Fixing a Farm Drainage Issue With Excavator - Oddly Satisfying

- Опубликовано: 12 дек 2020
- Its always Oddly Satisfying cleaning out failed ditches. Using Dirt Perfects John Deere 120 Excavator and Jerry on the Caterpillar D4G, we are slowly getting his family farm into shape. The last time this ditch was cleaned out to this level of excavation was around ten years. It has silted in and slowly started wandering around. The goal is to straighten it out a little bit and get all the spots that have standing water eliminated.
At the end of the video we head up to the homestead and do a little chainsaw work and then give a huge youtube yacht project update so dont miss it!
Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching! As always feel free to reach out

Fixing a Farm Drainage Issue With Excavator - Oddly Satisfying
When all else fails..
JAZZZ HANDS!!! Great vids keep em up!!
"Put a farm tag on it"! Ha, I like that one👍 Congrats on the forward progress on the YT Yacht Project! Your growth and viewership is well deserved! Good work my friend.
Thank you Neil!
Looking good really getting green around the pond. Take care.
Thanks and you as well!
Glad to see the yacht project moving along.
Gotta hand it to you for the ditch work Captain, I'll give you a strong 8.5 for technique, there's so many on RUclips I'd only give a 3 or 4 to. Good ditch work is an art form & an operator competent in ditch work is hard to find. Give yourself a gold star Lol
Hey thanks for the kind words!
Captain love your video you did a good job on the ditches and glad you are moving on with your cabin.
Thank you sir!
I know you’re not quite to the “pre-booking” stage yet, but when you get this cabin built, I would certainly be interested in visiting! Glad to hear you’ve been blessed with provisions to move forward! Keep it up “bud”!
Loving the cold starts or not starting as is . Cool shots especially inside the pipe. I bet you wish that you were doing this in warm weather to enjoy the aroma of all that muck on the bottom of the ditch 😆
It's a pleasure to watch you do your stuff. You are a pleasant man. Keep it up capitano!
Thank you!
Your vids are ALWAYS satisfying! Loved the Culvert Cam!
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice video sir and congratulations on the forward progress of the RUclips yacht.
Thank you!
Permit! And footers yay!!! Moving right along. 🛳
Can’t wait to get it finished and have you all over for a stay!
congrats on the septic permit and the pond is looking nice and green.
Thank you!
You sir are a good man, congratulations on all your success so far.
Thank you for the kind words!
Those impact driven chain binders are the bees knees! Stay safe
Always something with a dead battery on DP's equipment. lol I hope you enjoy your gift I sent and it serves you well. Merry Christmas also.
They are great sir! Already put to use and loving them. Can’t thank you enough. Hope all is well on your end this holiday season
I can see how that noise could be quite annoying. I was surprised at the amount of dirt that accumulated after cleaning out the ditch. Then again, it hadn't been cleaned out in ten years. Thanks for the update on the youtube yacht project. Have a blessed and safe week, and please stay healthy.
It kind of surprised me as well! A lot had accumulated. That area goes under water every year as well from the river coming up, so there is additional deposit from that which may be why it had built up so much.
Your right it is oddly satisfieing watch you do it on my end also great job can't wate to see the camp up and running
Thank you sir!
Captain, you are a smooth operator
Thank you!
Nice video and update.
Thank you sir!
I think you should do all of your work on time lapse. Yeah, you get a lot more done in a shorter span of time!
love progress on the yacht site
Thanks!
Even the littlest repairs can bring great joy 😁
Excellent Job Capt.
Thank you sir!
Congrats on the permit and RUclips success
Thank you!
Good job....like the little fixes.... by the way the pond looks great from previous video
Thank you sir!
The ditch looks really good. Ahhh tree cutting. What fun
Always a good time!
Thanks!
Great selection of tools there Brother 🤣 You do what you have to do sometimes 👍
It’s what I had! 😂😂😂. Didn’t even need the wire strippers, believe that? 😂
Lets Dig 18 should be jealous of that ditching job, great work
😂. Thanks for watching sir!
The captain isn’t quite the ninja with the excavator that LetsDig 18 is, but he’s up there....and I would say that Dirt Boss up in New York is probably 3rd in line in the terms of skill. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone that beats LetsDig on the excavator, you just couldn’t find them.
@@deplorablelibertarian seen a CAT demo operator play Mary had a Little Lamb on a keyboard with a mini about 20 years or so ago. I would like to see Letsdig 18 try it. He is good, but there are lots of good ones out there.
@@littlefinkle7757...I’m not doubting that there are fantastic operators out there, I worked with one of those dudes a few times on a bulkhead job I did a few years back. They are out there; but they are few and far between.
