Little precision about handling them : when feeling threatened the Trachycephalus genus is capable of excreting a paste like mucus that will not penetrate skin but will irritate you a lot if it touches your eyes, mouth skin or a flesh cut so that's another reason to wear gloves with these guys. Is there a good kind of glove? From a chemistry perspective, neoprene and latex gloves have a lot of plasticisers and curing agents in them that can leech out in significant amounts. Neoprene contains a lot of sulfates, as does nitrile and latex contains a huge mix of frog-soluble organic compounds. All of the gloves contain at least corn starch and sometimes harsher anti-binding and dry lubricating agents. Most of them probably at least have some liquid mold release agents on the inside. There are gloves produced for clean rooms, like for semiconductor wafer handling and aerospace purposes that explicitly don't have particulate or organic contaminates that can leech out of them, but they're about 10 times more expensive than regular gloves.

I really love these videos, Clint! I just had a huge grin on my face when I saw this one pop up.
I love that you're handling the frogs with gloves on.
I love frogs!!! my dream is to have a backyard pond with native Australia water plants and fish and frogs. I know someone who has 2 ponds that are home to a native frog population and I'm so jealous.
That's a good dream!
This is so cool! What an adorable little froglet!

We say these are our local reptile shop.... to quote my mum “they look like little boggers” 😂😂
I absolutely love this guys you can hear how excited he is to have a cute Little frogy on his finger its a damn precious, he is so happy!!!!! XD😊👍
I love my Amazon Milk Frog sisters, Otto & Echo! Milkies tie for favorite exotic frog species with my White's tree frogs. My first fav sp is our little native Pacific tree frogs. :)
Clint, you should do a community post with a survey so we get to choose the next animal.
I do those all the time. Every Friday.
Great!

Hey just curious, were any videos made during the Australia trip or was it mainly a vacation?
I filmed a lot. Hopefully we can get that together soon.
@@ClintsReptiles Cant wait to see what comes out of it, especially considering the "unique" circumstances at the time you went in reference to the fires.
What a beautiful looking frog! I think this might be the first time I've considered having a future frog, thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
I love their color. Thinking about getting one.
