We just started our Fresh Freeze Company a few days ago and excited for the journey along with the rest of the FD family on social media! We are doing the whole cottage food sells, to help pay off the FD while we FD our fruits and vegetables to mix them into smoothies etc due to our diet on the run. We can now make our own healthy on the go meals vs fast food ect.We are on a journey of becoming healthy and becoming self sufficient as many of you are already! Soups and stews are one my favorite things to freeze dry. I usually just throw leftovers in but I might need to make a huge pot of soup just for freeze drying.
Nice to make a big batch at once, but also so smart to throw in leftovers! Love that is saved waste and saves freezer space

Me too! I'm now thinking I could try and freeze dry just taco meat on its own.... then rehydrate and throw into tortillas for a no cooking camping meal! We are a taco loving family too

Soup is one of my favorite things to freeze dry. It is so much more convenient than freezing and having to thaw. A healthy, quick meal anytime.
I totally agree and love that it reconstitutes so easy, just add hot water and you're good to go. Much less mess than thawing and warming on the stove.

That is a super great idea!!!! I know there are some soups that dont can well but can FD and re constitute nicely! I am going to have to make a batch of this once my FD is fixed and jar it up :) Thanks for a wonderful video

I'm hoping to get a freeze dryer soon, because it is an additional way to keep food. The soup looks delicious!! I try to make my own seasoning with certain things that I can dehydrate from my garden - like tomato powder, peppers, etc but I cheat sometimes and get a few packs of things from Walmart also. Their packets are so cheap and sometimes they have sales on some of them, like mongolian beef and specialty ones.
If you have a garden it’s so nice to preserve all of that produce with a freeze dryer! Fresh is so much better than the store bought - haha but sometimes go for the convenient option 😆 I’ve made garlic powder and onion powder with my freeze dryer and it’s so good 🎉
