I just find it incredible how much old stuff there is out there, stuff that can be used for years yet and things that are really beautiful and so well made. Most of the things in that store will never be sold. It's just so sad that piles and piles of new stuff is made every day, all over the world. It's fantastic that people like you treasure these objects.
I love the creaky floors. Reminds me of the old stores downtown in my hometown and memories of going with my Daddy & Granddaddy on Saturdays! I was fascinated by all the old cabinets at the hardware store & how they would weigh out seeds and put in small brown paper bags. I guess I have always liked 'old stuff'.
Wow you brought back a very similar memory for me! I so remember my daddy going to the “feed store” for feed, seeds and such. I haven’t thought about the small brown paper bags (sometimes large ones 😊) they used for the seeds in 4ever! Thanks for the comment because you made me smile thinking of those good ole times with my daddy! He was definitely the best daddy in the world and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him more than the day before! I’ll be seeing him again one day but it sure is hard missing him in this here and now! 😓 TY again ❤️😇
That quilt is a steel, even with the stain. The pattern is stunning, & so much work. I hope you buy it. It will make you smile every time you see it 😁 😱 ❤️ 👍👍👍
I really like it that you hardly ever say "it's too expensive" NONE of the things are too expensive, they may be out side of your comfort zone, or some other less negative words, but NEVER too expensive :)
Of all the things you found today, you know I loved the quilt the most. What a fantastic find and at such a good price too. You were making out like a bandit today Joce and no mistake!
I love the paint by numbers seascape!! It was my favorite out of the 3. But they were all good :). Not judging, agreeing with your decision. Good choices!!!
I love the colors and pattern of the quilt too. If the white cat statue doesn’t get along with your tan one, she could live in EBay land or the shop. Somebody will adopt her. Oooh beautiful Fenton vase. Nakey-nakey cherub! Green art glass ashtray, so pretty. Nice finds.
It’s so cool to be a part of your journey, watching this older video & seeing how ur knowledge has grown. And you’ve taught me some awesome things. I’ve picked up art pottery now and never appreciated the artistry before. Thank you for that Jocelyn. ❤
Oh my! I loved so many of your purchases but my absolute favourite is the pocket watch trinket dish😍😍😍😍😍😍. I nearly burst a brain vessel waiting for you to decide LOL ...Guess I could have fast forward your video 😆😆😆 but only just thought of it! Thank you for such a delicious time watching all these gorgeous pieces.
What 9.50. wow almost as good a find as the phaltzgraff leaf. Yeah it was as good too. Lol. I wish I could one time walk in Goodwill and it be stocked just like yours. And I want a finders keepers or at least visit one. Thanks for showing us the goods. I live every trip you take us on.
That ironstone collection was awesome! I know you said you don't tend to buy it... but wonderful to see! and love the sound of the old creaky floors..makes the treasure hunting more fun.. :)
People collect the paint by numbers for gallery walls. Get a bunch of them along a theme or mix a couple with other interesting bits and you have a really effective display that's quirky and individual but cheaper than original art.
Amy Cornwell I used one for my daughters room when she was little. It was vintage. I bought some stained and damage ones so I could cut up and made pillows and a slip cover for a wingback.
My sister and I each painted horse paint-by-number pictures and gave to our grandmother. She framed them and put up on her wall and those horse paintings were there until the day she died! My father and brothers cleared the house after she died and I asked for the paintings but they had already thrown away all the “junk!” I was so disappointed, would love to have had that paint-by-number “junk!”
A paint by number set of cats and dogs I did as a ten year old in the early 70s now hang framed in my 8 year old grandaughter’s bedroom. She actually asked for them for her birthday! I also bought her a kit so that she can give it a try herself.
@@lalasventure8922 That's right!!!! When I read your comment that smell came to me. And remember how much better we got the more we did...like paying close attention to getting the paint exactly in the lines. Now I'm wanting to do a paint by numbers kit. Also there are apps that are paint by the numbers...not the same but kind of fun ❤💚💜💙💛
Love the sound of the creaky Floors. I wish I could get used to your lack of action when I am yelling at you to go back and pick up the “thingy or the rusty do-hicky” I would like to look at!
Being a quilter, I wish you wouldn't purchase a Chinese prison quilt. You can tell them by how bad the stitches are done and by choice of fabrics. They reproduce quilts to look like old valuable ones that our grandparents made. 😢
I like to think she has to show. I am learning a lot from her. I'm a reseller here in El Paso I learned so much from Jocelyn. I couldn't ask for anything more. She explains the items she tells you what the word she shows me the antiques and tells me the names and I love which has to show me I wantna be just good it wasn't for Jocelyn I love her or work I love her for explaining I love her smile I love the way. She likes makes me laugh. I like everything about Johnson here from El Paso. Hi Jocelyn, and thank you.l
05:33 I want that toy cupboard.. for no known good reason. 08:07 - GRAB THAT QUILT. You can't buy good cotton batting for that. It's a really old design. For $15 you can't miss.
Turn out the lights and just use your phone as a light and it would be really scary walking around on those squeaky floors & stairs. Then seeing that doll with the one eye YIKES that’s a scary movie and I’m outta there!
My mom’s wedding “china” is the Fransiscan Ivy. She married in 1953. I’ve never seen you come across any in your travels. I pick it up whenever I see some but it is kind of like searching for dinosaur eggs! Lol I look forward to your videos every day!! ❤️
In 1967 my mom bought a whole set of the Ivy Fransiscan at a garage sale. She said it was the same pattern that Lucy used on the I love Lucy show. I've handed it down to one of my daughters.
My sister also found a set at a garage sale in the 80s and gave me a platter. We were both newlyweds at the time. I still use it all the time! And yes, it was on the Lucy show!
13:51 That black industrial desk lamp looks cool with that 5$ blue vase 23:23, on a mcm desk. Atomic age. It looks a bit roughened up, but that can add to authenticity.
Dude! Is ALL of that Paul’s? How in the world do you move in that place. I must say, I am IN LOVEEEEE with all of those jelly cabinets! He has the best collections!
Maybe I'm weird but I love the creaky old floors and the roar and hum of that old building full of antiques. My version of heaven! Lol. Great job!
Reba Hensley I especially like it while I’m sitting in my 71 degree home!
@@debbiedobbs5800 I liked this video so much I watched it twice, lol, trying to take it all in!
Reba Hensley, Me too ❤️

