- Invisible Sliding Door System! (Magic2 Hidden Track Hardware) Watch as we show you how to install another Magic 2 wall mounted sliding track sliding door system!
If you're looking to add a sliding door, but not looking to stare at the track all the time, we've got the solution!
Touted as the original invisible sliding door system, the Magic2 wall mounted sliding door system (designed and produced in Italy by Terno Scorrevoli) completely conceals the track to create the illusion of a floating door, giving you the option to install it in places you normally wouldn't!

So worth the extra work to install! Thanks for sharing another cool product and showing us how to install it 😀
Our pleasure!
Awesomeness
Will this work with a standard 6'-8" existing door? As in just remove the hinges and trim or does the door have to be taller than the actual opening? Thanks!
Hi, I am installing two of these doors systems this week. I was wondering, the wall mounted wheels, do those just get screwed into sheetrock or do they have to get anchored into a stud? I see they have screw anchors, so was thinking just into the sheetrock. If so, I assume 100% of the weight is on the floor rollers? Thank you!!
I have read a number of mixed reviews on the Magic 2 system. From your comments you seem happy with it, how has it held up over time, a lot of the parts seem to be plastic, any breakage? Do the rollers have bearings? Can you hear the rollers? I am looking to install in a bedroom so would like it quiet. Any other brands you have used that you would recommend or stay away from?
We haven’t had any call backs on the Magic 2 system (installed a few 7 years ago) fingers crossed 🤞. A few parts are plastic, but the main components are metal and the hardware is definitely sturdy and well designed as far as we can tell (we’re not engineers 😂). They operate super quietly (don’t believe you can hear the rollers at all), and we continue to install them on projects all the time. Hope that helps 👍.
Hi. Thanks for great video.
I'm considering same system and have some questions. It will be great if you let me know following information.
Is it possible to know the minimum clearance between upper surface of door and ceiling?
I'm also wondering minimum distance between door opening to ceiling.
Thanks in advance~
Everything you need to know, you'll find in here 😉 : www.richelieu.com/documents/docsGr/119/854/3/1198543/1405176.pdf
Hello. I have a difficult space (mechanical closet) that has not worked well with the the 'usual' bi-fold track doors. Could this system be installed in a large opening (60") using 2 smaller doors (approx 32"), each door sliding in opposite directions and meeting in the middle when closed (each door would have a handle). Thus, one could slide open either the right side, the left side, or both sides. I am very interested in this system, but cannot install one very large door to slide (I don't have the sufficient space on either side of the opening to completely accommodate a door that size in order to expose entire 60" opening).
It’s really hard to say without knowing more, but It sounds like a plausible solution to us 👍 I’ll attach a link to the specs so you can check to make sure it fits all your requirements 👉 www.richelieu.com/ca/en/category/sliding-system-solutions/sliding-solutions-for-architectural-applications/magic-2-legno-sliding-door-system/1198543
Do you know where find this in france thanks
Hi, we’re looking to install this as our living room door, can you advise if you need to buy a specific type of door (does it have to be bigger than a typical door for the same or a specific material for example or will any work?). Another question, is all the weight left to the wheels at the bottom of the door or is it shared between the wall and the floor? Just trying to understand if it would leave tracks on wooden flooring :)
Any door slab that is not mortised for hinges or drilled out for a door lock should work. I would recommend getting one at least 4 inches wider than the opening it is to cover. Feel free to reply if you have more questions. Fyi: I am a carpenter lol
I like your taste.
Quick question, I noticed that you were able to do this install on a door with minimal top clearance. The instruction on the website for this hardware always says that it requires 4in of top clearance space... so how has it worked so far with the door that you guys installed here?
That is correct, we just decided to try it with as minimal as possible. Makes working on it harder but it works with about 1/2” of clearance👍
How is it holding up a month later? Would you recommend it in an area that will be used multiple times a day?
We’ve installed a number of these over the years and haven’t had any complaints 👍
Have you thought of a flush closing system ?
I highly recommend investing in a track saw
😂 We have since acquired 2 of them. Good call 😉
When the door is open fully, is it flush with the door opening? Or can you adjust it to be?
Depending on your situation, you should be able to mount the hardware in a position that allows you to have the door fully flush with the opening 👍

👏👏👏👏👏👏
Where did you get the gear for the door?? Can you please advise me.
Sure, you can get it here: www.richelieu.com/ca/en/category/sliding-system-solutions/sliding-solutions-for-architectural-applications/magic-2-legno-sliding-door-system/1198543
or here:

Does this system have soft close?
It does 👍
Did you mill the top of the door to fit the hardware or did you just screw it onto the surface?
This one we didn’t mill the top of the door👍
@@RefreshHomeImprovementsawesome to hear. I want to buy this hardware but I don't have the tools to mill the door so I'm thinking of either installing it on the top and bottom of a door and then putting a bigger face on it to cover the hardware, or just screwing the hardware on the back. I'm not too concerned about how it looks in the back
Is this is your video or Milcasa???? You both have the same videos is confusing.
That is confusing! They are 100% our videos. We’re looking into it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention 👍
How one can get this in India
Can it be used on carpet flooring
Great question. The wheels that get routed into the bottom of the door aren't very big, so our best guess would be that it depends on how 'thick' the carpet is. If its a relatively low pile carpet with a thin underlay, it should still work- but we have never installed one on a carpet, so we cant say for sure 👍
i would not suggest any sliding doors with bottom wheels on carpet, even if they roll well, they will leave a track on carpet after a while.
@@andriskalvans563 great point 👍
Where can l buy this system?
Try Milcasa👍
Hallo, where can i get the reel?
Hey 👋, are you referring to the sliding door hardware?
Hardwares?
What about double doors?
Sure, absolutely!
Where can I order this product?
We've purchased it from a couple of places. You can get it from Richelieu here: www.richelieu.com/ca/en/category/sliding-system-solutions/sliding-solutions-for-architectural-applications/magic-2-legno-sliding-door-system/1198543
or Milcasa here: milcasastore.com/products/magic2-concealed-sliding-system-for-wood-doors
Can a child push on the bottom of the door and possibly cause it to fall?
We wouldn’t think so (but can’t say for sure). There is a mechanism on the track that locks in onto the wheel, and we’ve never seen or heard of it coming off unintentionally 👍
it is so sad that both of you are mute and never had the chance to speak and give the full instructions in how it is done...i guess u expect every viewer to be an expert builder right?? or mind reader right?
Can't find that track system anywhere. A link would help.
No problem 👍 www.richelieu.com/ca/en/category/sliding-system-solutions/sliding-solutions-for-architectural-applications/magic-2-legno-sliding-door-system/1198543
