I stopped watching Nickelodeon after they canceled Danny Phantom and started shoving SpongeBob and Fairly odd parents down our throat... I got sick of seeing my favorite shows get canceled in the mid 2000s, Jimmy Neutron, Teen Titans, Samurai Jack, Danny Phantom was the Last straw.
for me losing these shows as well as Iron Man armored adventures, Wolverine and the X-men, Rugrats, All Grown Up, Avatar the last Air Bender, and many more of their golden shows that were replaced by live action shows or crappy animation shows (fanboy and chum chum just to name an example) killed my respect for Nickelodeon as well I now focus more on some of the Hub, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, and a select few Disney Channel shows while Nick is just slowly dying. I really want to see them get back to the way they once were and have great animation shows and a few late night live action shows that teens to adults can enjoy. That style of entertainment worked and made them the popular channel they were now they are just barely able to keep their audiences coming back with reruns and shows that wont die out with dignity.
When I was younger, my brother told me they canceled this show because they were making to much money, and then I created a letter that never arrived, but asked the creators to send me 5 million dollars so that they could keep making the show, lol.

It used to be on netflix, they just removed it. Likely because the show is years old. I watched the whole series when I was younger on netflix, and just recently when I decided to rewatch it I noticed they had removed it, although thaknfully there's websites I can use instead.
I want a reboot, but at the same time I don't want a reboot because I want them to wait until I'm through with art school and built up a strong enough resume of successful webcomics and novels so I can be a creative director on the team and help to make the reboot myself. I have my own projects that I would love to make into shows, but it would be such a challenge and thrill to work on a show like Danny Phantom.
I understand, but I hate Teen Titans Go and the new Powerpuff Girls with a passion. I don't like the way cartoons are dumbed down and vacant shells of what they were. There's a proper balance that high quality cartoons have between being too immature and too mature for the targeted demographic, and I feel like I'm knowledgeable enough to do a show like this justice.
I actually hope that, if Nick for some reason whatsoever decides on making a DP reboot, that people as passionate about the show are in charge of the project, so they can finally manage to make this show the actual justice it so desperately deserves. I wish I could work in there as well...

Danielle was actually one of my favorite characters when she got introduced and despite it being part of lackluster season 3, "D-Stabilized" was one of my favorite episodes bc not only did it show her potential in development and valuable aspect to the team, but bc of how much stronger her bond with Danny became. Interesting you mention about Dani Phantom being adopted by the Fentons. I had predicted this would happen (although I expected her to be a sort of "Pinnocchio" by having her unstable ectoplasm removed through Fenton tech and becoming a real little girl. Afterwards she'd pass herself off to Jack and Maddie as a long lost cousin and move in) and was disappointed it didn't come to pass onscreen.

This is literally the same question on Butch's video showing Danny, Sam and Tucker 10yrs later. Is it wrong that I'm actually saddened by the fact that Danny is melding with Fairly Odd Parents? It's not that I disliked the show, but I feel like Danny was meant for older audiences, with the crappy reboot of Ben 10 (fyi 107 facts about that was how I got here) it'd be nice to see them do something akin to Young Justice. Bringing back the tv show for those of that bribed our parents to go protest outside Nickelodeon after the cancellation (I was 9). But seriously, does that make me a bad person to actually be disappointed by the "comeback"? If you ask any GB Packer fan what our jerseys look like they will say they're "green with gold". man, I love how butch hartman collaborates with content creators, and holy moly there are so many cool facts here, this was one of my favorite cartoons.
If they're going to bring Danny Phantom back one day, then do it on Adult Swim (like Samurai Jack did), cuz if the revival would be on Nick it would be 90% dumb jokes and 10% action and not like the original which was 50% action, 20% funny jokes and 30% slice of life.

But Poindexter was a real person wasn't he? It was his locker in the episode where he and Danny switched places. Did anyone actually know, for a fact, that these had been living people? Because if not, then they could simply have had their stories evolve around them as people saw these ghosts and speculated about who they could be, not knowing that they weren't those kinds of ghosts.
Maybe some ghosts are created from the negative emotions connected to suicide. Thus the ghost think they are the real people, but are just imitations of ectoplasm-like Shadows from Persona. That could be why some ghosts assume the form of mythological creatures, because of the emotions those stories evoke.
I loved Danny Phantom and my favorite episodes were the dark phantoms ones! Loved the Intro theme opening too! I wish it didn't end on a cliffhanger as long as I remember

Danielle was actually one of my favorite characters when she got introduced and despite it being part of lackluster season 3, "D-Stabilized" was one of my favorite episodes bc not only did it show her potential in development and valuable aspect to the team, but bc of how much stronger her bond with Danny became. So seeing that a season four not only would have made her a more prominent character, but ALSO would have made it to where they would have became actual SIBLINGS makes me livid and I'm RIOTING!! 😭😭😡😡#bringbackdannyphantom #bringbackmychildhood
Same here she is one of my favorite and since she was going to be adopted by the Fenton's becoming danny and jazzed little sister if the show wasn't canceled makes me want it back even more if season 3 was made into a 20 episodes I can see dstabalized being either the second third or fourth episode and then she would return in say episode 10 11 or 12 be it a two part or being like public enemies being a one episode since vlad was likely planning to expose her to the world and danny would have her move into amitypark like inan old house were she would live for the rest of season 3 but still helping him fight his enimies and in the beginning of sason 4 she meets Jack and maddie meet her after finding out the truth about vlad she would meet his parents and become his little sister and you can help bring the show back by going to change.org bring danny phantom back
Interesting you mention about Dani Phantom being adopted by the Fentons. I had predicted this would happen (although I expected her to be a sort of "Pinnocchio" by having her unstable ectoplasm removed through Fenton tech and becoming a real little girl. Afterwards she'd pass herself off to Jack and Maddie as a long lost cousin and move in) and was disappointed it didn't come to pass onscreen.

Is it wrong that I'm actually saddened by the fact that Danny is melding with Fairly Odd Parents? It's not that I disliked the show, but I feel like Danny was meant for older audiences, with the crappy reboot of Ben 10 (fyi 107 facts about that was how I got here) it'd be nice to see them do something akin to Young Justice. Bringing back the tv show for those of that bribed our parents to go protest outside Nickelodeon after the cancellation (I was 9).
But seriously, does that make me a bad person to actually be disappointed by the "comeback"?

Just because the audience has gotten older doesn't mean they need to include a bunch of crude and inappropriate humor. We all love the show the way it was originally. Only way to make it better is to increase the intelligence of the plot over what CartoonNetwork allows with their rule of "All kids shows needs to be stupid to some degree".
I say go to Netflix. It allows for a deeper continuous plot without the need to include crude humor. Like Voltron and Trollhunters.

Did anyone actually know, for a fact, that these had been living people? Because if not, then they could simply have had their stories evolve around them as people saw these ghosts and speculated about who they could be, not knowing that they weren't those kinds of ghosts.
Maybe some ghosts are created from the negative emotions connected to suicide. Thus the ghost think they are the real people, but are just imitations of ectoplasm-like Shadows from Persona.
That could be why some ghosts assume the form of mythological creatures, because of the emotions those stories evoke.