So glad you didn't talk yourself out of that pocketwatch trinket dish.
It really is special.
I love the creaking floorboards. Memories of my grandparents house.
Paint by numbers!! SCORE!!! Those creaky floors are a sound that soothes my soul. The stories those floors could tell!! 🥰🥰🥰
"Everybody else is doin' it." Gave me a smile. 😉
I recently bought my sister a vintage paint 🎨 by numbers horse. She loves it. I'm drawn to them for some reason. Cheers.

Love, love, love the little black plate with the stick figure!
I just love the treasure hunting at Bedford St. I love the creaking of the floors too. Your friend Paul has a lovely set up
So-many-treasures and a creaky floor!
I ❤️ the Bedford Antique Mall!
That quilt is a steel, even with the stain. The pattern is stunning, & so much work. I hope you buy it. It will make you smile every time you see it 😁 😱 ❤️ 👍👍👍
That little cherub on the butterfly, adorable!
Love the information you give. I don't shop for anything like this because of money but I enjoy watching you shop and the information you have.
Only you can pull something out of a random bowl and it will have a bird on it! Lol!
I really like it that you hardly ever say "it's too expensive" NONE of the things are too expensive, they may be out side of your comfort zone, or some other less negative words, but NEVER too expensive :)
Oh wow, my heart started pounding at 6:27 when I saw all that white ironstone!
Thank God, most people don't just throw old things away!!!

Girl I'm hooked on your channel. I have been binge-watching old videos for days. Literally all day and all night on and off😂❤❤
Vintage paint by numbers are awesome. Sold 6 in last 2 weeks. Got brand new old stock and sold $50 each overnight. Crazy good!

That mall is amazing 👏
I love the paint by numbers, they have such a fabulously kitschy feel
I've had good luck with paint by numbers!
Glad you went back for the blue Royal Haegar.😊
When I saw it in her basket I thought to myself, I knew you’d get it! Haha
Loved that white & copper piece of glass that was $30... that was gorgeous.
Anybody else get too excited when she pointed out the Bradley dolls?
I collect them.💖🙈
A friend of mine collects them and told me they are hard to find “in the wild”. Happy to see them here 😃

