haha I made sure I had made my sacrifices to the diecast gods that day so they looked after me!!! It's like when someone says we can't loose from here and your team gets beaten in the last 5 seconds of a game, haha. Thanks for watching!!! 😁
Haha, I get that. The Tomcat is iconic but as you know technology moves at a very fast pace. I wonder how long the F-18 has left in service? Here in the UK, as a kid I can still remember the English Electric Lightning, Phantoms slowly being phased out and being replaced by the Tornado ADV/IDS. Only seems like yesterday :)
@@RicheUK Yeah time I swear goes faster the older I get, haha. Or maybe I'm just realising I'm running out of sand in my hour glass, hahaha. Just wait until another war starts and see how quick technolgy advances, both previous world wars were a perfect example. Some airframes only having a service life of a couple of years before being outdated, compared to aircraft serving for decades at times during the post cold war era's. I think the F-35 is going to replace a lot of existing aircraft unfortunately. And I personally don't even think its that great, haha. Probably in the next 30 or 40 years there won't even be pilots, lol
@@heavymetaldiecast Yep still a big question mark on the F-35. From what I read/watched the jury is still out on how good it really is? Some top brass indicates its a jack of all trades but master of none. However I can't imagine it not being a excellent aircraft this far down the line with so many countries invested in it. :)
@@RicheUK and sometimes it's not always the best plane that gets the biscuits in other countries ...sometimes palms get greased I would imagine, I recall that happened with Lockheed and the F-104 back in the mid 70's,haha
Oh wow, that would have been an awesome experience to work on one of these aircraft!!! You would be the best critique on these in regard to how accurate HM got it since you have been up close and personal with them🙂. Thanks for watching.
They are a fairly solid build. Yes the lines are fairly noticeable, which may annoy some. Its why I do the videos and try and show as much detail as I can so viewers themselves can decide if you like it or not. Thanks as always for dropping past!!!
Cant imagine people looking at a slideshow without some background music going on,haha. It would be a quiet 2 mins, haha. In the description there is generally the credit of the music provider if not done automatically by RUclips!! Thanks again for watching!!!
@@indritdedia1691 because it's availability and pricing is different for each country I don't really have a link. But if you type the Hobby Master number in Google it will most likely show some available to buy close to your location. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Thanks for watching
When you said “and nothing broke” my heart sank because I swear every time I say that I drop whatever I’m holding

I love the F-18 Hornet design so aesthetically pleasing to look at
They do look nice, although I do secretly resent them,haha...since they replaced the F-14's,haha

Although the lines are too deep for me, I must admit that the HM F/A-18A/B and C/D is a very well made model. Honestly he is amazing…