Dirt ninja has some skill too. Takes some searching but you can find some good operators right here on RUclips. Lookin good Kleeman, congrats on gettin the project going.
Keep on the course Captain, enjoying your content thoroughly and the pond build was an amazing development. Looking forward to more of the Boat House.
Great! Thanks for the video, Merry Christmas to you and your family.
You as well sir!
Gee, you use that excavator, like it was an extension of your arm and hand, very good operator 👌👌
Thank you!
Good video Captain. The ditch looks so much better. Glad to see you got your permit. Have a great day.
Thank you sir!
Good job with the ditch
Thank you!
Next video needs a pond update. It's got to be close to full now! Congrats on the permit!
Always looking forward to the latest video!
Thanks for tagging along!
Congrats Captain🖒you are good man making nice videos 🌟
Stay well and safe
You as well sir!
Love your adjustments
Great video Captain
Thank you sir!
Another good video. It’s fun to see the progress.
Thank you!
You provide the entertainment, we watch. Win Win 👍😎
Thanks for the support
Thanks for sharing Good video!
Lovely to see the protect moving forward. Also great to see you using chaps with the chainsaw, Not enough people do. Nice work.
Thank you!
Great to see you have the subscribes to start cabin can't wait to see it happen
We are definitely humbled and excited about!
Captain you and Jerry work well together, the pond looks great and your site is coming along. Thanks for sharing. Kevin
And thanks for watching!
Nice work on the ditches. Great news about yatch build and take some credit for providing great content for us to enjoy. Stay safe
Thanks for the kind words!
Happy for u and ur family. I'm looking forward to seeing all this being done. Great video and really like ur work.
Thank you sir!
The pond with all that grass looks like a golf course! Looking great!
Definitely happy with the way it’s coming along!
I wish my finances were better I would get some merchandise and donate a little. Maybe this summer.
Be safe and have fun!
Terry from South Carolina
Your comments and likes are enough! Thanks for all the support
Another great video! I have a hammer just like the one you were using! Congrats on the yacht progress!!
Great work on the ditch looks very nice.
But I've noticed that a lot of you guys in the states do ditch work but no one uses a proper ditch bucket 6-8ft wide speeds the job up loads.
You tube yacht coming along nicely 👌 good luck to you an yours
Hey thanks!
I noticed water tends to run downhill, great job.
nice work - it always feels great to do the type of work we were made to do
Agree!
Awesome job mike glad to hear the footer are bout to start and no matter what I always get a laugh outta your videos well done your almost @ 20k subs too awesome stuff on the horizon I think 👍👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks for all the kind words!
Nice job captain.
Thank you sir!
Awesome video C. Kleeman
Thank you sir!
A sign of a true professional. Always the proper tool for the job.
I may disagree slightly, sometimes it’s about getting the job done right with what a fella has. The main thing is a satisfied customer with a quality job I suppose
@@CaptainKleeman Was being a wise guy. After 40 yrs as a field mechanic I learned that the goal is to dig dirt.
Congratulations on getting the permit and money for footers its all starting to roll now well done 👍
Glad to hear things are progressing with the Utube Yacht project. Look forward to following the progess as you go along !! :-)
Glad you’re tagging along!
Looking Grand Captain K! (I was M.I.A. for a month but I'm Baack!) wanted to watch your vids on a full size screen :-)
Good job
Thanks Joyce
I always enjoy your channel, try to improve your audio volume, I wish you and your family a happy and healthly holiday.
Captain (happy) Kleeman to the rescue and I know I keep saying but "beautiful blue skies" just what I need to see, its soooo dark and nasty here today.
Definitely was a beautiful day that day! Thanks for watching
Nice job with old squeaky. Good video.
Thank you sir!
Already subbed, I've smashed the like button, and here is my comment. I like the all the camera angles from cab view to gopher view to culvert view. Nice job on the ditch too.
Thank you for all the support!
He's missing one camera view, the one from the drone. Lol
@@davidfisher69 funny
Always enjoy your content buddy, be safe and Happy Christmas to you and the family. God bless
Same to you sir!
Oh gosh, it sounds like the "warranty work" didn't fix that 120 squeak. DP says it is in a different area. Poor worksalot, having to charge by the pound... and now double $$ for the false accusations. DP's surely paying for Jason's entire move to Derby. LOL Cheers and Congrats Captain.
Personally I think he is doing it on purpose just trying to trick Jason in to coming back again 😂😂
Looking forward to the footers and what the layout is going to be. I have a picture in mind but can't wait till we see it.
We are just as excited!
Nice work your doing Cpt !!! Your def making it happen that's for sure. Plus your vid has a lot of action in it and humor . Keep the vids coming Cpt. Don't like cliff hangers.