I’m crazy for Art Glass , you have great taste in your choices.
There was a chenille bedspread in the pile where you looked at the quilt. Chenille bedspreads are a good buy!!!!
Amy Cornwell I used one for my daughters room when she was little. It was vintage. I bought some stained and damage ones so I could cut up and made pillows and a slip cover for a wingback.
"...this one has a bird on it."
Starting off with the blessing, I see.😏 This one is going to be good. *sips*
Saw that Hagar hiding in there! I knew you could not leave it behind!!!😂👍 I like paint by number.
I must say I have really gotten into art glass. I noticed it before and liked it but now I'm obsessed. Anytime I see it I'm like ooo I want it lol.
I found a Shawnee giraffe just like that a couple weeks ago I was so excited 😊
Blue swirl enameled pot at 7:15! That quilt is awesome!
Second...the soonest I've ever been ❤💚💜💙💛
p.s. My 2 sisters and I used to do the paint by number kits all the time in the 60s...oh the memories.
I can still in my head smell the paint that came with the paint by numbers! Those were the truly good times! ❤️😇

Carol Gleeson sweet.
Amazing haul! The giraffe heads are gorgeous! And all the Murano! Such bargains
Quilt is from China, they sold faux looking quilts by the cart load in the 80s and 90s.
I ADORE THAT WOOD CRATE WITH THE STRAWBERRIES!!! I WANT!!!
Beautiful white vase with blue rim
You missed a McCoy " thinking Puppy" cookie jar and a Shawnee pig cookie jar!!! (9:30 timestamp)
I love the art glass u buy!
I just scored milk glass tea cups with the lunch plates set of 6 for $13 at a antique store!
Why doesn't she love milk glass I love them. Or did I misunderstand.
I really loved that picture made by Edward Ripley
I loved the very last thing u picked up u called it art lol💕
That place looks like Heaven!
Love the sound of the creaky Floors. I wish I could get used to your lack of action when I am yelling at you to go back and pick up the “thingy or the rusty do-hicky” I would like to look at!
I want a paint by numbers SO bad!
Ah should of gotten the white kitty with green eyes. He could of been a buddy for your brown one at home!
I would love to find paint by numbers for $7.00! Great find.
I must watch for the giraffes. I need it in my life.
Beautiful quilt.
That quilt is a steal. Glad you picked it up.
@26:58 the Saturn Lamp !!! I was dying inside !!!
Really been enjoying your shopping vids and hearing the narrative on the items.
I would definitely be interested in your quilts!

Could you please tell me the difference in a older quilter and a kinda new version. If you have time. Thank you!!
Chinese prisoners??
Yes, slave labor in China.v

Another fun adventure! I love the Bradley big eye dolls and collect them. I'd love to know how they were priced.
Turn out the lights and just use your phone as a light and it would be really scary walking around on those squeaky floors & stairs. Then seeing that doll with the one eye YIKES that’s a scary movie and I’m outta there!
Wow! So much nice stuff AND of course I wanted to be able to check out some things you passed up. 😂🤷♀️
Can you please take out your busy schedule to explain the difference between a vintage quilt and a regular older quilt. Please and Thank You!!!
Background noise is pretty intense... appreciate your sharing. Beautiful stuff!
Wedgwood heart!! Yes please!!
19:13 NICE birdie biscuit jar!
Hi Jocelyn ! Just wondering if you ever got that beautiful blue and white quilt that you loved so much..( I forget what antique shop it was in..)🙂

I think she did one time a while ago. It was just one piece.

If I ever find any Franciscan I will pick it up for you. I don’t go much but I will look for it

U missed a parrot & large sky blue ruffled. Ase that was huge behind stuff!!!
So many great things!
The quilt you liked for $15 is imported from China - I had the same exact one in the 90’s.
I expected the quilt to say "Souvenir of Mexico" for $15!😅
Good price for the paint by numbers. And no, paint by numbers arent a 'new' popular thing. They have been popular for a very long time.
I think the covered duck dish was included in the flat. I think I saw the price of the flat of $5. Not sure only showed for a second.
Dude! Is ALL of that Paul’s? How in the world do you move in that place. I must say, I am IN LOVEEEEE with all of those jelly cabinets! He has the best collections!
I pick the exact same thing you do. I just know I like it, you of course know what it is, how much it is worth, where it was made...etc. 😂😂
Can you please throw in a piece of pink depression glass every now and then. Seems to do well on your eBay. I keep getting out bid...lolol.
My folks had a cat like that but the eyes were jewels. 🤣
