Butch’s words at 8:35 really piss me off - his shows are incredibly misogynist, with tons of jokes painting women as shrill nags, women characters not getting as much depth or nearly as much screen time as the male characters, sexist stereotypes defining certain characters (Trixie and Paulina being the shallow popular girl trope, which is astounding that he found so funny as to use twice) and then he’s so against the LGBTQ+ community that he says children need both men and women as parental models. It might sound stupid, but to me it rubs me the wrong way considering how his art portrays women. Sorry for the rambling in this comment but my other takeaway is that i ought to be in this show’s fandom more. I wanna finish it
It is really funny that, in retrospect, the prevalence of shows where this isn't the case, with just as deep and cool female characters is something I'm pretty sure contributed for me to realise I'm transfem.
I used to think they were just making fun of him for being a feminine guy, but now I truly do see the evidence for Danny being trans, whether it is canon or not.
