Thank you for this, I have had a vision that I will let go from where I earn money, called a job. Everything you said about saving, worries of what will I do? Will I be homeless, what will happen. I see it clearly. But, I will trust the process, when one door closes, another one opens. Greater is the door that's open, then the one that closes. Layoffs have impeccable timing. When you're about to move, or after you make a big purchase. Or even plan a big trip and put the deposit down or book an airplane. Then you show up Monday just for your boss to tell you to take a hike. I honestly am afraid to do anything, move to another place, or even go on vacation, because I'm afraid that the layoff God's will strike right when I make any real moves

I got laid off in January 2023 and didn't find a job until December. I had to change industries and everything. Luckily, unemployment kept me afloat. My tip is to ENJOY YOURSELF. It's financially stressful, but when will you ever get another opportunity to not work? Go out and do all those things you couldn't do
a company should not have to tell you to "plan accordingly to save money" , girl you should always be saving money for situations like this, I mean emergency fund???
600 a month for personal things like nails and groceries??? What??? I've never heard of such a thing. If my back breaking job gave me that benefit, I would have been able to charge 600 to them for groceries, etc and save 600 of my paycheck. I sure hope that's what you did!

Yup!! I’m extremely traumatized by this. I put my all into that job and I regret much of that.
