now. Would love for you to do a video about how you research the makers and marks. I know you’ve done it so long a lot of it is in your head but how do you research when you’re not sure… Love watching you!
What has happened to you and Sue's shopping adventures?
I have wondered that as well.
I was wondering the same thing..I miss her.
@@paulinewehrer4642 I'm wondering, too.
I'm sure that they will have more adventurous.
I share a lot with my viewers about my life, but I do not feel like publicly discussing my friendship with Sue. If you’re missing Sue, you can find her on her channel SueMe-which I have linked in all my video descriptions. She has some great shopping trips to Bedford Antiques.
Amazing haul!
Finally someone else knows what Hagen Renaker is. PTL!
My grandmother had a black cat teapot in her cat collection...want!!
Put back the cracked Asian yellow planter and get the blue panther. It's only a $6 difference for a nicer piece without cracks.
those Nina Lyman dogs are 35 - 50 on Etsy!
Always such great finds. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for doing them!!
at 14:04, you passed a swan, how much was it i wonder?
The evil giant rabbit mask thing at 5 minutes is so weird!
Finally someone else knows what “Hagen Renaker” is! PTL!

I just started watching your channel and I love it! Lots of information I’m learning a lot. I love to go to thrift stores and antique shops. Where did you learn about the different brands and stuff?
Siamese cats at 1:47 made me think of the Olsen twins. What is that all about? !
What was the little brass bell with the African head?
Loved video thank you for sharing.
Hey, how come no more "it's got a bird on it" when there is...I 'd like to cross off that Bingo space!
You mentioned Occupied Japan. My Mom has an Occupied Japan Cottage Tea Pot.
Nice unusual finds this trip.
I hate to be a fun sponge ( party pooper) I love your haul videos ,,,, but with the fans and music competing with you is it not possible to do a voiceover VERY hard to hear you xx
What does a cloudy bottom usually mean on a paperweight like the bird you picked up? China?
I have a big penguin made out of seashells! He has lasted longer than my 1st marriage did! I bought it while on my honeymoon during my 1st marriage!
Do you keep or shop for any items for yourself or all resale?
If you keep items, what type of things do you tend to keep?
Boy, the music is a bit loud there!
7:25 now thats something i wouldn't mind finding out in the wild.
Did u go back for the McCoy vases you missed?
At least they have great taste in music . Lol
I can’t believe you didn’t get blue panther
Just started watching y’all’s videos and I am excited to see what y’all buy! Did y’all study antiquities in school? I am interested in how y’all know so much about peices just by seeing them. It’s amazing to me!
I want a t shirt that says “cloudy bottom”.
New to your channel llove your video's.
I like the “small blue vase with flowers” also
You should have bought that large dog and used him as a display piece in the Banana Box.
That last piece is beautiful. I don't think it's rh Prussia.....I've never seen prussia with such a shinny glaze....have u?
Absolutely definitely maybe.. lol
😊
That tin picture looks like a soviet hammered piece.
That green Asian head vase seems to have a crack going all along the bottom. 🙁
Hi 👋🏻
The letter holder is lovely but I dont think it is Prussian. The Art Modern style post dates the dissolution of the Prussian kingdom by a few years. The applied flower seems odd. Beware of reproductions. I'm sure it will do well, regardless. I dont know everything about RS Prussia!
That was a lot of ads...
She gets paid for the ads if you watch 30 seconds. Then skip that puppy🥰
Someone’s getting greedy
Kimber Mac I wouldn’t call it greedy. It’s called having a job and earning a living.
❤️❤️❤️
