Otis from Barnyard is canon transgender! He not only has utters but there is also the conformation scene when another boy cow mentions hanging out with Otis' sister when they were younger, and Otis is like "I don't have a sister." And the boy cow is like "OH right, that was you wasn't it." I never watched the show much, but someone posted this scene to r/trans. There's no other reasonable explanation for that conversation other than him legit being a transguy!
The cow telling him was actually his dad and the joke was that his dad is forgetful, it was also kind of a joke on how he wasn't masculine and his dad thought that his son wouldn't live up to his name, as he wasn't known as a tough guy 🤷
i wouldn't necessarily say the udders support it being canon cause im pretty sure every single cow in the movie and show is depicted with udders but it is an amazing head canon that i am 100% here for. sure every male cow with udders in it could just also be trans, but i don't think that was the intention of the creators
I think people don’t like trans headcannons because they see it as inherently bad but trans headcannons are very positive and just being like oh look this super awesome charaxter is trans too and they are figuring it out and being a super dupe superhero
Im autistic and i know that autistic headcanons are extremly popular within the community, from what i heard it even helps autistic kids understand themselves better with the idea that the character is autistic like them Thats how i view trans hcs too, i agree with brennan in that their not repesention in the same sense as a character being canonically trans but can help trans ppl with their experience
ooooh adding to the trans Danny theory; Stephen Silver, Danny's character designer said that Danny was trans some time ago, there's a video of that on TikTok and reposts on Twitter. He allegedly elaborated on that, saying that he didn't design Danny with him being trans in mind but he saw why people would think that and relate to Danny
I love the Dipper headcannons, but they kinda make me sad because it makes the way Stan and Mabel make fun of him sometimes just seem mean, or at the very least thoughtless. Especially since at least Mabel would know, but in that case just goes along with it/doesn't care. Although I've thought that maybe she goes along with it to avoid outing him? Maybe I'm just overthinking it though.
I headcannon Lake from infinity train as being nonbinary. She’s literally a reflection of tulip (the protagonist from the first season) and she’s freed from being stuck inside mirror. Once she gets out she chops all her hair off and dresses like Ryan. Lake is the protagonist of the second season and the whole time she’s basically trying to distance herself from tulip and become her own person. Then there’s this whole thing of her not being a “passenger,” like all of the people who get on the train have a number on their hand that allows them to get off the train, but she doesn’t have one and the other humans on the train attack her because she’s not one of them (it’s more complicated than that but i don’t wanna get into it)
It is canon, though! The writers weren't able to make it explicit in the show because Cartoon Network didn't allow them to, they wanted to make a lot of characters queer but that wasn't allowed.
Lake is 100% non-binary coded, from their story to their attitude and the way the writers almost never use gendered pronouns to refer to them. I think in the show she uses she/her pronouns, but seems not to care much about gendering.
As a trans person I love seeing people hc characters as queer and especially trans, but whenever I headcanon (whether believe they're gay or trans) I start feeling really guilty. There's a lot of discourse underneathe posts I see on instagram sometimes, especially in fandoms where there are a lot of 'dudebros' and it makes me personally really uncomfy when I start to hc characters because I can almost hear their rhetoric even if I do it in private. For some reason it makes me feel like I'm being problematic and a pain to everyone around me. Even with trusted friends I have a hard time saying "I believe this character is trans" because I've been told that it's a bad thing to do for so long. I really hope I can unlearn the stuff they drilled into me as a kid, because I feel like I'm such a pain whenever I say "hey I personally believe this character is x" so, uh, as a start. Anasui from Stone Ocean is very genderfluid and I wont be listening to any pushback.
I think, upon dwelling on it more, it's just that I've been made to feel guilty about outwardly expressing myself as a queer individual. I'm not being problematic, it's just a lot of people are being homophobic or transphobic and want to make others feel bad for expressing themself through media they also watch. They can't stand that where they might interpret a character as cis and straight, another person can interpret the same character as trans and gay. Wow this Brenemies episode, for how light hearted it is, really helped me deconstruct some deepseated stuff. Thank you. I've been going through a tough time right now and this has made me feel a lot better.
head canon a canonically male character as transmasc and nobody bats an eye. head canon a canonically female character as transmasc and society goes wild
I believe in trans Mark and Roger from RENT so hard. Both of them. I have nothing to support it, just the vibes. Like they're so different, Mark is an awkward film nerd and Roger is a depressed musician, what do they have in common to make such an endearingly close friendship? Maybe because they're both trans and somehow met and then bonded when they both came out to each other. That's all I got lmao
Star Trek Discovery also has a canonically non-binary character!! Their name is Adira and they are played by Blu del Barrio! Their boyfriend in the show is also played by a transmasc person, Ian Alexander!!
One of the clones in Orphan Black is a transman. He's only in 1 episode and is played by a ciswoman as he's supposed to be genetically identical to the other clones. The show is very LGBTQIA friendly.
To add to canon representation - Star Trek Discovery has a non-binary character (played by Blu del Barrio) and a transmasc character (played by Ian Alexander) who are part of the main cast from season 3 forward. Ian also played a trans character on Netflix show The OA and voiced a trans character in The Last of Us Part II.