Thanks for the kind words sir!
Hey Captain, a tip in felling your trees, make your final back cut 1-2" higher than your hinge point.
Nice to see you are able to use the money you made from the channel to pay for the footers. Very cool, nice job!
We are pretty excited. Thanks for all the support
@@CaptainKleeman No problem man!
Be right back watching DP right now.
Did that first.
Understandable!!! I did the same thing 😂😂
I see Mike keeps thy inside of his truck as clean as his desk ! Lol
Nice video nice job nice guy
Thank you!
Solid work, sir! er....well, soggy work....Congrats on the permit and funding for the footers! I can't wait to see the progress, as I'm sure you can't either.
We are definitely excited!
Oddly satisfying indeed sir, pleased we are able to contribute a small hand to your yacht project. Only problem is I can't assist in person Mike !! 😬😬😬🤣
Hey I appreciate all the support!
Классное видео)
Hey man that was pretty entertaining. Peaceee
Hey thanks for watching!
Good video
Thank you!
👍 from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Hey you did a great job on that there ditch “bud” !
Thank you sir!
Who needs a Gradall when you have a Kleeman? 🤷🏻♂️
Now that’s a piece of equipment I’ve always wanted to try!
@@CaptainKleeman First time I operated a Gradall it was being used as a pit loader. Detroit up and down and no swing brakes. Get it swinging and time your dump.
The 3 we had in our equipment fleet spent more time broken down than being productive. Lol.
Cool stuff
Thanks!
So we all get a free stay in it once built 😀
Some people will
I can't help but laugh. When you were "adjusting" the latch with the pipe wrench in the left side of the frame is a hammer!
Everything’s a hammer 🤷♂️😂
Adjustable hammer 😂😂
Tell that to a dentist!
All you need now is a custom made slick it up pivoting smooth bucket
It would come handy. A little less moving around of the machine
Get that $$ ! Enjoyed the video.
Thank you sir!
Congrats on the permit and the financial situation that will allow for progress on the RUclips Yacht project.
I see in the background towards the end that the pond is looking even greener than it was in your update. I guess the weather is holding out and the grasses are still growing.
All my grass is asleep under a blanket of snow. Yuck.
I am absolutely amazed at how well that grass has taken hold this time of year. Stay warm!
LOL I know everyone does it that way with a pipe wrench ,but take it from a water well driller since 73 use the face of the wrench not the movable jaw side you break a handle or two you'll understand even though certain brands carry a lifetime guarantee on them ! Thanks for the videos !
You make great point!! Thanks for looking out
@@CaptainKleeman you guys aren't that far from home enjoy all the videos stuff I grew up with & doing so thanks.
SO I REALLY HAD TO LAUGH AT THE SHOT WHERE I WAS STARING AT A HAMMER IN THE TOOLBOX ON THE 120 WHILE YOU WERE POUNDING ON THE LATCH WITH A PIPE WRENCH. lol
Pipe wrench was heavier there for a better hammer 🤷♂️😂
Is there a video that gives your excavator experience? You seem quite at home operating these machines. Did you consider this a career at one time and because of getting in to the fire dept. choose it as a "hobby"?. I have enjoyed your videos and look forward to more!
That’s exactly it sir! Thanks for all the support
You are sure appreciating those tight pins. No floppy boom, stick, and bucket..... Smooth moves.
Maybe DP needs to hone the main boom pin to help it stop complaining.
He said he has it taken care of today. Said it was an easy fix. Not sure what it was exactly though
+1 point for fixing that toolbox, you need to make sure that shows up on the job notes hi-lighted in yellow.
😂😂
Makes me feel better to see someone else fix stuff with a pipe wrench and flat bar. Guess "old floppy bucket" is working on a new, shorter, nickname, "squeaky".
Everything’s a hammer right?!?
@@CaptainKleeman Except for 3/4" ratchets, those are too expensive.
Your content always has “good entertainment value” thanks Kleeman ...pretty cool seeing the different waterlines in the culvert pipe shot you did.
Hey thanks for watching!
👍
"Mom, Dad took all the kool aid again!" I guess buffer strips aren't required there. Nice work and great news on the yacht projects.
😂😂. It’s a morning drink for a little caffeine since I don’t do sodas.
I like your Eng6ine hat !!
Hey that was a cute seat for MBTS! So are we going to see him before Christmas? Well tell him Hello for me!
Don’t let captain fool you he uses my booster seat all the time 😂😂😂
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 Hello sir! Where are you? missing you appearance. You are a all right stand up guy to put up with all the kidding. But ya know it is in care and fun. So Have a Merry Christmas, tell HR and DP all you want for Christmas Is a pay Raise! Ha Ha Ha.
