From $6K to $73K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

Experted Ann Marie strunk was my hope during the 'bear summer' last year. I did so many mistakes but also learned so much from it, and of course from Maria strunk.

Just sold a property in Alaska and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe but Is this a time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

I think Carroll Shelby’s modifications to the 289 were a bit overrated. Don’t get me wrong-Shelby was a genius, but the truth is that any decent tuner back then could have achieved similar performance results with the same engine. Shelby had the resources and the backing of Ford, but if you gave other builders the same access, they could’ve squeezed just as much power out of the 289. Shelby’s legacy in the automotive world is massive, but the 289 HiPo was already a great engine-it didn’t need Shelby to make it legendary.

That's an interesting perspective! However, I’d argue that Carroll Shelby's work on the 289 was much more than just tuning-it was about precision engineering and relentless pursuit of performance at every level. Shelby didn’t just add power; he transformed the 289 HiPo into an engine that could withstand the brutal demands of endurance racing, something many other tuners couldn’t match. His team’s innovations in cooling, carburetion, and durability were essential to the 289's reliability and success on the track. The Shelby GT350 and Daytona Coupe were indeed well-rounded machines, but the 289's performance and resilience were vital to those cars dominating the circuit. It’s the way Shelby took an already great engine and refined it to a degree that truly set it apart.

Honestly, I think the 289 HiPo was superior to Ford’s 427 in almost every way! Sure, the 427 had more displacement and torque, but the 289 was a far better-balanced engine. It revved higher, was lighter, and performed better in cars designed for both street and track. People get too caught up in the bigger-is-better mindset, but in reality, the 289’s lightweight design and high-revving nature made it a more versatile, efficient powerplant. For real-world driving and racing alike, I’d take a 289 over a 427 any day.

I know this might be controversial, but I believe the 289 is actually a better engine than the Boss 302. Yes, the Boss 302 has that legendary status, especially in Trans-Am racing, but the 289 was a more versatile engine that fit into a wider range of applications. From street cars to race cars, the 289 had a broader impact on Ford’s success, whereas the Boss 302 was more of a niche performance engine. If you look at the lasting legacy, the 289 has more to offer. The Boss may have the fame, but in terms of overall importance, the 289 wins hands down.

The 289’s racing success was more about the cars it was in than the engine itself. The 289 was a good engine, no doubt, but when you look at the success of cars like the Shelby GT350 and the Daytona Coupe, their victories were more about the vehicle design, aerodynamics, and drivers than just the engine. People give the 289 too much credit when, in reality, it was the total package that made those cars winners. You could’ve swapped in other engines, and they still would’ve dominated the track.