Theo in chilling adventures of sabrina is trans! He has a little subplot about him discovering his identity. Literally played by a non-binary person, too. Don’t sleep on Lachlan Watson!
Here's some of mine: Seven Of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager. My theory is that she was a trans child who'd been on puberty blockers for a while when she was captured by The Borg. That's why when she starts becoming human again, she sticks with outfits that show her feminine body shape. The Doctor from Doctor Who: switches between genders when regenerating, therefore...non-binary. Disney's Aladdin: I just thought of this one now, I just think he kinda looks like he could be a transman. Maybe that's why he has no money. He worked hard to earn enough money for various surgeries, but his old job wouldn't have him back when he returned and so he was left on the street where he met his only friend, Abu (monkeys and apes are very trans affirming, there are even some cases of "biologically male" Gorillas who essentially live as and are accepted as females within their troop). This would also explain the open vest, showing off his new chest, and the baggy trousers would hide his hips. When the Genie turns him into a Prince, he becomes fully male, which means he has to give up the thing he's wanted more than anything when he is turned back when he grants the Genie his freedom as promised instead of wishing to be a Prince again, but Princess Jasmine loves him so much that she doesn't care and they get married anyway.

The trans Lars (Steven universe) video was the first video of Ryan's that I ever watched
also talking about loki, idk if you've read it but kate herron (loki's director) has made a lot of transphobic comments regarding loki's genderfluity.
Did she read the actual myths?
in the cw supergirl tv series there’s and trans woman superhero character played by a trans actress :)
Redtail from warrior cats is transmasc and Sedgewhisker from warrior cats is transfem I will die on this hill
Theo in chilling adventures of sabrina is trans! He has a little subplot about him discovering his identity. Literally played by a non-binary person, too. Don’t sleep on Lachlan Watson!
I love the how to train your dragon trans head cannon because that was my favorite movie as a child.
21:10 Pretty sure it's explained that it's male fairies who give birth.
THE LAST EPISODE IM GON CRY BRO
I always loved the idea of Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds being trans. My proof?? I said so and I’m a trans guy that projects onto him.
Here's some of mine:
Seven Of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager.
I love the headcanon for seven of nine. It's now a fact in my brain.
mk so my favorite trans headcannon is Jadzia Dax is trans!!!! I love star trek so much, and ESPECIALLY deep space nine!!! and there's just so many little moments for Jadzia that. like. SCREAM trans to me, and they're all so positive!! shes so confident, and smart and I love her so much so she gets the highest honor i can bestow: ✨transgender✨

13:33 bahahahha I love that!!
My fav trans headcanon is luke patterson from Julie and the phantoms, I have no explanation he just is.
Also flynn and willie are non-binary, they are too cool to be cis
commenting my trans headcanons before i watch to see if they say the same:
peter parker, hiccup, danny phantom, snufkin, dipper pines, eric forman
post video:
1/2 were in the video /lh
Eric Forman! Never thought of it before but I agree.
I love you guys so much!!!
i love this episode sm but also just so you know harry potter is legitimately a metaphor for nazism and there are STRONG themes of anti semitism in harry potter.
Is your Danny phantom video deleted?
I miss the nerd club! It was so fun and I hate we parted ways
According to my brain every single fictional man I related to as a kid is trans and every single fictional man I didn't relate to as a kid is not trans /this is true but I say it jokingly because I don't seriously think this consciously, idk what tone indicator works for this
For every angry adult comment on a trans headcanon video, we make another character trans 😈
The thing about Tom is that he learned how to tie a tie for homecoming when he probably would have known how to tie a tie earlier
See you next year!!
Never mind I haven’t watched the video yet
