Hi Zach, great video. I just received my new Lionel blue goose and took it out of the box, as I unwrapped the plastic off the engine, something fell off onto the floor. As I looked down, it was the rear axle on the trailing truck. Then I saw that the clip that holds the axle in place was broke. This didn't happen during shipping because there was no damage to the box. It most likely happened during assembly. Now I have the blue goose blues. Can't even run my new engine until the rear axle is repaired!

The blue goose is a beauty. That red NYC is quite a looker. I’d take them all! Also as an admitted train addict to another. I know and I can relate about the money. It makes me happy and I have something to look forward to. I can start new projects on the layout or finish what I started. I enjoy watching other people’s layouts and trains. The grandkids loves it. My wife is very supportive. I have hope getting into a bigger place so I can at least 40 ft. Keeps me sane other than work work work all the time. Keep up the Videos Zack!

I believe that taller stack from the Santa Fe (IRL) would actually have the ability to move up and down. I remember reading somewhere SF did that because they had some low overhanging stations/tunnels. Once the train got through the obstacle, the crew could make the stack taller again in order to channel the smoke better over the locomotive. Hope all is well Zach. Cheers from Jacksonville Beach.

The Blue Goose Hudson was a promotional move by the Santa Fe to sell passenger ridership. I think it pulled Pullman Green heavyweights on a Chicago to Los Angeles express train called "The Grand Canyon" (please correct me if I'm wrong). A few years ago, when MTH produced the Blue Goose Hudson, they offered it with a set of matching Blue livery streamlined cars. Your fantasy blue Northern would look fantastic pulling that consist if you could find a set somewhere.

On the U.P. 9000 4-12 -2, the first whistle would actually be the most prototypical as they were equipped with a higher pitched Star Brass whistle. As you probably know, only the Challengers, Big Boys, and the 800 4-8-4s were equipped with the big Hancock three chime long bell whistles on Union Pacific.

Very impressive engines to add to your collection, Zach. The fantasy Blue Goose is really stunning and the Union Pacific Greyhound is just magnificent! Very good smokers, too. For the
Blue Goose, I prefer whistle 3. It's got an old fashioned sound that I find familiar. For the Greyhound, I prefer whistle 4, although out respect for its mighty presence, I guess the the Big Boy sound has its place. Thanks for sharing this great news!

@@CountryBunkersTrains No problem. You'll need to Ask Ryan and/or Dave for the gasket separate because they don't sell them unless you buy the stacks for the 3700s and extract it off. I have 2 3700s so with 6 stacks, I took the gasket off of one of the stacks I don't use and I will have to do the same for my 2926 when it shows up.

Some of The Wire rope in the industry is non spinning. Reviewing the load block to all the shifts on the Crane as a procedure usually performed by iron workers. But railroad d**** can do it too if they have the training. As a long shortman, a.k.a. Iron worker, not a gear in the end of Detroit. I've been around the industry for 30 over 30 favorite.
Railroad is the Del Rey connecting railroad on Zug island and it used to be very profitable, but United States still shut down the steel operation and now only maintains a Coker. On the island. I missed that island but The Guardian hall bridge is being erecand that's keeping our iron workers bas well. As the railroad industry that services at Ford motor company recently rebuild Detroit. Railroad station and it is massive massive those those 2 projects are huge, so keep.
