Don looked like Dad so Phil must have looked like Mom. These brothers had it all when it came to singing and they were very easy on the eyes. I can see where they got their great hair, too. I listen to their music all the time and thankful I was around when they were at the peak of their fame. I was 6 yrs old and walking hand in hand with my best friend and we'd sing Dream Dream Dream knowing all the lyrics. The Everly's are LEGEND and for me will always be.
Don, the last brother in this duet, died Saturday, August 21, 2021. 10 years after losing his brother Phil. RIP, they are reunited and probably singing again. They will be missed.
This piece from "Rock 'N Roll Odyssey" is just DARLING! We get a glimpse of Ike as a natural radio talent. Love his good natured humor. And isn't Phil the cutest?
Johnny Cash show, around 1970. Father said back then was when the Everlys sounded good. This was part of the UK special, "Songs Of Innocense" and that was not on there.
I was shocked to read this when I found it online.I wonder if the brothers and their Dad were in contact with James at all?Actor singer James Best was their 1st cousin who was orphaned and adopted.Best was born on July 26, 1926, in Powderly, Kentucky, to Lark and Lena (née Everly) Guy.Lena Guy's brother was Ike Everly, the father of the pop duo the Everly Brothers. After his mother died of tuberculosis in 1929, then three-year-old James was sent to live in an orphanage. He was later adopted by Armen Best (1897-1984) and his wife, Essa Myrtle (née Knowland; 1896-1988) and went to live with them in Corydon, Indiana. He was funny on the Dukes of Hazzard.
+1 to Ike Everly. 🤣 He honestly set that up and despite the fact the whole "...I'd rather be a little bird and let you have it... (from up high)" was funny, I'd still say their Dad won that round!
Thanks to my wounderful friend ebfan41 and to zbeez55 for sendin and sharin . This was great and I enjoyed thanks so much for sharin. God Bless, Hugs & Smiles, Love, Jan
These clips & photos are wonderful--but where are the photos with the Everlys in their Marine dress uniforms?? Thanks for your service to the USA! granny65 albuq.
Thanxx. Memory insists there was a third brother who wanted to be part of the group but wasn't allowed. No one else remembers this so my must be wrong.
Great voices, excellent hair genes.

Es ist aber ganz offensichtlich, dass Phil wie der Papa aussah und Don wie Mama.😊
Beautiful singers. Beautiful men. Love to both out there in the universe now....❤
You could see the love and respect for their daddy.

Phil died in 2014
A gem! Phil became like a little boy in the presence of his daddy.
Absolutely. It was adorable to witness.
This is one of my favorite video. Dad seemed like a lovely man.
Phil had the cutest smile...and the sweetest personality.
The Everly Brothers were the greatest.
I just can't watch this enough and I just can't watch this and not belly laugh..😂
What gorgeous son's Ike and Margaret had..🎼🖤
Handsome and talented parents, handsome and talented kids.....
This is priceless. Thank you
2 lovely brother duo that we haven't seen " copied " since .
My dad used to pick guitars with Ike Everly in Central City KY.
Such Great chemistry...So funny! Priceless!! RIP Phil ( Thank you for these wonderful memories and music ).*
Wie wundervoll, dass es diesen Phil hier auf der Erde gab. Ein herzlicher Mensch. Danke dafür. Love
I absolutely love this! Phil is just so adorable....I'm sure my heart was doing a little flutter... :) Thanks so much for the upload.
As most should already know by now, we lost Phil Everly yesterday, at the age of 74.
RIP, Phil.
R.I.P. Phil. :'( You will be dearly missed.
Mark Lassman He was the same age as me. I am 74 years old also. May he Rest In Peace.
Phil Everly was a lovely man who had a big heart. A unique voice and he was so gorgeous too. Love and miss you Phil, forever Rest in Peace
Phil was adorable...
Absolutely adorable!!
That was the most wonderful music since W. Mozart
I saw Ike play at the Royal Albert Hall in the early 70s, he was a fantastic guitarist.
Nice Video from the Everly Brothers Family.
Love you all, great video
They both look like their father so much!
I think Don looks like their father. Phil probably looks like their mother.
By the way, their mother is still alive at 100...
P A yes I know that she is and I hope she is well!!
It must be strange for Don to still have a parent around while he has already crossed the average life exspectancy himself. But great!
P A it must be wonderful!! I wish my mom was still alive.
Wow! Thank you for this wonderful, heart warming post, Harry Brus. God bless you!

As a young teen I was so in love with both of them and played all their music all the time. RIP Phil and Don.
Wow Harry - how does an Aussie come up with a treasure like this? Very special.
+allymayful I think it's from a BBC documentary broadcast in the UK in 1983 when The Everlys did their Albert Hall concert.
That's great!
Duets don’t come any better. I stole everything I could from their harmonies. So did everyone else. You know who you are!
Amazing
No wonder those boys are so Handsome! That Father is one Handsome Man! 😊❤
Precious funny family moment. Phil was genuinely the sweetest ❤

Isn't Phil sweet in this piece. I just love him. Thanks so much.

Fun!
Very good to see Father and sons together ❤️

You must be thinking of someone else? The Bee Gee's??
Why did you cut it off?
I guess that was well rehearsed .
My Friend, what TV or video program is this from ?
Nice
Isn't there a younger Everly Brother?
No there were only two of them.
@sugarlanskee8 - Only "Little Donnie" and "Baby Boy Phil."
