Attacking the voter base by calling them maga extremists, deplorable, white supremacists, etc is the most divisive thing a politician can do.
Donald trump said they should jail Hilary Clinton when he was running. That’s literally calling for the arrest of your political opponents.

On $11k a year, the state of Massachusetts is allowing insurance companies to charge $390 a month for MINIMUM coverage, or 42% of income PRE TAX.
My coworker has a rate of nearly $800/month on a salary of ~$30k.
It's completely out of control. The price gouging by pharma, insurance companies, and doctors is absurd.
90% of the bureaucratic jobs should have been automated by now, I'm not sure why we need insurance companies, it should be an app by now.
Then there's the rent seeking of pharma IP to stifle real innovation, and line the pockets of top executives and ownership.
You also have to talk about medical training that requires huge capital investment, does a poor job of selecting people suited for the profession, and provides all kinds of incentive to deny entrance to the industry, and to inflate wages at the expense of patient care.
It's what we should actually be talking about, and the fact that we aren't is GLARING.

In my experience working in nursing homes, what you really need to do is replace the overpaid rooms full of bureaucrats with nurses' aides, cleaning and activities staff.
Ultimately it's a labor management problem, and you've got a lot of misallocation happening.
Your private sector monkeys are fine with lining their pockets at the public expense, and filling rooms full of useless bureaucrats. They just hide the problem behind different legal mechanisms.

This isn't the 1970's when there were no MRIs or CT or CAT scans or any advanced imaging tech or non-invasive surgeries or advanced cancer treatments and rudimentary pharmaceuticals. These things are extremely expensive. Maybe because Iran is no where near the craziness Russia is at? I mean forgive me if I’m wrong but here are some major differences:
1. Iran isn’t annexing multiple neighboring countries
2. Iran doesn’t have nukes
3. Russia seems to have no regard for peace treaties. We’re currently here because they keep invading and/or annexing from Ukraine, Georgia, soon Belarus, and soon Moldova. It’s insane and proves Russia is way farther from normalcy than Iran.

Ben literally getting curb stomped on most talking points and proceeding to go further down the rabbit hole of whatever conversation topic they’re on to avoid concession. Listen to who’s actually not addressing the other and you will find the person who’s actually correct on that talking point (at least in a debate setting which I think everyone agrees isn’t the most constructive, but is the closest we really get to an objective conclusion on a matter).

Im a fan of neither. Ben argues with bias, but hes trying to be objective. Destiny argues in bad faith, hes trying to force the argument to fit even when it naturally doesnt.
@@enterpassword3313 I would say that’s not true, Ben has too much audience capture that he will cherry pick evidence for the viewpoint his supporters agree with. If there was study that came out tomorrow showing that a socialist mode of production would objectively be the best way to organize an economy, Ben Shapiro isn’t going to endorse that view and lose the daily wire audience. Meanwhile destiny has many times taken stances directly against what a majority of his audience thinks. You can literally watch his streams and see how he comes to conclusions while considering the other positions.

Ill give an example, destiny was trying to prove trump is more divisive, he mentions flag burning. There is no way he actually thinks taking a strong stance against flag burning is divisive, and he doesnt care to try justify it, he just slips it in like it speaks for itself. Its a bad faith argument. He constantly goes with stuff that sounds bad over what makes sense to support his preconcieved notions, and he mashes it into a convoluted argument. You say watch his streams and see how he comes to conclusions. Yeah ive seen him start with a preconcieved notion and then force everything to fit. I would say this is typical of him and hes reputation is for being clise minded beyond reasoning, thats for good reason
Wheras i think although ben has the same kind of biases in many ways, hes not actively trying to do that to further his argument, he tries to be very dry and objective as possible because he wants to win the argument that way, its actually inherently much harder to midlead people when you speak like that. Thats just his style, even tho hes still guilty of using buzzwords and ill grant you he knowingly uses fallacies sometimes, its much harder to find examples than it is with d. I probably agree with ben less ideologically, but hes far more honest than destiny i find. Thats a generalisation, whrn it comes to israel you see the worse parts of ben start to come out, or when destiny mentions trump... anyway....
The “fact over feelings” guy really used the term, “my feeling on this is…” a lot. Nothing he said about divisiveness makes any sense within reason or logic. If Ben JUST LIKES a guy who’s republican, just say that. He tries to pretend like he has a logical reason for his feelings, he doesn’t. He just feels that way and that’s fine, but he doesn’t present any good reasons unless u already agree with him.

I grew up in Germany where you didn’t have to worry about doctor bills, where you get 6-8,weeks of paid vacation, have a 37 day work week. I can’t hear 50 years ago, where even then it was never like that. Leave if I don’t like it ? Who’s gonna pay for my relocation, find me a job,a place to live ? I don’t have the luxury of not working while I resettle in a different country. THIS is the riches country in the world and they’re trying very hard to take away the little we have. Iran was becoming modern and westernized before we overthrew their democratically elected government in the early 1959s. I would argue that the entire region would be more western style and modern but for western interference that supports strong man dictatorial governments that supress it's people. The hate aimed at the US would not exist if we were not a dominant force in the region. The move towards fundamentalism was a reaction to outside forces that were indomitable by normal normal political means.

As a small business owner, Trump was a great president and had the economy booming in a way my company hadn’t seen since only a select few years of the Bush administration (I wasn’t the owner at the time.) Friends I know who own small businesses also just accept this as an undeniable fact whether you like him as a person or not. If you’re a millionaire streamer or you work for a massive corporation you probably wouldn’t notice an economic difference between Trump or Biden but for regular people it isn’t even close. I’m barely holding on at this point after years of Biden. Democrats have abandoned and now actively work against the middle class and small business owners.

Trump not supporting Ukraine would be a disaster for world politics, and he openly admitted it. It negates whatever economic policies he’d bring to the table, for me. Then again, I’m not an American - just trying to imagine I am.
Can you articulate why it would be a disaster if he didn’t support Ukraine? I would suggest we could’ve sent no money or aid and the Russia Ukraine situation would’ve ended in the same result. The same thing we have now.

The amount of aid given by the US since then has fallen off, and there has been very little change in territorial control since.
What do you think would have happened without this aid? Would Ukraine have taken territory back without these weapons from the US? Europe literally didn't have the equipment or manufacturing necessary to fill that gap if the US didn't. In fact, there's a fair chance much of western Europe would have seen Ukraine as a lost cause if a key supporter like the US wasn't on board with supporting it, potentially causing them to limit their own contributions. Unless the equipment was worthless or unneeded, I don't see how the US played no role in recovering and holding territory in the war. If you know something I don't, I'd be happy to hear about it.
