I had the perfect amount of time to do a quick shop through of the Shops At The Old Shed in Weyers Cave Virginia. I've picked this place before but I've kept it under wraps because it is kinda my little honey-hole of good deals on smalls and sometimes even bigger pieces! But I'm feeling generous and think it's time to let you all in on one of my best kept secrets. The S.A.T.O.S. is setup like an antique mall but feels more like a thrifting shopping experience with these amazing prices. I mean... Where else can you find a cream, 6 ft, vintage Christmas tree for $10? Let me know what ya'll think of my shopping experience at the S.A.T.O.S! I love booths like these that are not that curated, best way to find treasures at a steal.

Sorry Amanda but we are going to need a few more details about the "secret project". Is it for resell? Is it a hobby? Lots of clear glass in that haul. I had a thought about the grey clock thing. It would make a great trash can for those candy wrappers.

I thought you forgot the mg bowl !! It's unique and I love mg!! Can't wait to see the clock base plant holder !! Sounds whimsical and will draw people in !!
I think the green wall rack is for baseball bat, the ball sits on the cut out circle, and on the pegs hang your glove and your hat. Probably that green in homage to the green monster at Fenway Park.

Interesting! I looked at it to try to figure out what I would use it for. My thoughts went to jewelry! Paint it, put a dowel rod in to hang bracelets. Hang necklaces off the pegs. Not sure what I would do with hole! Maybe rest a trinket dish in it? But now I can't unsee baseball and Fenway Park! 😅
That makes sense! The 2 “hooks” at the top aren’t level so a bat holder makes perfect sense! A dowel would be slanted.
The two hooks at the top would be cute with coffee mugs.

Great haul! That little green shelf thing is for holding your blow dryer (barrel fits into that hole) and a curling iron (across the two top hooks). I have one painted a distressed cream color that I got years ago. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those turtle trinket boxes! Those are my favorites of this haul!
I had a green wall hanger like that. It was for my softball gear. Bat laid across the top, ball went in hole, gloves hung from pegs…

If you haven't already, try an old-fashioned electric heating pad for your back. They work miracles for back pain!
That bowl with silver rim on top and a sticker is actually crystal and the information of 20% pbo means it is lead crystal and probably not suitable for food, just as decor.

Every booth in that antique mall looks like a normal ugly booth. Yours is so good. Why can’t everybody do a booth like you seriously? You should have people pay you to do their booths. They would sell so much more. You are good!

Honestly, not everyone is as gifted as Amanda in staging. I have 15 years of experience of selling and even i struggle to stage things properly. I think some people either have less time to do so, or perhaps its just a way for them to try to unload some stuff. But like someone said in a comment, you're going to have a better chance of finding some hidden deals/gems in booths like these. The super curated booths almost always charge a premium beccause they've done the work for you to give you ideas how to use the products.

Humm, apothecary, containers, maybe "Dark Academia" thinking of doing a small room, not used for anything, just stuff, old books, dark walls, love your dark walls in your booth, old bookcases, apothecary jars, with unusual stuff in side them old world globes, maybe an old stuffed owl, brass lamps, 1930's desk, large wooden handled, paint brushes in a brass, coal carrier, on the floor, old ceramic, dog or cat, that chalk board, dried money flowers, old door stops, throw in a bit of Egyptian revival stuff, ya I have plans, try it what could it hurt, love ya❤ you are a bright light of sunshine for me this Winter!😊
Do you price your items before you pack them up for fall or luckets?
I love it! Your displays are always amazing and very inspiring. Do you measure most items or create a mock setup at home before setting up the displays in the booth? Everything (size wise) just seems to slide right into place.

Shelf is for curling iron hairdryer. I am sure you will come up with something great.
Several people earlier said it was a holder for baseball, glove, bat and trophy as some had them. Since it is wood, that seems more likely than for a curling iron which you wouldn’t want to put on the rack while hot.

I was obsessively looking for green clothes the past year, it looks great with my pink hair. Then I found out a few weeks ago, green is really in. I love green with pink or purple because they are such high contrast. I love that green shelf, it would also be cute with white daisies with the yellow centers 🤔

That green shelf is for baseball. A bat rests across the top hole is to rest a ball and the hooks are to hand your mit and awards. But i love your ideas to restyle it.
Those heavy clear glass ashtrays are cigar ashtrays & might by crystal. I recently sold one in my booth that still had label saying it was crystal.
