It has to be instant, due to the way that instant coffee is made (instant coffee has soy lecithin in it, allowing for the emulsification and stabilization of the foaming). There's a little more to it, but that's the simplified reasoning.
I tried this because I knew it would work because I had the same one and I notice that mine started looking black and it wasn't just black and then I asked my mom and she said that's not instant coffee that's coffee grounds with the regular stuff so badly yeah my day was ruined
Agreed. That's waaaay to much instant, I'd drop it to 2 or 3 teaspoons, and use organic coffee and raw milk (cow or goat). This looks like it'd be good.
It's really not that much caffeine honestly. It's around 120 mg of caffeine.......which obvs is more than a cup of normal coffee (8 oz). but it's less than half the amount of caffeine in the average energy drink.
Like she said, you can cut the recipe in half (1TB instant coffee instead) as long as you have equal parts water to coffee, as too much water will leave you with a watery and unstable foam. Too little of a mixture, and it'd be difficult to mix, or you can pre-mix a normal- or half-sized batch and divvy it up for up to 3 days as the foam dalgona part would stay stable in a sealed container for that long before it would break down and you'd need to re-blend it.
If you don't have a whisk, you can pour the mixture into a bottle and give it a good shake!!
have to try it that way just to say I did it lol
Thank you! I just got my ‘frother’ exactly like that one….from Amazon today.
Great recipe I made it today I mess up by adding to much water but it was still great
Looks sooo good and super simple to do! Love this ♥️
Thank you so much!! ♥♥♥
Wonder in it would be good in protein shake vanilla.
Tried this. Definitely recommend 1 tbsp- 1 1/2 tbsp instead of 2. (Because it was really strong)
I just made coffee and it wasn't caramelized but light caramelized so it came out perfectly
mine i put an extra whip cream on top for presentation and it taste good too..
Wow, looks deli!
Thank you!! ♥
Does it have to be instant coffee or can it be 2 spoons of regular coffee that you put in a coffee maker?
What does regular coffee mean? It has to be instant coffee, otherwise, it won't dissolve easily
@@rexelliz see above
instant

I tried this but after frothing, the creamy consistency became super bubbly and disappeared. Do you know why this happened?
Too much watery and didn’t whisk properly

Lol sorry that made me laugh
😂
😂❤
😂 I never used a french press years ago and I put instant coffee in it 😅
What type of milk is she using?
It looks like greenwise fat free organic milk from publix.
I can't get mine to froth like that

How is your dalgona?
Anyone try this? Can I use stevia or other sweetener, cuz I don’t do sugar. Dang! That look so good though!
Yes, you can! You can make it with or without sugar. You can also use stevia and other alternatives! ♥
I'm going to use coconut sugar - much milder and has some benefit rather than being negative. Cheers~
use honey thanks
I personally never drink a 2-tabble spoon coffee drink. Isn't that a bit too much of caffeine and pretty much pressure on your heart?

I used the same method with zulay blender didn’t work 👎
What if I wanted hot coffee?
Hot milk 🤷🏻🤷🏻
Frost your dalgona coffee and add hot coffee after that
