I just did that today to make an ultra fast-produced lyrics video seem a little more interesting. Like you "see" the sound, without knowing why. Also, it is really a lot of fun to combine FreqReact with Twitch by Videocopilot, not just Element 3D. I love your work, Davey!
That's a good tip, I'll probably include something like it in a future tutorial. DigitalPunk taught me that you can even use separate layer that's simply a white matte, and then react the opacity of that layer to give a similar subtle effect. Cheers!

These are royalty free beats that I downloaded using my Splice Sounds subscription. Although you have to be kind of savvy to find them on that site, it's not actually meant to be used how I use it. However I'll be making beats of my own for upcoming tutorials and will be releasing it for everyone to use with FreqReact! Stay tuned.
I know they are overdue, but they are on the way. I kinda overworked myself pushing v1.5 out and needed a few days off. I'm now feeling better than ever and will be focusing on all of the tuts for some weeks to come. Subscribe if you haven't already!
