The 00 planes are painted in full color and shiny. They are the ones that display the CAG info. The 01 displays the CO info. Navy squadrons have sailors who have achieved a squadron level award painted on different areas of the jet.
I used to Collect Franklin Mint 1/48 Scale dicast Fighter's, But when Franklin Mint got out of the Dicast Aircraft the other Companies made the Aircraft in 1/72 Scale but kept the same Price which upset me very much. Great Review 👍✌
An AD1 is a aviation engine mechanic, 1st Class Petty Officer or E6. An AM1 is a Aviation Structural Mechanic and hydraulic Technician. Also E6. SOY= sailor of year. PC is plane Capitan usually a E4 or below that's in charge of the individual aircraft.

Just awesome! My favorite jet and I wish they made a super hornet in 1 18th. I know they made the legacy charley but I would love an E and F model Super in 1 18th. Beautiful model anyway! Great job!
There’s a pilot who flew with the puking dogs squadron who does content on RUclips his name is Ward Carroll he probably can answer all of your questions, and probably knows the guy personally who’s name is on that jet if it’s not fictional you should check him out he does great aviation content.
It's been a while since you posted any review. F-18 doesn't look too small even though it's 1/72 scale. Aircraft carrier deck diorama makes F-18 much more realistic...cool.
I like the way they did the landing gear the hornet I put together had the landing gear to be installed individually after a few moves to different locations the gear fell out. It was not good . I’ll look for this manufacturer’s model. I’d love to have that set up I have just the place for it .
The “nuts” jet, 00 would have the name of the command awarded “sailor of the year” stenciled on the NLG door. The rest of the jets have the name of that aircraft’s PC (plane captain, Brownshirt, same as line rats) on their NLG. Up below the cockpit would be the CAG name on the 00, 01 and up would have the CO, XO, and other pilots names.

The biggest issue with the base craft model was that the life raft cases are the same grey as the ship, and also has a little bell looking thing, think at a hotel counter, that you would smack and would release the life rafts.

I congratulate you for the video and all the videos I have seen on your channel. The truth is an excellent piece of this plane that is one of my favorites as are the F-14 Tom cat, the A-6e Intruder and the A-7E Corsair II. And for display of a very well detailed aircraft carrier runway.
For quality, many jet variations, good fitment I would suggest you to Hobby Master. But JC Wings also has advantages such as detailed rudder, air brake, movable cockpit, aircraft livery and very beautiful box art. But JC Wings has fitment problem, you have to prepare Glue Tack or Hobby Glue to fix loose ordnance..
Plane captain names, the enlisted personal that take care of the aircraft. The "sailor of the year" is a title awarded to the "best" sailor in the squadron.

Watching the landing gear install and remove at Hobby Master is a lot of fun.

Each wing load out is mission dependent. That’s coming from an Aviator in the fleet. If the mission required that load out, we would utilize that.
